Magleby's elegant dining room has a cascading waterfall, bone china, audio visual, and a historic feel that give you the fine dining experience you’ve been searching for. It also has a wonderful private room for 20-120 guests.
Date night with three couples. We had a great night and I always enjoy coming to the maglebys restaurant. We really enjoy the reservations and prompt seating. As well as fantastic food!
In entering the establishment we were quite impressed but as our experience moved forward we were more and more disappointing. We ordered our food and one of our orders was no longer available, which is fine we understand that happens. So they made they went right back and and changed the order. The server then came out with only one plate and when we mentioned there should be a second he was confused thinking that there should only be one meal... but there were two of us. We waited but started getting hungry so we started the first plate that came out and the second didn't come out till the first plate was done. We then proceeded to eat the second plate as we shared the first we shared the second. But unfortunately both plates were very, and I mean very bland. There was what seemed to be no flavor what so ever and very unsatisfying. Throughout this experience out waiter didn't check on us once. We were low or nearly out of water. Which is very poor service! Then to top off the night of a very unsatisfying and quite frustrating evening we were appalled at the bill. It was not worth the price that we were charged. Needless to say, our first time was our last.
Overall we felt that for the money the quality of the food was a little lacking on the meat. It was tough and not what we would expect at those kind of prices.
had a wonderful evening with old friends visiting from out of state
Magleby's a great place. The staff is really kind and service oriented. You feel special when you go in the restaurant. My wife also appreciate the food and goodies. We go often the that restaurant.
Worst steak ever. I got the New York cut. They kitchen and server did their best to accommodate my dietary needs, which was very appreciated. Unfortunately the chief has no idea how to cook a steak. The cut was of poor grade (cheap). I can do 100x better with a hot skillet, salt and pepper. Dave Ramsey has a youtube video; I recommend you watch it. The service was good. Did a great job with social distancing. They did everything right except cook me a tasty meal. My wife even commented on our way out, that was the biggest waste of $80.00. Sizzler puts this place to shame. I would never order a steak from them either. At least their price is appropriate for the product. I am sorry that I can never return.
I am amazed you are still in business. Good luck
We came on NYE and had a delightful evening. The staff, waitress and everyone was friendly and pleasant. Thw breadsticks were hot and fresh. The prime rib sandwich was delicious and the wedge salad was so good with plenty of bacon and toppings. The buttermilk pie was soooooo good! We also got my fav, the chocolate cake. The waitress was attentive and brought everything we needed on time and always filled my soda. The singer made the ambiance so enjoyable and he was a really really good singer. Everyone was spread enough apart for Covid specifications. We will definitely come back!
Great place to be for any special occasion. Delicious food and great service!
Halibut, ribeye, crab legs, chocolate cake and the side dishes and salads were all delicious. Our server was attentive, and we appreciated the socially distanced tables.
We enjoyed a wonderful family meal together and appreciate Magleby‘s being open and ready to service. The only surprise we had was we asked what the special was but failed to ask what the price was and we were shocked at how much the special turned out to be. Maybe just as a suggestion we could ask the waitresses to give us the price of the special when she tells us what the special is. Thanks for a great evening.
We really enjoy dining at Magleby’s for special occasions or No Reason needed at all! Always fine dining!!!
Best Chocolate Cake ever at reasonable price to take home. It’s so rich & moist that I can serve 8 people easily for $10. or free for birthday.
I always love Magleby's--great service, wonderful food, and fun live entertainment on the weekends.
We went to Magelby’s for the first time and loved it. I was very comfortable with the spacing of the tables and that everyone was wearing masks. Food was amazing!!!!
Great ambiance. Good food. A little on the pricey side for lunch. $50 for (2) including tip.
Great place. Nice people. Wonderful food! I must go there again as soon as possible!
Magleby's catered my wedding and it was absolutely amazing. The catering staff was incredibly professional and easy to work with. The food was great and the cake was even better. Karen took extra time with us to make sure we were confident for our big day. They drove from Springville to Salt Lake City to ensure a wonderful event. I would whole-heartedly recommend them to newly engaged couples who are planning their weddings.
we came here for our anniversary dinner and service was fantastic and our food was fast and hot!! we were in and out in less than an hour but we didn’t feel like we were rushed out of there! we definitely will be coming back!
This place is fantastic. Underrated for sure. Meals are on the pricey side for diner so we go for dates or special occasions.
We took my sister and her husband here for their first time. My brother in law said it was his new favorite place in Utah county.
Everything was perfect. The singers were amazing and our waitress was super attentive.
Very good service with reasonable prices for quality food. Huge servings...large enough to split.
Would definitely recommend!
