Maggiano's - Springfield
Great food and service like always
Family style was the perfect way to celebrate a teenager’s birthday! Our server was very attentive. Very pleased.
The Chocolate pancakes sounded more delicious then the presentations was. Food overall ok.
Suggest to cut the breakfast potatoes more, not a huge fan of the bulky look and cut.
Mimosa deal is nice. Tasted good.
Great food. Excellent vibe. Will be coming back. Well worth the drive.
It was nice. The waiter forgot our bread, but he was very kind and polite
Excellent service, food and hospitality but they sat a family with two crawling kids behind us and it got noisy fast. Should have sat small kids in a separate section of the place.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. Didn’t realize how much food you get with the family style meal! It’s overwhelmingly amazing. We still have some left. The wait staff are top notch and took care of us well.
Three adults and a baby, a situation where some restaurants give minimal service — not so for Maggianos. We were well and warmly taken care of, the food was hot and delicious, beverages refilled. We shared appetizers, too, and left pleasantly full — with our while second meals for later. Excellent value.
Food was good and service was excellent. There was a large group there doing a presentation which made it a bit noisy.
Everything was great. We were celebrating our birthday. Had a great time.
I'll send my friends back to Tyson, we were sited by a family with a little boy that was so loud and disruptive couldn't enjoy our meal or our time with our daughter visiting from Clemson, SC on spring break. Wife was so upset.
There are too many dining options in Northern VA to make Maggiano's a priority. Our dining experience was almost two hours long and my waiter only filled my tea glass once. I had to prompt him to refill my tea. The food was good, but not exceptional. It was a crowded Saturday night, so I am sure that was part of the problem. For the cost, you may consider eating at the Olive Garden.
Maggiano's is a very nice place to eat. Service and food were excellent; they accommodated our
request for a warmer location. Really liked our servers.
However, it was too noisy for a business meeting. Made it hard to talk to others at the table. We had a party of nine and I was having to yell when trying to talk to those more than two spaces away.
Again a great night out to dinner with the family. This time the service was a little under the norm. Not sure why but look the food is always awesome and the kids love it.
Chose Maggianos as we had a $25 certificate. Reserved a table via the OpenTable app and arrived a few minutes before our reservation time. Table was ready (almost) and, upon being led to it, it still needed to be wiped down--no problem. Seated and our waiter came by shortly thereafter with water and bread and provided us with drink and dinner menus and left us to peruse the offerings. Upon return (about five minutes later) took our drink orders and described to us the specials of the day, recommending one particular offering that also came with a take a pasta home with you special. We both ordered that special, figuring we would have dinners for the next few nights as well. The special was $25 so one was covered by the certificate. The special (shrimp and lobster cannelloni) was delicious, as were the wine pairings. Total for the two of us (minus the $25 certificate) and with tip was $68. Excellent value.
I’ve always enjoyed Maggiano’s. Our server Patrick is excellent and exceptional!
The specials are spectacular and delicious. I had the seafood cannelloni...yum yum yum!
I’ll continue to patronize Maggiano’s in Springfield due to its great times and great meals!
I am always impressed by how personalized the service is, even on a jam-packed weekend night. Thank you!!
Had a reservation for 7:45pm, but took another 30 minutes to actually get a table. Server was friendly, but service was slow. Food was tasty, but overpriced for amount of food you actually get. Ordered a flat bread pizza for the kids meal, but it was too crispy for a child. Also forgot to give us the dessert that came along with the kids meal. Atmosphere is nice and the booth was spacious.
The fried zucchini appetizer was not very good but the rest of the food was acceptable. We got our salads and within minutes our meals came making for a disappointing experience. I have long liked Maggiano’s having gone there many, many times for dinner but it seems in the last several times there’s a lot of variability in the service and food. I have not given up on Maggiano’s yet but I do not like spending $ for something that’s alright.
