We were celebrating Our Anniversary. We were seated 30 min late in a booth next to another couple. The server was really bad didn’t provide simple things utensils plates water we asked for all repeatedly even to light the candle. Took forever to order food & when our appetizer finally came me out the meal came seconds later. Mine was totally wrong dish but server never even came by again to see how things were but did her other tables but ignored us. It was overall very disappointing
Great place to celebrate Birthday's. Had a great time cant wait to go back.
Waitress was great.
Would like to see more soup options
Food was delicious and the meal for two was a fantastic and unexpected deal. The waiter even brought a special dessert since it was our first wedding anniversary.
Very enjoyable meal
We had reservation for 6:00 PM got there five minutes before six checked I they told us to go sit in the bar and they will call us after waiting 15 to 20 minutes I went up there to see how our reservation Is going and they said they had already set us at our table? I said you couldn’t have set us up at our table I’m standing right here. they gave our table to someone else so we had to wait another 10 minutes for our table is quite disappointed and had no vinegar on the tables we had salt and pepper and olive oil but no vinegar for our bread so when we needed vinegar we had a flag someone down they got a bottle of vinegar poured it in our plates and then left I had to have them come again when we needed more instead of just leaving a bottle of vinegar on the table
Very disappointing. If it weren't for the gentleman that brought out our water and bread, I would have preferred to rate this visit zero stars. We got seated reasonably close to our 6pm reservation. Our server came by for the first time at 6:25pm and promptly disappeared again instead of bringing the drinks or the balsamic as promised. The man who brought our bread, got a child's cup to ensure no water spilled, tracked down the balsamic, and brought us more bread when I told him our server, Chris, seems to have disappeared. We were celebrating a child's birthday. She made a special request for this place for their lemon cookies. The birthday cookies came out on a platter with balsamic vinegar writing "because they ran out of chocolate". The adult meals consisted of an overpriced fishy smelling mushy crab cake dish and crunchy butternut squash ravioli in a strange colored sauce. Ew and inedible came to mind. Even had to remind Chris about the forgotten drink after the food arrived. Considered asking for the manager, but over 90 mins later from our arrival, we were happy to escape after finally managing to get our bill. The excuse will be there was a large party. Not valid, they were seated long after we experienced our horrible service. Pass. We will not be back.
Overall I would say that it's a nice restaurant with good food. But the time I waited for my drinks was more than 5 minutes, as we already had our bread and had nothing to wash it down with. Then our food took 50 mins to arrive. Mind you I had ordered a steak well, that doesn't take all that long. My steak was great though as with the asparagus risotto, just wish I hadn't waited so long. The fettuccine was disgusting though, and would have expected much more from an Italian spot.
I like this restaurant , but because we had 16 they had us do a family style, which is hard for 8 couples for dinner who all have different tastes. Also, service was slow and took 1/2 hour to get the bill
I would say we are regulars at Maggiano's including booking a lot of Holiday & Celebration parties in the Banquet Rooms. It always amazes me that you make reservations in advance and then it happens to NOT be busy (2:30 in the afternoon) and they seat you in the worst location. Near the waiting area where everyone walks by to use the restroom. We asked to be move and no problem they did. Our waiter was nice and his service was good. Annoyed when I got home late that night, as I ordered a meal that included the "Free Take Home Pasta" my daughter was with us and was going to take in with her back to San Fran. Looked in the bag to find that it was never included. Did go back 2 days later and they gave it to us.
Still a nice place to go, it just happens that this was not one of our better experiences.
Service was amazing our server Oliver fulfilled all our needs. Not only that but as well explained and ask if we are allergic to anything due to the fact that everything is from scratch and amazingly delicious. Overall; but experience for a first time
Kitchen was a little slow but it was super busy.
Over all great time
Great Value for a great meal with family and friends!
If you order certain meals, like the excellent lasagna, you get a second portion boxed to take home. My wife really appreciated that take home from my business lunch. Beautiful place, on the Northern California model which dates back to Hearst Castle. As pretty as Left Bank but much better servers. Quiet, they leave you alone to talk. Excellent lasagna too.
I had a wonderful experience at this Maggiano’s I go to them every city that I live in. Brianna my server was one of the best I’ve had and I will always request her when I go there which is at least once a week. you have a loyal customer here. thank you so much appreciate you ......Jro
A good place to eat and drink conveniently located at an outdoor mall and across from a bigger mall. The food is good, reasonably priced and have good selections.
Do you still do free dessert for a birthday? I didn’t receive anything. I noted it on our reservations that the occasion was for a birthday.
Always a good time with good food.
Electrical outlets near sitting area did not work. This was important as a guest was on a oxygen concentrator. Food was a bit over seasoned and overall felt as if we were rushed to get out of there.
I made reservation on 9/17 for 11 people on 10/5. I pre-ordered family style dishes 2 days ago (she repeated the pre-order list). Someone called me to confirm the reservation and asked if I needed to change any dish 1 day ago. After we were seated, the server asked me that I should pick one more desert (didn't I pre-ordered?). During the dinner, we were told that one of the dishes that we pre-ordered was not available (just knew in the middle of the dinner?). We were given a rectangle table in the middle of the room. It was super crowed. Since it was so crowed, the server was not able to get inside. We were asked to pass dishes to the server several times. Also, one of the round folding round tables (to rectangle table) had problem with the folding part (could not completely folded). So two of us needed to hold "folding" part of the table all night long. The server said there was nothing she could do. It was not a pleasant dinner and it was my daughter 16th birthday.
