Mahogany Prime Steakhouse - Tulsa Ratings and Reviews
Great food and fantastic service! My medium filet mignon had a touch of crisp on the edges that added just the right umph to make it devine. The bison steak was excellent, I wish it came smaller so I could order it for myself. We really go for for the calamari. Highly recommend for a great night out.
It's a Christmas Eve tradition. We do go at other times too.
The food is delish. Tenderloins on Toast is an appetizer and is tender enough to eat with a fork. It is served with a Hollandaise sauce and is big enough to be considered a meal.
The house salad is the best house salad I have ever had! I have it everytime for my entree because I like it so much!
Mahogany's is a steak house and their steaks are perfect. You order side dishes separately and they are big enough to share. There is also seafood and specials.
It is not on the menu but if you ask they will make kids food, i.e. chicken strips, fries, etc... My son also likes the 4-layer Chocolate cake. It is big enough to share.
Mahogany's is the best place to dine in Tulsa. I have never had a bad meal or experience.
We were celebrating a new job and a move to Tulsa. We set reservations for 5pm. Realizing we may be running a tad late, we called and asked if we could arrive at 530pm instead. After checking with the manager twice, we were told that if we come at 530pm we have to vacate our table by 645pm. I asked if it was really so busy on a Thursday night that we had to either be there at 5pm or rush our celebration dinner and the answer was ‘yes, so what do you want to do’. So, we hurried and got there at 5pm. We were literally the only car in the parking lot. We had a mediocre meal (strip was way too fatty), and then at 645pm like clockwork, the wait staff began hovering over us for us to leave. As we walked out at 649pm, 75% of the dining room tables were still empty. I think this place takes itself waaaayy too seriously. Won’t be getting my business moving forward. Ever.
I went with my friend to celebrate my birthday and while it is pricey, everything was great. The service was wonderful from the moment we walked in until we left, the food was so yummy. My favorite dish was the dessert, and when we left the manager came by and wished me a happy birthday and gave me a box of chocolates! It was such a nice night!
I celebrated my Mother's 88th birthday 🎂 with her there. She thoroughly enjoyed herself, seeing many friends she has at the restaurant and eating her favorite dishes. Our wait staff was outstanding! Irma (Erma?), and others whose names I do not remember, was the best! Thank you for helping to make my Mother feel so special!
We had another excellent dinner. Jean and Daisy took great care of us!! Lobster escargot was fabulous as always. My husbands steak was cooked perfectly. All of the food was so well prepared!!! Brandy Ice is such a fun cocktail.. Mahogany's never disappoints!!!
Food was great. Service wasn't that great. Sever who said they were a sommelier spilled a good amount of my 115 dollar bottle of wine and said nothing just walked away. I put in the reservation that it was my girl friends birthday and the server asked if we were celebrating anything special which I then said again yes her birthday but nothing special was done until after I paid the bill and asked if they do anything special for special occasions who then asked what we were celebrating celebrating. All in all the steak was amazing experience not so great.
I definitely recommend getting the lobster Mac and cheese as a side, we did the surf and turf as a meal, the fillet was perfectly cooked medium rare and had great flavor! For dessert I loved the key lime pie (fresh & delicious) and my husband enjoyed the crème brûlée (good but not the best we’ve ever had)
