Went for my daughter’s birthday. Food was delicious, but the atmosphere and service was disappointing. Staff management was loud and distracting. Wait staff was slow and inattentive. For the upscale price I was disappointed. If this was an Applebee’s or Chili’s, I wouldn’t have been concerned.

Rick was our server and he was phenomenal. Very attentive and personable, my dad and I stopped in after snow shoeing Stuart Falls and we’re exhausted and needed a nice little reward. Thank you Rick!

Food was tasty, service was good and nice to hear a bit live music while eat. Felt a tiny bit rushed . The server asked if I wanted desert as I was eating my meal and had not finished even half. Staff always respectful and polite .

Steak was supposed to be medium rare and it came out medium well. Service was slow. Waitress was friendly though. There was some sort of children’s party happening in the lower level so the noise from that echoed through restaurant. Tried the chocolate cake. It was more of a fudgy texture and tasted exactly like a cosmic brownie. I probably won’t return. I just expect more at that price point.

We loved the buffet! The last Friday of every month they do a seafood and prime rib buffet. The food was amazing, the ambience was excellent and the service was top notch. Really loved the desserts too. Would highly recommend.

We love going to Magleby's. Their Buffet was wonderful, with good chicken, seafood and Prime Rib options. The Cholate cake is always excellent. So was the lemon cake, bread pudding and carrot cake.

The food and service were good. I ordered a soup and sandwich. The soup was more of a tomato paste consistency and cold. There was a crouton for the soup served on a separate plate. A little odd. The pre-meal bread rolls were tasty. We had a nice Valentine's lunch. The decor is a little strange; a historic building with classical columns and art. It doesn't feel private or intimate, and the restaurant was cold. People had their coats on. Perhaps a votive on the table or some music would have made it feel more comfortable. It would have been nice for there to be some Valentine's touch to the menu. All in all, it was an ok experience. Not bad, but not super.

Arrived on time(5:30p) for Valentines dinner (Feb13th). Checked in with 3 ladies running the front check in. Told it would be a minute. Sat by the front door. Noticed restaurant pretty empty at this point. Observed three other couples enter “after us” come through the door and get seated before us. Went up to check in with staff, finally seated in a downstairs corner, at 5:55p. We had great experiences in the past there at Magelby’s, that is why we made the hour drive down to Springville from Salt Lake City to celebrate Valentines Day. The experience was just “meh” to say the least. Staff was very disoriented and confused. Meal was not the quality we remember Magelby’s was. Was served the wrong food, noticed the same for the table next to us. Was given the wrong check as well when finished. Beautiful ambience there, but ruined by what seemed like a bunch of high schoolers that don’t really care. I’m so sorry Magleby’s, we will not be returning any time soon. I am a local foodie on Instagram and was excited to highlight Magleby’s to my followers. I decided not to share on social media at this time. Sorry. Magelby’s is an absolute GEM there in Springville. Please take this feedback as it is intended, to make your business better. Keeping it 100% real.

Magleby's is a great place for a really tasty meal, a bit more expensive than most places, but a great value anyway. I had the blackened salmon, and others had the filet medallions, and while the main parts were great, even the sides with them (mashed potatoes, vegetables, etc.) were amazing. Their chef(s) is/are doing great work. Their menu has clearly-marked Gluten Free (GF) items, which is also important to us. Our server was also great at checking in enough, not too much, keeping drinks full, etc.

Was not impressed with un timely service! Salads were good, steaks weren’t a good grade as lacked natural flavor. Steamed vegetables were great. Wine, tried two different bottles of Chardonnays, both had a spoiled taste!! Most disappointing!! Restaurant is off my list. Was first time.

It was a cool experience but my food came cold which was a bummer. They also didn’t ask us how we wanted our steak (im guessing because we were younger). It came pretty rare. otherwise everything was great and our server checked on us many times and was super nice.

Love the buffet, we visit once a month, sometimes twice! Everyone we’ve brought or told about have really enjoyed the experience as well. My husband loves the roast and the shrimp, yesterday the fish and chips was delicious! Our daughter said it’s the nicest dining experience she’s had anywhere. We come anytime just not on buffet days. Never had a bad meal!

It was great! Food, service, ambience, great live music! Perfect date. We treated a young couple to dinner that just announced their engagement and then gave them a gift card to return. We hope Magleby's becomes a romantic dinner date preference for them in the future as it is for us. It's just right for all ages! By the way, while there, we saw friends celebrating a birthday by having dinner at Magleby's. It's just a special place to go. THANKS!

We had reservations for 6:30pm. We were not seated until 6:50. The waitress was great she did everything she could. We did not get done with eating due to all the waiting until 9:30. It was a good thing that we didn't have anything planned for after dinner. The cost of the dinner was crazy. I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu and my husband got the special. We ordered 1 appetizer, I had a soda and my husband had water. The total for our meal was over $100. I get that prices have risen after COVID, but holy cow!!!! $110 for 2 people. Food is good but not at that price.

When we come to visit our BYU kids we always make sure to have one meal at Magleby’s. They catered their weddings and always have consistently good food. I always have the Top Sirlojn Medallions. The meat was so tender I could actually and literally cut it with a fork. It seemed a bit noisy but the live music is always nice.