They over charged credit card by 100 dollars. Service was slow and food was just OK. Probably won't go back
Sadly they have started a terrible new way of seating people. Reservations were for 6:30 PM so we check in & then grab a seat and drink at the bar. Around 6:45 we get a text message saying our table is ready (this almost never happens, usually they call out our name) we leave our bar seats, walk up to the hostess and then have to wait another 15 minutes. People less patient then us (with reservations after ours) who complained more, were seated before us. We finally got a table around 7:10.
It was utter chaos and really put a damper on the evening. Don’t tell people your table is ready and unless it’s actually ready.
We arrived before Iour set time. I was told to wait and they would call me. After about 12 minutes i go back and inquire if i miss my name being called. I was informed I had not yet checked it. I pointed out the woman I checked in with I was then seated. After 8 mintues I stopped a bus boy and inquired were the waiter was for my table. I was told he would check. 5 minutes later I inquire with a different staff person who also advised me they weren't aware, but would check. The table on the left were there before nt guest and I, they also had inquire. The manager heard the commotion, came to my table took our drink order. Waiter shows up, he was on break. Problem, he took the 1st order of the last people seat in his section. Food was delicious, waiter great sense of humor. Manager wave the charge for the 1st round of drinks we order. Thank you Marraggianos for making my night with my bff. Please note, after dinner my bff went shopping. We ended the night at Marraggianos for a night cap. That is only because the manager stepped up and comp the drinks from dinner, for their lack of coverage.
Peace and Blessings
The only thing I didn’t like was that I wasn’t informed when I made my reservation initially that the dining room didn’t allow strollers. I completely understand it’s a fire hazard but I should have been informed before my arrival especially since I mentioned it in my reservation. So we had to have dinner out in the bar area wasn’t the best environment compared to the actual dining room.
I ordered a “house” merlot and when the bill came the glass of wine was $21. I asked the waitress and she said that’s the price. I would not have ordered a $21 glass. I found this annoying!! I think the waitress should have mentioned the cost when I ordered it. It left a bad taste.
Service was good but some food was made improperly and/or cold.
We got there at lunch not crowded at all. We were seated at a table. Our waitress was awesome!!! It just took way to long to get our food ugh! Reservation was at noon we left at 2:50! Soooo slow and the restaurant was not busy at all!! Great food great waitress but takes way to long for a lunch we had to get back to work! No for lunch , dinner may be faster 🤷🏻♀️
This is a solid Italian restaurant. The service is always on point and attentive, the food is tasty, and the atmosphere, for a large restaurant, is cozy. Don't think of it as a chain restaurant. They do their best to make you feel special and treat you as a valued customer. The value of getting a take home dish along with your entree cannot be beat. The large variety of food and available healthy choices make this a must try if you're and Italian food lover.
Special occasion/date night. Started badly and ended the same. Disappointed overall.
Created a reservation last night (Sunday) on OpenTable for 6:45 PM and arrived on time. Host said they were running behind, but “won’t be long” and assured us they would call our name and text message us via OpenTable if “we wanted to walk around a little bit or wait outside”.
We walked next door to the urban outfitters until 7:05. Following this, we sat outside the restaurant waiting. At 7:45 we walked back to the host stand, quite irritated and approached the same host and asked for an update. He informed us that he did call our name both inside and outside AND had OpenTable text message us. Both statements were incorrect and provided him information to support. He let us know we would be next to be called. Waiting a lil longer, we were the 3rd table called. Sat down at 8:15 PM.
Waitress was pretty great, they were busy and she asked if we wanted bread due to longer wait times for food. We ordered an appetizer and ate large amounts of bread while waiting. Appetizer was mozzarella marinara and was delicious. I ordered Tuscan Chicken and Shrimp, my girlfriend ordered Chicken Marsala.
When our food came out, we both tried our food, it appeared it was rushed and thrown together. My ziti noodles were still stuck together and less than cooked all the way. The cream sauce was fair at best. My girlfriend said her meal tasted strongly of wine and onions to a point that it was no good.
I was going to send it back l, but my girlfriend insisted to just let it go. We boxed up our food with few bites taken out of it.
Overall very displeased with visit. My family loves these chain Italian foods where we usually do the family-style dinning. I don’t know if this was an isolated event or common for this location. But we will not be returning for now.
Service was great but the food was subpar . I ordered Linguini Del Mar - it was pretty bland for my taste. My daughter ordered her kids spaghetti with meatball- and taste was nothing to be brag about . Calamari was barely have that much flavor .
We were there for over 3 hours for a party of 4 that knew what we wanted to eat. Had to wait 40-45 minutes for our dessert after our waiter said 10 minutes. Had to wait 10 minutes to have the leftover dessert boxed for us to take. Another table came, ate and left in less time than we did. They had better service. Very disappointing as we were there celebrating a birthday and had someone who had never been there before. I was embarrassed and angry. Never once did a manager stop by during the time we were there and they walked by often.
Great food. Big plates that will definitely get you full. And you must get a dessert
The food was amazing but the wait and cleanliness was below average. We even had a reservation and waited on a list. The bathrooms were complete chaos with trash everywhere. Didn’t compare well with other of the chain we have been to.
The food was excellent
could’ve been a better experience, but organization for reservations is very awful.
Service was very good and staff was very friendly. The veal picata was too done. Chicken parm was ok.
Spaghetti didn't have enough sauce. Calamari was good and dessert was very good. We'll give it another try.
Food would ha
It's a go to place for taking family and out of town guests, mainly because of the food as well as the ambience.