This was my first time at Maggiano's, at any location. I can tell you now that this will be my go to Italian Restaurant from now on. We had a table for 10 and all of us were first timer. Everything about the night was outstanding, food, drink and service, Danelle (i believe that was our server name), was so helpful, professional and courteous! The only issue was they said i had a 7pm reservation and clearly the Open Table was for 6pm. Don't know how that got enter in incorrectly. I will be back and i will recommend to everyone that if they want a great Italian meal to head over to Maggiano's.
Food is always delicious! Made a reservation ahead of time and was seated within 5 minutes, and Thankfully we did, people without reservation had a 60 minute wait. It is that good!
We celebrated my son’s Confirmation with family and friends.
Our server, Danielle was the best server we’ve ever had!!!
Definitely a great spot to grab a quick happy hour with friends or spend a birthday dinner. The quality of food doesn't even seem to be a franchise buisness.
We visited Maggiano for a corporate event. The food, service and ambiance were great. Everybody enjoyed themselves. The only thing that was negative was that even after having made the reservation in advance and calling them up multiple times to confirm, we had to wait for 30 mins to get our table.
my waitress was great, and the manager came to make sure we liked the food.
Great food, service could have been better, but not extremely disappointing. Enjoyed the food and the desserts.
Nice choice of brunch selections and good service! Everything was delicious. Also, it's hard to beat $2 mimosas!
AWESOME Food just normal dinner night. Not a big fan of pasta but I always make an exception for Maggiano’s when the husband wants to eat out I luv this place they want me luv pasta... Thxs
The food has always been good.
My issue is with the front of house. I made a reservation on OpenTable the day before without an issue. However, when we arrived about 10 minutes prior to our reservation, we were told that they were behind due to some "large" groups, and that it would be at least another 30 minutes until we were seated and that they would text us when our table was ready so we could walk around the mall.
We got our text 35 minutes after our reservation at which time we showed up at the counter and they said it would be a couple more minutes.
We proceeded to ask if it was normal to be 40 minutes behind on the reservations. The hostess stated that some "large" parties were finishing up and that they can't make people leave (fully understand). Next she stated that they take phone reservations as well, and that OpenTable will allow people to make reservations even after they are full (this is where I have a problem). I could tell the hostess was irritated with our questions, and didn't understand the logical disconnect in being seated 40 minutes after a reservation.
Definition of Reservation: an arrangement whereby something, especially a seat or room, is booked or reserved for a particular person. (generally at a specified date/time).
My issue: Don't use/offer OpenTable if you aren't going to use it correctly. There is no reason they should be taking reservations in multiple systems and not portraying accurate availability. This is bad management and extremely off putting.
The food has always been good, and the service is usually above average.
I'm glad we recently found a local Italian restaurant that doesn't have these types of issues and I can alleviate at least one family from Maggiano's wait list/delayed reservations in the future.
Even with reservation, we had to wait an extra 50 minutes since there were no open tables. We were told a party took up 5 tables and had to wait till another table opened. Not sure why they accept reservations if can't keep them. Other than that our waiter was nice and food was good and hot.
Here's the thing. It's a great restaurant, however, if you have a reservation, you shouldn't have to wait for 30 minutes.
Disappointing with reservations/ seating process.
Had 6.30pm reservations and waited for over 30 minutes to be seated. Inconsistency in beverage service. Was there two evenings in a row and Cosmopolitan was totally different in presentations, taste and quality. Service was slow and inattentive. Mostly asked for bread, water etc.
Need to bring the coffee with the dessert. The whole point of having coffee is to enjoy it with your dessert.
Great experience amazing brunch for the family. Two dollar mimosas for the wife!
Requedted high table at the bar, it was reserved for us. Thank you! Great service and delicious food :)
The waiter, Max, was excellent and the manager was very friendly. Overall a wonderful experience!
Over many years I've visited Tyson's Corner, Annapolis, and DC locations and they were very good. Today I visited the Springfield location, the service was very nice. However, the Chicken Parmesan and appetizer was overcooked. The server was very gracious and replaced the overcook appetizer.
Great family restaurant, good food, fair price, good service.
It was a wonderful dinner. Thank you so much my family really did appreciated your food and the service.
