Nice meal. Service good, not great. Food good and nice sized portions and really appreciate the warm bread.
Please note there was an error made on my bill so I informed the manager and waiter about this. The manager informed me it was taking care of BUT my visa bill does not reflect the correction.
I’m not happy to say the least considering I came back to the restaurant to bring it to their attention.
We were meeting family for dinner. Service was a little slow but we were well compensated by our kind waiter. Food was good. Service great, pleasant, friendly, professional. Would only recommend that you not have to close out a tab in the bar before going to dinner in restaurant.
Great night out with friends. Service was spectacular and brought home enough food for 3 more people.
Carpet was wet and my mother slipped on it - food was just ‘ok’ - bread pudding was dry and boring.
Everything from the initial greeting and service to the food was wonderful. We will most definitely be back.
We had friends in from California and chose Maggiano’s for dinner for the Holiday’s. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and created the perfect ambience for our evening. The staff was great and got us seated quickly within our reservation time slot. It was definitely a hectic atmosphere that evening with the Holiday crowd but the staff and our server were fantastic!
Showed up to our 6:45 reservation and didn’t get sat at our table until 7:30. I understand being busy but to not give us any info on when they would have available tables and the manager was not of any help!! We will not be back there!!!
The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating, but our server Taylor was OUTSTANDING !!
The food was tremendous as well !!
The food was great and well worth the money. The service was very good. Waitstaff were very friendly.
Our server, Cole, was great. Tried his very best to keep up with everything going on around him to make sure everybody got a great experience. Food was excellent as usual, but feel as if they changed up the Alfredo... tasted a little different than normal, but still great!!
Excellent service, very attentive and personable, tasty, well prepared veal piccata and filet mignon with Maggiano salad.
It was a wonderful experience. Our group of 18 ladies had a marvelous time. The food was terrific and having the holiday family style lunch was great. Al,our waiter, did a fantastic job. This group dined with you two years ago and we will surely be back! Thank you!!!
The foods were great! Definitely, we'll return soon!
We love the little Italy
Roman, the server was not attentive. Never came back to see if everything was okay. One guest never ate their food because it wasn’t cooked properly. Had to ask multiple times for water. Finally we asked him to leave the whole pitcher. I wouldn’t go back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Though ur was super busy, they got us seated in 10 mins w the help of open table
Always a consistent meal and good service. aaaaaaa
Just ok. There on the Friday of a very busy Thanksgiving Weekend so was very busy and crowded. Service less than expected. For example server never came back for a wine order after drinks.
We did family style for 4. Plenty of leftovers. Most of the food was average Italian fare. Standouts were the gnocchi and the chicken saltimbocca - both I recommend.
Our go to restaurant for great Italian food!! Rachael is a great server!!
Over priced, my reservation was at 8 and most of the sides we wanted were out, the food was cold and I had to send it back asked for a manager and one never came... the amount of food given and the poor attention of our server WAS NOT WORTH the price of admission!
Very busy and crowded with a high noise level. We loved the family style servings and found most of the dishes very good. However, the ham was not well prepared and pleased no one. Despite the noise, we enjoyed ourselves. The service was excellent.
It was Thanksgiving and Open Table kept shoveling reservations at an overwhelmed restaurant kitchen and staff. They were swamped. Usually fine food was served family style in great quantities which reduced ambiance, presentation, and tastiness, all of which made the evening over-priced for value. Front desk staff was absolutely excellent and host kept us amused while we waited almost an hour for service. Probably a great restaurant but couldn't find it on Thanksgiving.
I have always enjoyed Maggiano's. Good is very good. Also like taking home the leftovers. Thanksgiving was a fun time as I brought guests from Wisconsin. This was their first time at a Maggianno's and they ended up looking to see if there was a Maggiano's in Milwaukee.
What a lovely two evenings we spent at this restaurant this Thanksgiving holiday. Both nights we enjoyed the family style dinner, where you choose a salad, several entrees and side dishes and desserts. What a good adventure, and so much food! The staff has an excellent attitude and great customer service. They make you feel like you a family, and that's rare indeed.
Thanksgiving Hot Mess- for s restaurant who does large parties and banquets for a living, you’d never know it. This is nothing like the food or service at any Maggiano’s in Chicago.
They had 3 bartenders for Thanksgiving, and one that looked to be a teenager making drinks as well. We had to ask the bartender to make my martini over since it was too sweet to drink.
They sat us 45 minutes after our reservation. As soon as we sat down they brought 2 salads to the table so we weren’t allowed to have a drink and relax for a hot second before they started serving us.
