Too many screaming children
I am understanding that the wait was long because it was Valentines Day Weekend. However, I was not impressed this time with the food. The lasagna tasted like it came out of frozen dinner box. It was not what I expected. I would have to try something else next time to really see their food quality. The spinach artichoke bread slices were extremely crunchy, they hurt to even bite them. However, maybe they were just overwhelmed with the amount of customers. Id like to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Our service was great, food was good and we had an enjoyable time.
A great place. Despite the cost, this restaurant has a relatively casual atmosphere. Many families were in attendance, which raised the ambient noise level a bit, but not overwhelmingly so. The food is always top-notch and customers receive the attentive service one expects for a restaurant of this caliber. It is "No Biggie" but I rated the "Service" a 4 because I had to send a beverage back to the bartender to get the correct drink.
The experience was overall great! The server was helpful and the food came out pretty quick. The ambience was good and I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
This was, by far, the worst Maggiano's I've ever been to. The staff seemed burdened and irritated by every request. We were initially seated at a table directly in the path of the wait staff, despite requesting a booth when we made our reservation. After we were reluctantly moved, our waiter brought us no oil/cheese etc with our bread, explained nothing about the menu, and treated every question like an ordeal to answer. Eventually, our waiter took our order. My girlfriend ordered a specialty pasta, which was supposed to come with a second specialty or classic pasta to go -- however, the waiter never offered this. I inquired about it twice; once when the food was brought out and once when the bill came. The first time I was told (by a new waiter) that I'd be given a second order of what she'd requested to-go. He then hurried off, clearly in a rush to end the conversation. The second time, when the bill came, our original waiter blatantly lied and claimed the only thing that could be taken to go as part of the special was the lasagna. It says this is untrue right on the menu! This was a transparent attempt to get us out faster, which we were happy to oblige to put an end to our disastrous dining experience.
The food itself was fine if a little bland and greasy. The service however was truly atrocious. This is NOT the only negative experience I've had in Tyson's Galleria, and I'm beginning to think the businesses in the area have an issue with racial bias. The service/hospitality industry is not right for everyone, and I'd advise anybody of colour give some careful consideration to spending your hard earned dollars in this area -- especially at Maggiano's.
Great service, Delicious food
Be prepared to wait! Worth it!
Good, not great. Order was incorrect and our appetizer came to the table after our entrees. I'll be trying a different restaurant next time we are in the mood for Italian.
When making the reservation I noted that I was dairy free. When they called to confirm the reservation they confirmed a guest was dairy free. The waiter who already got 2 parts of our order wrong (beverages and soup) said I needed to speak with the chef to order. The manager came over and helped me order. My meal came covered in cheese. I had to send it back and the rest of my party was done eating by the time I got mine. It was a real disappointment.
This visit was my wife and I annual Valentine's day dinner. Magganio's deliver again on a great meal and great experience!! Already looking forward to next years Valentine's day dinner here.
The staff at Maggiano’s is always pleasant and courteous. For the first time in 17 years of dining at Maggiano’s, my husband ordered something different. It was not to his liking and asked if he could order something else. The staff went above and beyond to make it right, even the Chef came out and chatted with us. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, but they went above to make sure my husband was happy with his new entree. Thank you Maggianos for 17 years of great service!
Great food and sat on Terrace-which we love as less noise.
Ended up sitting on the patio and loved it. Would always request that in the future. Way less noise and very comfy and cozy. We were very glad to have been seated there. Great evening!
Great food and service always a A plus in my book. I’ve been there over 25 times.
We sat out on the balcony which was quiet and we had great time with friends'
The food was good and they managed to cook everything perfectly but our waiter was hardly ever seen. My wife managed to get her cocktails which she says were very good but I never managed to get any water which was all I was drinking. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend it, just go on a night that is not busy.
Love the Restaurant. It was Valentine’s Day. The server made it great. I think his name is Miguel. We have had him before. My family likes him.
Valentine’s Day dinner, it was great!!
Booked for a birthday dinner which happens to be on Valentine’s Day. I put on the reservation that it was for a bday but it was never acknowledged. Food was fair, service was decent. I was trying to not eat a ton of carbs so I ordered chicken saltimbocca and it was not great. Daughters gnocchi with sausage was tasty though. Only bonus was that we had dinner for another night since some got one for today and tomorrow.
I took my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day. It was a great experience my server I think his name was Miguel was absolutely amazing. He knew the menu very well. Even recommended drinks that my girlfriend love. Would definitely go again.
Our server Joycelyn was great! She exceeded all of our expectations. She was very knowledgeable of the menu items and gave great suggestions. We love Maggiano’s and can’t wait to come back. Two managers stopped by to make sure everything was going well with our visit. Joe C also stopped by to check on us as well. Keep up the great work, Maggiano’s!
We love maggianos but today was a little disappointing. We waited 15mins for someone to serve us. The menu was fairly difficult to navigate (as half of it was hidden inside the menu) and our server did very little to help us with that. The food was great as usual but the cheesecake wasn’t set all the way. It had the texture of pudding.
Again, we are normally huge fans of Maggianos but today changed my mind.
This was the best shrimp oregganoto we have ever had at Maggiano’s. Chef Roni did a wonderful job and our server, Jose’ was excellent.
This was my first time at Maggiano’s in a very long time and it will be my last. Food was incredibly bland. It’s as if they intentionally did not season it so as not to offend anybody. I had veal Marsala and this is the first time I have ever had it with onions (a lot of onions) instead of chopped shallots. The sauce did not taste like traditional Marsala sauce (I doubt they even used wine). The mushrooms were tiny, whole and cooked to death - clearly not cooked in the sauce. The veal itself was decent - not at all chewy - but they also cooked this to death (seemed like they cooked it too fast in too high a heat) and each piece was cooked unevenly. Very disappointing. My son had chicken piccata which was also under seasoned and his side pasta was so over-cooked that it was sticking together making it inedible.
We were there when it was extremely busy and the waiters had too many tables assigned to them. They did the best they could. Food was excellent!
SERVICE IS BETTER AT MCDONALDS
Easy to make and update reservations via OpenTable. Good venue for meeting up with family members in town for another event. Food was good, too!
It Is always crowded for a reason....excellent Italian food in a lively setting with great service. Always professional service and handling of issues.
We where seated in a section but the Cafe Deluxe and the bar which was totally fine. They had twelve tables in the and one waiter. The services was terrible the managers tried to help but what they should have done is moved the staff around and gotten this poor waiter help. They failed him bad. I might think about going back in a year but no times sooner.
We were seated right away for our reservation. The server was great and the food and drinks kept rolling onto the table. Couldn’t have asked for a better time
The staff was awesome. We had a larger group than expected and they were quick to accommodate us. The GM made me feel very welcomed and appreciated as a guess. I loved the family style option!
The food was good, and that’s about the only thing that was good.....Service was verry slow, we asked for drinks at the same time as the appetizers, we got the appetizers but unfortunately we got our drinks at the same time as I got my cappuccino....and that was at the end of our dinner.....I won’t go back again.....Also we were seated at a table that was ovously for two.....we were a party of four extremely small table....The waiter was more interested in making cute conversation than getting our drinks.....and the worst part about is that he asked me twice what drink I had ordered I would say he forgot both times...
Miguel our server was absolutely amazing!! We will definitely be coming back
Fantastic food; warm server and fun atmosphere! Will return soon!
Dinner was great, as it usually is. We have dined at Maggiano’s numerous time as well as attended parties there. It has always been excellent.
