   Amazing food and pretty good service. A few items seem a bit overpriced (a small glass of basic wine will cost $20), otherwise a favorite for special occasion dining.

   We love Mahogany and come in several times per year for special occasions. This time was no different from the always exceptional experience we have come to expect from this restaurant. Our waiters were GREAT - they stayed on top of everything including making sure our martinis were perfect. They were very fun to talk with and had great suggestions on menu selections. Our only regret is that we were too full to eat dessert! We hope to have the same waiters again when we come back - those two were some of the best service we've ever had there.

   Ordered cowboy bone in rib-eye. Received some other steak. Waitress who took order never brought out food. Server who brought out steak did a drop and gone. After about 5 minutes I just ate what was there. I think it was their regular rib-eye. Taste was good and cooked to med rare perfectly but was tougher than a steak you’d get 24/hr breakfast restaurant. Lots of silver skin and extremely tough. Two weeks ago we tried 801 Chophouse and last week we tried Fleming’s. Both better choices with excellent service. Mature and attentive servers. This was a very disappointing from service to plate. Young inexperienced servers, 3 visits to table. Took order, different server brought food, original server asked if everything was ok dropping off ticket.

   Just Wow, excellent I’m every way, Food was absolutely delicious and 5 of us had steaks , all cooked to perfection. Augrautin potatoes and mushroom risotto was out of this world.

   We have really enjoyed Mahogany in the past and try to visit when we are in Omaha. This visit was not what we usually experience. It was busy for a Wednesday. We had a reservation, and were only supposed to have our table for an hour and a half (per their website). It seemed to take a long time to get our food. Our main courses didn’t arrive for an hour. Mine was perfect, but my husband’s filet was room temperature. I fed him pieces of my steak while they tried to correct it. It returned hot but dried out. Ultimately, they took it off our bill and gave us free dessert. We ended up occupying our table for over 2 hrs. It was exhausting and disappointing.

    This was the best dining experience I have ever had in my 67 years. It was my birthday and the special recognition I received made me feel so good. Such a great serving team, food was so delicious, and I loved the ambiance. I will definitely return.

    There is no denying the good food here, but I am comparing with previous. We did not feel the food was quite as outstanding as the last time we ate there, in March. Our seating request that we made in advance was not satisfactory. This was a group of 5 fairly large men and we were only able to get a U-shaped booth versus table seating that I had requested in advance. We not offered any other options. This left us with very cramped seating especially for the 2 who were stuck sitting in the bend where the seating is a straight 90 degree turn. Not good for leg comfort. The wait staff was very good as usual at least for us, and the overall noise levels in the restaurant were fine. For the money you pay here though, there should be no complaints.

    Food was really good but service wasn’t. We were seated at a table too small for four normal-sized adults. When we asked to move (at 5:00), the manager told he us could love us but we needed to vacate the new table by 7:00. He repeated it twice for some reason. He then came back to “see how we were doing” 30 minutes later and had completely forgotten that he had just met us. The server was really annoying with an overly rehearsed delivery of everything. Really liked the food but not sure I’ll be back due to the service. Premium prices should mean a premium experience…not at Mohoganey last night

    Excellent as always. The calamari is enough for 4 and is the best in the world. The New York strip was seasoned and cooked perfectly and matches up against any steak served anywhere else. The sides, green beans and sautéed spinach were okay, nothing special, but enough for 2-3 people. The service was a little subpar but likely because the restaurant was very busy. I have been going here for probably at least 15 years and will continue to do so. I think Mahogany is one of the top restaurants I have ever eaten in and I am a business traveler, foodie.

    Food was cooked perfectly. A tad too much salt and pepper for my personal taste, but I like a more bland steak. Service staff was extremely friendly, and was always available and answered all questions. The only downside was the booth we had was in the corner, which made sitting a bit awkward, plus was near the window, so was ice cold the entire meal.

    The restaurant manager just contacted me and apologized again and offered a certificate for another experience at their restaurant. He assured me that this was so unusual, as I had expected, since the restaurant was totally occupied with no available times of changing my dining time meaning it was very popular As I had previously noted, ALL the food was delicious and would recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. I understand things do happen and the restaurants manager prompt attention to my experience only makes my return inevitable:)

    Mahogany is my favorite restaraunt in Omaha for a special occassion. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is amazing and the service is absolutely wonderful! I love this place!

    Porterhouse came out great and I suggest letting them precut it for you. Desert was amazing. I wish they had smoke for my old fashioned but oh well.

    It was great to have Gina as our waitress again. She's makes the dining experience so nice. We always start off with the lobster cargot and it was delicious as usual. We split wedges salads, had steaks, brussels, corn +. Everything was fantastic.