When the main dishes came about 4 people came to our table (one repeatedly reached in front of me and almost poked me in the face with a spoon sticking out of a bowl) where they tried to give us ALL of the courses at once. For a small table, there literally wasn’t room for 8 serving bowls plus our 4 plates. We had to tell them to stop and take them away so we could eat the pasta course first.
Everyone at our table just say there stunned at the onslaught of people just throwing dishes at us like it was a food hall. Clearly they oversold the dinner and had untrained staff working because if that is the normal type of service, you can get better trained waitstaff at a diner.
As far as the food goes, most of it might have been decent had it not been cold. They brought 4 small slices of ham for 4 people on a large plate with a small scoop of mashed sweet potatoes underneath. The turkey was decent but the stuffing underneath was all bread. The turkey gravy was served in a large serving bowl (why?) and tasted like broth with flour. The pasta was tasty but really salty. The apple pie was served with completely melted ice cream. Our bill was incorrect. So to sum it up: complete fail. Will not go back.
Never saw that kind of service. Outstanding food was awesome. As well as service. Too bad no Maggianos in Canada
Maggianos use to be one of our favorite restaurants. I have celebrated many dinner parties there and for 5 years now my husband and I have had our Thanksgiving dinner there. The last 3 years for Thanksgiving I’ve watched the quality of food severely declined. You make reservations but still wait a good while, it’s so crowded, and the noise level will ruin the ambiance. Over the years our food has failed in appetizing presentation, lack of seasoning, and most of all the temperature of food is luke warm to cold in minutes. I’ve experienced with most recent visit and visits in the past brown lettuce in my salad bowl , pasta that’s bland, gravy and stuffing that’s cold, and creamed spinach that’s more runny than creamy! Unacceptable! Last year I told my husband we weren’t coming back for Thanksgiving but this year I truly mean it. I can’t go back to Maggianos for Thanksgiving. Paying $125-$135 for our meals with wine that’s not worth it is a total waste of money.
We have dined at Maggiano's many many times but never for Thanksgiving. Maggiano's accepted too many reservations. It was chaotic. The noise level was very high. Servers were doing their best to keep up with serving and turning over tables. It was difficult for them to move thru the dining room with trays of food as there were people everywhere. Not a relaxing experience. There was a huge amount of food, most of it served warm, not hot. Never again for Thanksgiving.
We went for family Thanksgiving dinner. Even though the restaurant was very full, we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. Our server, Ali was great...she was responsive to our requests and very pleasant and interactive despite being very busy. Food was plentiful and delicious with plenty of leftovers for the next day!
We have been three times for Thanksgiving. This was the worst. A table of four, food for two, everything cold and our waiter had an excuse for everything. Other than two gift cards, our bill was not adjusted. Last time we will go there.
Always good food this year the waitress was exceptional
Amazing.....from the food to the ambiance to the service!
I've visited this location many times before and love eating here. This was the first time for Thanksgiving dinner, however. The food itself was - as usual - just delicious!!! It was well prepared and very tasty. There were also generous proportions served for the price per person, and we got to take some leftovers home. However, the service was frankly just disappointing. While I get this was a holiday, a restaurant of this tier should have been better prepared to respond to the pace of the day. It just took waaaaaaayyyyyy too long to get our food and there was a lot of unnecessary and inappropriate delay between each and every course. Turkey came out, but there was no gravy or cranberry sauce for another 10 minutes, LOL. It became clear that the staff and managers all knew about our situation, and yet made no effort to make things right. They just apologized several times and said, "It's a really busy day!" In the end, it was a holiday so we stayed positive.
This is the 5th time that we visited this location on Thanksgiving for our Holiday meal. It was an Epic failure. We were seated quickly with our drinks from the bar. We requested the lower level twice, but that was ignored. We ordered and the salad came up quickly. The the wait staff continually apoligized for the delay in getting the main courses out. The turkey came out cold and it took 15 minutes longer to get any gravy.
We just ate a little of the pasta, which was the best part of the meal. We saved it and looked forward to the leftovers the next day.
Then the wheels fell off. The waitress dropped a whole platter of turkey on my shoulder and lap. I was totally soaked. We never saw a manager. She offered to pack up a fresh pack of turkey to take home. My dog loved me when I got home and wanted to lick all of my clothes.
The biggest disappointment was to get home and find that they never packed and gave me the pasta that we were looking forward to.
I'm thinking we need a new Thanksgiving restaurant next year
Went on thanksgiving day, it took about 70minutes for us to receive the main course from the time we were seated. Food was as cold, and tasted highly processed. Server and manager were apologetic and comped our beers but overall it was an unpleasant experience.
Great food and service from Ally on Thanksgiving Day. Very enjoyable and too much to eat.
I’ve been there many times with great food and experience but this time service was very slow and food wasn’t as good as usual .
