Very nice small restaurant. Waiter checked on us numerous times and accomodated what we asked for. Quiet night but food was excellent. Good taste and prepared nice.

A hidden Gem in Flushing.

In a sea of Asian eateries, this is an excellent Italian spot with well above average comfort and inside a hotel. Have returned several times and while they lack bar expertise, the food is well above average.

Try the cold antipasto and the fillet and their pastas...excellent!

A real gem. They need to promote the spot. They need MORE italian eateries in the neightborhood. These people are inside the hotel and their cooking is EXCELLENT!

The steaks, the lasagne, the cold cut antipasto...all of them delicious and reasonably priced, even cheap for some of their dishes. Street parking, but there is also an indoor garage next door. We have been here 4 or 5 times, but always found parking within a block or so.

The family really enjoyed the food, the flavors and the convenience. The service is good, their bar seems to need a boost but you will NOT leave here disappointed.

The service was good. The food was not fresh. You can taste that the calamari and the shrimp in the linguine were old. The spaghetti and meatball was okay.

Magna is truly a find- a vert good Italian restaurant in a sea of Asian restaurants that is downtown Flushing. And it's only one block from Flushing Town Hall. The first thing to strike me was the amount of room between the tables. How often have upon leaving have you had to climb out of your seat, hoping the butcher paper and salt & pepper remain on the table next to you.

The menu offered basically Italian dishes but with a twist. The pasta fagioli, chicken Marsala, spinach salad were all very good. The service was pleasant but a little slow- it appeared as if they may have been short a server.

My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant on a whim. Although we were celebrating our seven year anniversary, we didn’t have anything planned. We decided to look up restaurants on open table, and this restaurant was near by and had good reviews. We decided to try it out and we were impressed! We had a wonderful time! The service was top notch, the food was delicious, especially the dessert, and the margarita hit the spot!

Amazing food. Who knew that this gem was here.

Every dish we tried was on point. This neightborhood has tons of Asian eateries, so it is so needed.

They need to advertise more I think. Most people dont know this gem is here. They need to train more drinks, since this is their main weakness. Parking is tricky in the neightborhood, but they do have a lot in the hotel or next door.

If you are the neightborhood, please make it a stop, you wont regret it.

First time at restaurant. Wait staff appeared new and not familiar with menu, causing getting a dish that i would not have ordered if properly described. That said meal wasn't bad and offered discount on the choice. Will go back and give another try.

We had concert tickets and made a reservation for dinner 2 hours prior thinking this was ample time. Even though the restaurant wasn't full (not too big to begin with), we were seated and proceeded to wait. Finally got some water, but waited for drink order to be placed, dinner order to be placed, and kept being told by the limited staff that someone called in sick so they were really busy. Sorry.....not my problem, then don't accept any more reservations! Took multiple trips by us going up to the waiter, and them coming to us, to find out they can't make a martini tonight. Finally order a bottle of wine, wait again to get it open and served. Finally place dinner orders, get those, never received any bread although every other table did. We finally just paid and left. Food was decent enough, just couldn't enjoy with the delays.

This Italian restaurant looks very unassuming but the food and service was phenomenonal! The pasta was fresh, the sauces (or gravy) were fantastic! We stumbled across this and we're so glad we did. Definitely coming back!

I had read reviews on Magna and decided I needed to try it. It looks simple from the outside, but inside is spacious and lovely. The service was good and the food delicious. Great apps, great pasta dishes, and meat and poultry. Something for every lover of Italian cuisine. Reasonably priced too. We will be back for sure.
