Great authentic food from Lebanon - not the phony stuff. Great tasting just like Grandma used to make from the old country. We had the Magical Mezza - took some of it home for lunch the next day. The only item we don't care for are the potatoes - too spicy! Next time we will ask to replace it with another helping of Tabouleh.
We love Magic Lamp Grill and will keep coming back!
Love the food, the ambience and the service. My first time and I had a positive and great experience
First timers. Have seen the good reviews and always seems to be a good crowd. Food was very good. Very nice little restaurant. We will definitely be going back. They don't serve alcohol so next time will bring a bottle of wine along.
We wanted to sample the Lebonese cuisine so we ordered the Prince Mezza for two with Kabobs. It was very filling and good. We also had the Spicy Kafta and the Dip Combo Platter. We finished off with incredible desserts and Turkish coffee. Wonderful!
This restaurant lost their liquor license. We sat down and asked for a glass of wine and were disappointed to learn that they don't have wine and beer anymore. The table next to us had a bottle of wine on the table but we were told they brought it themselves.
We were about 10 minutes behind our reservation time and we called and they said no problem. They also met our request for booth seating and made us feel like VIPs. Our kids loved it thank you staff
One of the best middle Easter's restaurants around. Great atmosphere and really good food. Good service and prices are reasonable. I will be back.
Best service and food
First time at the Magic Lamp - loved it! Delicious, good-size portions, and great service.
Very good Mediterranean food. Hummus and baba ganoush are both delicious as are chicken and mixed grill schwarma.
Magic Lamp had one of their best tables reserved for us when we arrived. The service was prompt and the food was delicious.
Food was very good as usual, but I think there was only one server working the entire restaurant on a Saturday night, so very slow service. Also, they lost their License to serve Beer and Wine, and you cannot BYOB/W. we wonder if they will stay in business...
Great service. Amazing food like always. Waitress was really nice as well as the rest of the staff.
Great service . Delicious food , huge portions. Great atmosphere. Definitely will return!!!!
Great place. Authentic Arabic/Lebanese cuisine with a very good menu selection. Serving sizes might seem to be small, but it all adds up. For a 2-person selection (they have 2 options to choose from), you'll end up eating the leftovers for a day or two after. Not overly pricey, a very fitting decor, the service is prompt and largely non-invasive, the noise level is moderate to low. They do not have private booths though. All in all, it is as authentic as they come, the staff is friendly and the food is awesome. Highly recommended.
We were super bummed to find out that the restaurant lost their liquor license. We couldn't open our bottle of wine or buy anything.
The day we went in, they were not serving the liquor. That was a bummer and I wish they should have forefathers patrons before seating them. Don't most people expect a good drink on a Saturday night?
I feel every ethnic food place should welcome patrons with brief introduction of their speciality and make recommendations.
Hosts are very polite and courteous.
No alcohol sales. Lost their license
We enjoyed our lunch with my fam at Magic Lamp Grill, the service is fast, friendly and the food are fresh. We will be there again next time.
Food and service is always fantastic! The hot pita bread right out of the oven, yummy.
I really enjoyed the food, I felt as though the service was outstanding and that they were very concerned about making sure that we enjoyed every aspect of our meal.
I hadn't been to Magic Lamp in quite a few months .. the food tasted different kind of plain. It took a while before we had a server come and offer us drinks and then after they hardly ever came to our table. I'm sad that my experience was nothing like I've had before.
Our server, Aladin was fantastic! Very nice dinner.
As usual we walked out with doggie bags! The food is so good and the portions are great. It is the best Lebanese food in town. Always great service, great food and great value.
Took my wife there for her birthday at her request. We were not disappointed. Overall very good experience. No deficiencies noted.
Wonderful service, wonderful salmon
Been a regular fan and customer.
Our server was Junior and he was attentive and thoughtful and accommodated my gluten free friend. The food is always delicious and Magic Lamp is the best Lebanese restaurant on the block. Appetizers see a must...my favs are the arnabeet (fried cauliflower) and spicy potatoes. My go-to main dish is the Magic Lamp combo!
It appears they've changed ownership. The uniforms, people & food have changed. The staff was nice but very slow.
The food was not very good. We ordered lamb chops that were overlooked. The chicken schwarma was bland.
Don't think we'll be back
one of our favorite restaurants. The food is delicious
Great food! Fun staff and amazing place. A little tight on space.
The food was excellent and the staff was fabulous. Exceptional value, very generous portions and you will be over served with service!
The salmon and the fabulous service!
And the ambience.
This was the first time I ate here and I will definitely return when I am in the area. The food was fantastic and it was a lot of food for a lunch portion. The service was great and it was an overall great dining experience.
Excellent food, taste as anticipated, price is right, place needs air conditioning, seems theirs has been broken for some time, as luck would have it, on this day outside temps over 105F
The service was beautiful, friendly, professional and prompt.
It was good here. I would go back and try something new even though we enjoyed our meal! Nice staff and great location.
Every time I come here, I wonder why I don't come more often! The food is amazing and the service is always great!
We had dinner at the Magic Lamp celebrating my wife's birthday. We drove in from Whittier, CA looking to enjoy Lebanese food and must say it was all delicious. We will return with family and friends in the future....Great Choice
In Long Beach for a vacation from the East Coast and always look for a Mediterranean restaurant whenever we travel. So glad we found The Magic Grill. Excellent menu and service. My husband had the chicken kabob and appreciated the flavor and the moistness. (He often complains that chicken is dry -- not here!) I had the grilled trout -- very tasty. Excellent soup and vegetables too.
