Excellent food, service, ambience. Our third time here and every time has been enjoyable and pleasant. This is now one of our "go-to" places!!!
Food was cold or soggy My wife's mash potatoes are better
This was an once and done restuarant
We had an excellent meal with even better service.
Food and service is always exceptional. Beautiful building and love all of the preserved wood and mechanisms of the mill.
Amazing French Onion soup! Everything was delicious. Great service
Excellent food, wonderful service and great value. Highly recommend.
My first visit , everything was excellent. The staff was very nice and accomodating. I will visit again.
Magnolias was our favorite restaurant for a long time. The past couple of visits have not been as great. Our food was not hot when arrived. Toast was hard as if it sat under a lamp for a while. And food did take a long time to come out, which explains why it was cold.
My review must be longer than my simple one word description “delightful”
Sunday brunch was delicious! We had the blueberry French toast and Eggs Benedict and loved each one.
Great quiet and comfortable atmosphere in a natural setting. Great for foodies. In general, the service is great and in particular Angie is a spectacular knowledgeable server.
Food is excellent and service is friendly. One of our favorite places to eat.
As always, delicious food and flawless service.
Cute little place. Very pricey, but was overall very good. We will definitely be going back.
Fabulous evening! beautiful atompshere and waitress was very patient and friendly— food was spectacular and we enjoyed the wine and it was our 16th anniversary and with panademic going on we haven’t gone out since summer to eat in any restaurants— we were nervous but protocols was great everything was clean we felt safe.
Excellent food quality and service! We celebrated New Year’s Day.
The New year's Eve special menu was overpriced and it certainly did not deliver. The lobster bisque was horrid. It was brown and salty. The $90 lamb was served raw. Dessert was three tablespoons of Costco like chocolate puffs. Service was slow and to top it all off we were seated in the back in a cafeteria like room that was brightly lit. The menu looked so promising on the website (without the prices posted) but all the dishes were over hyped and overpriced, $70 for gnocchi is ridiculous. I have eaten here many times and if I could have just had the regular menu it might have been fine. Well, if we were actually seated in the dining room and not the cafeteria room. I still can't believe we got ripped off for $180 for dinner for two. I will never eat a special meal at Magnolia's again. The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth for the new year.
Excellent fare. We had the New Years Eve menu. Highly recommend. Will return.
Service and food was excellent as always. Magnolias never disappoints, it's always superb. Nice menu selection of main dishes, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. Specials are always that, special. Good wine list as well. Great place, highly recommend it.
Good social distancing of tables, good food, great server, great facility.
Always great food and a good selection of wines.
Food was great..had to return one steak as it was over cooked. Not sure if our waiter was new, but just a few tweaks would have made service better. Faster acknowledgement, a manager stopping by to check in, should also be implemented. But enjoyed a family dinner for Christmas and to celebrate the end of 2020.
Outstanding experience in their special room upstairs. Food was great as was the service!
Great place ! Awesome food and service. Beautiful décor. Music not so good.
Went to celebrate my boyfriend’s accomplishments. Dinner and service were amazing and it was just what we needed to celebrate!
Great choice for a really good meal
Everything was wonderful! Thank you!
** We’ll be back!
Best food, best service...very nice place. Exceeded expectations!
Wonderful service and food. Please support this local restaurant.
We lived in Brunswick for 4.5 years and never found this place until I was traveling back to Virginia for work this past week. I am sad it took us this long. The food was very good. The kids menu is good but my girls do not recommend the mac and cheese as they thought it was a little bland. The rest of the food was very good though. I would definitely go back if I still lived there.
Great food and excellent service. This was a Birthday dinner and it could not have been better!
Will always be a favorite place for my wife and I to go on date night. It never let's us down.
First timers and will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying other menu items.
Everything was excellent. We were celebrating our sons 21st birthday and were seated in one of the "bin" rooms and it was perfectly private for the occasion. Food was great, a little pricey but worth it overall.
We love Maggie’s! The food is always good and their beer selection is wonderful!
Magnolia’s is the perfect place for a date night, family dinner or Sunday brunch. While a bit pricey, the freshness and local-ness of the ingredients make it worth every penny. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is absolutely delicious including their signature drinks (they also have a draft root beer that is amazing!). Only the wine selection is overpriced, which is to be expected and easily avoided if so desired. I happily recommend Magnolia’s to anyone who’s making the trip or spending the day in the beautiful Purcellville area.
We were outside and the heaters worked great! Thank you
