Fried Green Tomatoes
Brewers Malt Crust, Local Farmers Cheese, Tomato Jam, Pork Belly, Toasted Pistachio Butter, Sriracha Aioli
Neither empty appetizer nor salad plates were cleared until we asked when main course was set down. Had to ask for silverware.
But the food was very good/
Lovely restaurant, great food and ambience. A little on the pricey side but worth it.
Food and drinks were outstanding. Service was a little slow, but restaurant was busy and the industry is still recovering from COVID, so that's to be expected.
Definitely recommend and will return.
Best service and best meal possible!. A+ on every thing! Patricia.
We come to Magnolias frequently but this time we were disappointed with the Mother’s Day meal. The lobster bisque was bland and both main courses of filet mignon and eggs Benedict were not even warm. For the price it was subpar. We assume it was an off day and will return based on many prior great meals.
The special menu for Mother's Day was exceptional. There were a number of choices, all of them seemed to very tasty and the two that my wife and I chose were outstanding!!
Ambiance and server, Brandon, were excellent. Ordered the Duck entree, which was too sweet for my liking. Scallop entree was excellent.
We love this place and go there for many family events and are always happy with everything. We will be back again soon.
I had heard about Magnolias from a friend and decided to try it for my sister’s birthday. Nice ambiance but dinner left a little to be desired. The food was lackluster except for the fried green tomatoes appetizer, I could have eaten a whole plate of those.
My favorite restaurant in Northern Virginia. Fantastic!
It was a great meal on a terrific spring night. The halibut special was delicious and the key lime tart for dessert was a perfect ending to the meal.
Everything was excellent!
Always consistent. And this past week we had Mussels, large, very tender with a delicate wine sauce.
Very pleasant atmosphere and if you like oysters, try the Oyster Po Boy sandwich, it's delish.
The service was good, and the food was great. But there's not much light in the place and, in the summer, it's kind of a gloomy spot for dinner.
Old mill interiors, high ceilings and subdued lighting were just a bonus to the excellent food and service.
Loved our date night at Magnolias at the Mill! It was our first timing dining there. Both the food and service were excellent. Will definitely return.
The waiter was not interested in our table. Had to ask other wait staff to get him for ordering. We have been there many times and the place hax gone downhill. Will not return. I can buy lunch for 4 people for well under $275,00 dollars and be waited on properly.
Enjoyed delicious butternut squash ravioli and some local Virginia Cabernet Franc. But was a little disappointed not to see more local wine on the menu, especially from Loudoun County... being that this is a farm to table restaurant. Service was excellent though!
Love Magnolias! It's our GO TO place! The outside patio is lovely, the food is delicious, and the service is great. This is a great place to enjoy family and friends.
Very lovely patio dining with excellent food and service
This is a very nice restaurant. The wine list was extensive - including local wines -; the food was good and the service was excellent. This is a good place to go for a special occasion.
We enjoyed a nice Sunday brunch at 11:00 am though our reservation said 11:30 at opentable. everyone was nice, even though they were short staffed that day.
Definitely make reservations. The service was beyond expectation. The food was exceptional and the local wine was wonderful. Atmosphere made our anniversary dinner even more special. If you can save room for dessert! Overall 10 out of 10. We will be going back.
Very good food and excellent service by Matt, our waiter.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The food was superb. Ambiance was great. However, the service was a bit off. We had to ask twice for a lemon for a drink and when they boxed our meal to go home, only half of what was left made it to the box. Not huge issues, but you expect to leave with what you paid for.
Great restaurant. Very nice wine list but staff did not know about the wines, except red and white.
Great menu and with lots of options. Lots of microbrews no regular domestics.
Great food, attentive service and a fun vibe! Highly recommended!
Great service good food at a somewhat reasonable price
As always a great place to dine.
Shouldn't have to wait until 8:30 for a table reserved for 8:00......need to do a better job timing the reservations. We were not asked our preferred doneness of the burgers we ordered; granted, we forgot to make a request, but the staff should never assume a preference. Overall, it was a very nice evening.
Magnolia is wonderful - we got fried green tomatoes, pasta, a burger, shrimp and grits and the steak salad at our table and everyone loved everything. Elvia, our server (if I’ve spelled correctly) was wonderful too. She had the entire room but we never felt neglected. Magnolia is a great spot!
Amazing food and service. Beautiful indoor space and great outdoor patio. A MUST in Loudon County
We were seated right next to the outside exit. Everyone walked right behind us without masks to leave out. They were a lot of avail tables out there. The food was okay! Our waiter was great!
