There’s a reason why we were able to get a reservation for 8 at late notice. We were rather underwhelmed with the food and service from a supposedly higher end restaurant. Service was terribly slow from the start. 15 minutes to take drink orders , then the server was overly ambitious while serving water and spilled a full glass down the back of one of our guests. Appetizers took 30min; onion rings were uncooked with raw onion, calamari was undercooked and batter falling off …… both were inedible and removed for the bill. We didn’t want to hold our meal and wait another half hour for replacements. Scallops and goat cheese were decent . Entrees were another 40-45 mins later. The highlights were the duck nachos and beef tenderloin, as well as side orders of home cooked fries, chicken burger was so-so and the Deep fried fish was soaked in oil. The halibut special was $50 and rather bland and tasteless, while the lamb shank special was oversalted and briney, and really not that good . We were celebrating a birthday party , and rather than provide a free dessert, we were offered a $10 GC for future visit……. We won’t be back so it will never be used. Overall 1.5 out 5…….. underwhelming for the cost.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and each experience has been consistently amazing. The food quality is top-notch and the staff, especially Blair, are always attentive and provide excellent service. They truly pay attention to every detail, making it a standout dining experience. It has quickly become my favorite restaurant and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food, service, and attention to detail.

Magnum and steins is our go-to. Every dinner (and happy hour feast) has always been incredible. The consistency is beyond amazing. The people within the reataurant are equally amazing:)) Please don't change what you do.

Tomato dish was quite good. Reservations for seven took order at 7:15. Entre finally served at 8:30 pm

Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. We had the onion rings and calamari to start. Both were excellent. Both of us had the halibut as our main course. It was a generous portion of fish. The sauce and accompaniments were very tasty. We found the staff very attentive. The other couple we were with seem to really enjoy their food as well with the exception that one of the people ordered the beef tenderloin medium and it was at most medium rare in the centre definitely rare. I would suggest that if you were ordering the beef, you order it no more than medium rare because it is a thick cut.

The food tasted good but way over priced. The chicken burger was tasty but the chicken piece was too thin. The serving size was not worth the money. Onion rings and wings disappointed, only 5 wings and 5 onion rings for $30. Drinks were great. Fries were ok. Overall, I would go again but probably not order the sides.

The service was slow. Menu prices are on the high side but the food is very high quality so worth the extra cost. This my first time dining here and I was a little disappointed with the atmosphere. Didn’t match my expectations for a high end restaurant.
