An excellent restaurant for hosting a family dinner.
Family Valentine’s Day
Wonderful as usual!!
Was on a date for Valentine Day. It was very crowded, but I had a reservation. Need to manage customers waiting in entrance batter on crowded days. I like the restaurant, J love the prices and the look.
Great service, food and location. We had a group of 18 people with our church. They had a lovely location set up for us. Nice balloons and center pieces for the tables. They were very flexible even when my folks showed up very late. I was extremely impressed with their service and food. Management team was very accommodating and provided great customer service. Will go back again and again!
A neighborhood group of Army wives enjoyed lunch at Maggiano’s in the Springfield Town Center today. The service was outstanding and everyone raved about their menu selections. We will keep this restaurant on our list for future events. Thank you Maggiano’s!
It was a great place to host my birthday party, the server was slow & the food took a while to come out.. I got the mediterranean pasta and it was on the salty side.. My friends enjoyed their food and we have a good time overall.
We went here for anniversary celebration. The food was OK. We took advantage of the special that enables you to take home a pasta dish. That was a very good deal. The servings were more than adequate, the atmosphere was just so-so.
Food was excellent as we expect. Server we had was probably the most lackluster server we have had ever. Didn't offer an appetizer or starter, had to be told we would like drinks, and then post meal, didn't offer dessert or coffee.
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
Our server was AWESOME!!!!!!
We celebrated my Mom’s birthday at Maggiano’s. Even though we were a party of 12, we were seated pretty quickly after arrival. Our waiter was attentive and the food was good. No complaints!
We went on Sunday earlyish - around 11 am. Service and food were excellent. We definitely beat the church crowd so we didn't have to wait at all.
Always good here. We go for brunch on Sundays at least once a month. The food is always delicious, hot and fresh. The drinks are great and the $2 mimosas make it work the trip.
Sat 30 minutes after reservation time and they did not seem to think this is an issue. They do not seem to care how this affects the customers impression of the restaurant. The food is average and the restaurant is not managed very well. I will go to local, non chain, Italian restaurants next time instead of Maggianos. To add to the delay in seating, the food was also slow to arrive in about 45 minutes.
The restaurant was a mad house and very noisy, but, with our reservation, we were seated within ten minutes. Our waiter was excellent, and the food was delicious, as usual. We got the dinner for two with the ability to take home two meals. One container was enough for dinner for the two of us, and it truly tastes like homemade Italian food! No one can beat Maggiano’s for the quality of the food and the value!
service consistently awful. The waiters are friendly enough but the wait to have our order taken and the wait for food was far too long.
The food was delicious specially the chicken with pesto sauce, the clam chowder soup and the chicken fetuccini Pasta, my family really enjoyed all this dishes, the service was excellent! we were celebrating my daughter's b day, Christiano our server gave a complimentary desert, he made us feel really special, thank you
I'd never been to a Maggiano's before - but this won't be the last time! Tasty food, generous portions, and above all - prompt service. The pace of our meal was perfect - from our warm welcome (even though we were earlier than our reservation) to consideration of the various age levels at our table. Great location for brunch followed by a movie!
When my family came into town in November we had our first meal at the Springfield location of Maggiano’s. It was wonderful from the appetizers to the meal to the service. It was so enjoyable that when my family came back in to town this past week they wanted to make a return trip. Unfortunately, we were hugely disappointed. We ordered bruschetta, which was a crowd favorite the last time, and we found it to be soggy and not as good as the last time. Our food took an extremely long time to come out, so long that our waitress kept apologizing. My mom ordered spaghetti and meatballs (one) which came out first and was lacking in sauce, very dry. She requested extra sauce from the waitress, but it never did arrive. The other four meals came more than 15 minutes later. Two of us had the chefs specialty stuffed shells, which clearly had been sitting under a hot lamp because the entire top of the shells were hard and crunchy. They were awful. Another in our party had ordered the lump crab cakes with mashed potatoes. He said they were mediocre at best, ate half of one and never did receive the mash potatoes. Our daughter ordered chicken marsala with steak fries. She said the chicken marsala was very good but the steak fries were cold. In addition and maybe we didn’t notice this last time, but we asked for fresh grated Parmesan and we were handed a bottle of Parmesan cheese similar to that that you’d find in the local pizza joint. Surprising since Maggiano’s is supposed to be more of an upscale Italian restaurant, or at least their prices are. Extremely disappointed and we will not be going back there anytime soon
We were crammed into the dining room like sardines. I’m sure if the health department were to show up they would make them remove some tables.
We couldn’t even get up from our seats without bumping into someone at another table. Even the wait staff had to reach over people to serve us. Not a good experience.
The food was tasty as usual but it was an awkward dinner.
everything was excellent from service to food. 10/10 would recommend
Every visit is a wonderful experience. Can't beat the value, especially with the pasta to dine in along with a pasta to go. And, the Maggiano salad is wonderful.
With a group of 14 people, we were fortunate to be in a side room. Our server was very attentive to when she should put in the order for each course. We did not feel rushed at all. Very pleasant experience.
I had a group of 16 teenagers all paying separately and very indecisive orderers....on top of most of them being 30 min late for the reservation....EVERYONE was patient with us and our waitress was AMAZING!!!!
Not too many diners on a Monday lunch. We had the entire room for our small group. The service and food were both very good.
Extremely accommodating for our party of 7, we even asked to switch from a table to a booth and the staff was happy to make it happen. Our waiter was great as always, this is our go to for just dinner for two or family get togethers.
