Maggiano's - Willow Bend Ratings and Reviews
Went to have a dinner on our son's 12th birthday. Added comments in the reservation also and told the server that we are celebrating and no one paid any attention. No cake, no candle, no attention :(. Just average service. Now planning to take the family to North Italia at Legacy West this Friday again to "celebrate".
We were one of the first parties to arrive for Sunday brunch and were celebrating my birthday. Our server was great, but service from the kitchen was not. While we waited for our food to arrive we watched other parties around us, who came in after us, get their food. Finally, one of the chefs came out and told us he was "the idiot" (his words, not mine) who dropped my pancakes on the floor and they were being re-made, which took quite awhile. When our food finally arrived, my husband's meal was cold. Obviously, his entree was sitting in the back while mine was being re-made. When we complained, at first they tried to say that the salmon was cold, but we told the server everything on the plate was cold. I ended up eating my meal, while his was being re-made. I have to say that the portion sizes of the entrees did not match their prices. We'll probably just stick to dinner here in the future.
Maggianos Restaurant never disappoints. I always go to the Willow Bend location where Chef William is an OUTSTANDING Chef. He comes to your table to greet you and find out if you have any allergies or concerns about the menu options.
We had the privilege of being served by a gentleman named "Kelly Vander." His knowledge and recommendations on the Wine list, menu selection and deserts were all SPOT-on! Checked on us to make sure everything was fine and made us feel very comfortable.
Thank you "Kelly Vander" for a job well done during our visit and we look forward to seeing you again...! Happy New Year!
Food was good. Spinach/artichoke appetizer served piping hot. Delicious. Scampi was cel lent with over 20 shrimp. Service was good. Our waiter was also serving 2 large parties. If you can get a booth, do it. There are too many tables on the floor causing a clausterphobic feeling. Overall, we will be back. Next time will request a booth
The food was wonderful as always and thought it would be a great place for my daughter and I to take my husband for his birthday. He doesn't like fanfare when it comes to his special day but the birthday cookies / plate with little candle is always a nice treat.
While the food continues to impress, the service has become decidedly less impressive. The goal seemed to turn tables instead of supporting the meal and time the guests are at the table. When booking a larger group, please specify a more experienced server to handle your needs. Our server had too many large groups meaning slower response to needs. Our bread arrived only moments before our meals, leaving a lengthy time of wait and see. No management was evident during the meal on either floor. This lack of supervision may be contributing to an average experience
Party of four.
The service was horrible, which took us back as we never had such bad service there in the past.
Our drink order was wrong, yet corrected.
The server didn't bring us bread with the dipping olive oil to snack on.
We ordered salads, served salads that wasn't what was ordered...at first we thought he just served the salads to the wrong person and we would just would exchange with one another....but no he brought out wrong salads. He, the server, could not be found to send back.
Then another server came with the main entrees, no time eat the wrong served salads because the hot main entree dishes were served. We needed to eat the main entrees, while hot.
We had to repeatedly ask for bread. Finally, over halfway through our main entrees the server brought us plates with dipping oil, but no bread. Later came with a basket of bread when basically it was time for dessert.
After the experience, we decided not to order dessert for our anniversary treat, we had enough with the service. We went elsewhere for dessert and coffee.
The server definitely needs to be pulled and participate in additional training. Poor, poor customer service. It will be awhile before we return.
Front Desk are soooooo RUDE. We went there December 29 like around 6.. Nd that balck girl with curly short hair and that blonde girl with straight hair was the rudest person ive ever met in my life.. They dont know how to smile and i have an 8 month old baby and the black girl i believe her name is ariana or arina said “ you cannot bring that stroller ( with her finger pointing on me ) and she raises her eyebrows. And they messed up with our reservation and she just let us stand there without saying anything , so we went there and asked and she just said ill let you know if we have available and the blonde girl shows a sarcastic smaile... We always order from maggianos anf the food was great but we will never go back there again because of the poor service. To both of you if you dont like your job just Quit. You are working as a customer service you should learn how to put smile on your face and respect!
Reserved for a party of 9 then we’re seated at a table of 8 - an awkward “didn’t you expect me?” Came-up. We asked for a slice of cake w/ birthday candle and were told no - we only do cookies! I called before to request one slice of cake - our server wanted to know the name of who I spoke with and seemed to imply that the availability of a slice of cake was entirely up to his manager! Too loud to talk to your immediate neighbor and a complimentary pasta dish to take home never appeared. Lemon cookies were dry and chalky.
None the less, we tipped 20 percent