Slow, service from waiter and food from kitchen was slower. Of our 4 meals, 2 where excellent (pasta dishes) 1 average (seafood) and 1 poor (tough chewy meat). Our first visit and likely last for an upscale experience.
We had booked a reservation a couple days in advance. Upon arrival the hostess was unable to find our booking even though we had our confirmation emails and texts. The hostess ended up seating us anyway. We were sat in what appeared to be a banquet room. We had two adults and two young children in our group, So we are used to a loud atmosphere. The area we were seated in was RIDICULOUSLY noisy. My husband and I couldn’t even have a conversation. When our waiter came to the table he brought us all ice waters and bread. The bread was hot and tasty. Then he asked us if we were ready to order. We then had to ask what the daily specials were which he just read off of a piece of paper. The waiter never asked us if we wanted any soft drinks, lemonades, or anything. So we ordered the mozzarella chips, Parmesan chicken, Penne Rosa, and kids Mac and cheese. I’ll start with the mozzarella chips. They arrived hot. They tasted fine. Nothing special here. Next, the pastas. All of our pastas were hot. The Parmesan chicken pasta and penne Rosa were both lacking in the sauce department. They were both dry and bland. The kids Mac and cheese was good. It was cheesy and gooey. My toddler wouldn’t eat it because it had “green things” which were just herbs. But I ended up eating some of it because it was way better than mine. The chicken on the Parmesan chicken did not seem very fresh. It wasn’t very warm and it was dry. It just seemed like it had been sitting for a little while.
Overall the service wasn’t good and the food wasn’t good, especially for the price. If you’re thinking about trying this restaurant just know I wouldn’t. It was a waste of time on our vacation. We all left unhappy and hungry.
Great spot, excellent and friendly service, and a fun, relaxing ambience. The cool type of place to take friends that visit from out of town. Will certainly be a frequently visited locale for me and my family.
We have a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mother's 86th birthday. Our waitress, Mary, was absolutely the best - friendly, helpful, and attentive. The portions were generous and delicious. We ordered the chocolate cake for dessert and Mary brought it to our table and helped to light the candles we had brought. We are glad we ventured here to celebrate Mom's birthday. Everything was perfect!
Good food but not for the price. Waitress told us wrong prices which didn't help when we got the bill.
Catering was good in the past.
The service was slow and inattentive. The food was great.
Service and food was great. A place to go for special occations.
Over all a good place for lunch. I can't rated dinner. But we really enjoyed the lunch time.
We really appreciate your efforts to provide great customer service. The kitchen made a mistake and our appetizer was late coming out. You did everything right to make up for the problem. We loved the food! We didn't really like our table because it was right by the kitchen. I felt like it was in a bad position.
The waitress and manager offered our appetizer for free and gave us a free dessert. That was above and beyond! Thank you very much!!!
Paid alot of money for the worst steak I have ever had, horrible taste and very tuff. The vegetables were raw barely even warm. Will never eat there again.
A wonderful restaurant for a evening out with your special someone. Great entrees and amazing desserts.
This is one of our favorite places to meet friends for dinner. The location is convenient, there is ample, close parking, the ambiance is excellent as well as the service. The food is great, and there is a good selection on the menu.
We were celebrating our anniversary and it was delicious!!! Worth the hour drive!
Good food, but a small menu. There was a live singer the night we went so was a little louder than most nights probably. Over all good place for a nice lunch or dinner.
The service was great and the food delicious!! My daughter thought the alfredo sauce could have a little more flavor and my husband said the same about the prime rib...both were good but missing a little extra flavor. All in all though, it was great!:)
Hi, I love your food. I wish you had more choices for sandwiches in the evening. I love chicken sandwiches or BLTs. I like red meat, but two of your three choices for sandwiches were for red meat. Too much. And I don't like turkey.
I will be back.
My husband and I ate at Magleby's in Springville to celebrate a 10 year anniversary. We started out enjoying the delicious warm rolls that were served quickly. Next we were served our dinner salads with greens that were a bit wilted and nothing really memorable about the salad which could easily be replicated at home with fresher vegetables. Then the main dish. I ordered the halibut and my husband ordered the chicken marsala. We both really enjoyed the main dishes. My husband especially liked the mashed potatoes. Some of my vegetables were a bit mushy and some too crisp. Both the fish, embellished with almonds, and the tarter sauce were quite tasty. We were a bit full to try any of the delicious-sounding desserts. All in all we enjoyed dinner with great service but expected more in the food department for $60 for 2.
I wish that the people coming in to eat would wear a mask
Always reliably great food and service. Been going to maglebys for 25 + years.
Our server Maria was great!
What a beautiful venue and a delicious meal! I will definitely be coming back again.
