We had family in town and they absolutely love the family style dinner at Maggianos. Food was all fine, it was odd that the spaghetti and meatballs came with one giant meatball for the party to share. Nothing was bad though. Service was friendly but very slow. On a Wednesday night dinner took over 2 hours. Dinner was actually so slow we reframed from ordering any additional portions. I wouldn’t say the server was very attentive either. Overall, nothing great and nothing horrible.
There was really noting wrong with my recent visit to Maggiano's. But, there was really nothing special about it either. The food was good, not great. I guess the service was a little over average, but really amped up at the end when a manager appeared to ask if everything was okay. I have been to Maggiano's many, many times and I am sure I will go back again... just a little lackluster this time.
Food was good. We were seated immediately. Even though the waitress checked on us often our food was very slow in coming out. It was worth the wait, but since we were going to see a show after we didn’t have time for dessert. Overall we enjoyed it.
Dinner was fine. The place was noisy because of one table that was laughing too loud. No one from the restaurant said anything to them.
Great atmosphere, service and food. Will be back again
Our anniversary dinner was magnificent!!! The food and service was outstanding.
Jeff was his usual competent self. Took good care of us. Got us on our way to Walnut Street timely.
We exhibit at a conference at the convention center every year at this time and we always eat at Maggianos the might before. Up until now, our experience has been really good. This year, however, it was not the case. One in our party has celiacs disease and requires gluten free food. Ordinarily when we tell this to the server, he/she is very accommodating and chef even comes out to confirm what is being prepared. Our server this time appeared annoyed by our questions, fabricated answers to at least one of them, pretended to ask a question about a dish in the kitchen, then brought it to us without our ordering it, insisting it was gluten free. It was not and my associate was sick for the next 24 hours. We will not be returning.
Great good with friends from the UK
They loved it as I knew they wiuld
We had the price fixed family style feast. It was amazing and delicious. Enough food for twice the sizes group. We loved it!!
Maggiano’s never disappoints when it comes to good food! Everything we had was delicious, as always. Service was ok. Overall, we were satisfied and will be returning.
Maggiano’s at 12th & Filbert in Philadelphia never disappoints. The food is always outstanding and the service is great!
Our server, Danielle was excellent!!!
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for any occasion.
We thought this would be similar to the Maggiano’s in King of Prussia where we have dined many times. It was not and unfortunately was a disappointment. Our server was good and the food was good. The ambience left much to be desired. The restaurant could have been cleaner. We will not be returning to this location.
The food was amazing. Portion size was decent. I gave a 4 out of 5 stars overall because the drinks were iffy. I ordered a skinny margarita and it tasted like cheap margarita mix. My friend ordered a bourbon drink and there was too much sour mix in it. But when i ordered a chocolate martini it was amazing. Service was awesome. No complaints there. Dessert hit the spot. I would 100% go back.
First time here and food and experience was everything I could ask for. Me and the lady had a great time and delicious food.
Great food. Our seating was super cramped at the beginning, but staff adjusted it fairly quickly. Everything was delicious. Family style worked well and everyone found something they loved. All of us were so stuffed that we had to bring dessert home!
Everything was fine except noise level and room temperature hard to control noise level but I believe my comment on room temperature has been mentioned before nd needs to be addressed
Food was excellent. And the service and ambiance were great. Highly recommended.
Very disappointed. We had a reservation for 6:30. We were there with 2 small children, had been traveling all day yet we waited 30 minutes beyond our reservation time. Service was slow. We had to ask twice to place an order for the kids' food first. Food was just ok, not great.
Pretty disappointing. Service was poor and disorganized. Long wait for service after being seated. Then another long wait followed by cocktail and first two courses brought at same time. Food was great but poor service make it unenjoyable.
Great food in large quantities and excellent service
La comida estuvo muy rica y la atención fue excelente
I took my parents for Restaurant Week. Everything was about as expected. The service was excellent. However, it did get quite loud as the restaurant filled up making conversation difficult.
It was a wonderful lunch, thank you! We hope to do another girls lunch again soon!
The service was great. The food fell short of expectations. Both salmon and the pork shank were dry almost to the point they were inedible.
Went twice actually. First time wonderful, second time mediocre. Second time server took three attempts to serve a vodka martini, although very nice about it, Meal was totally drowned in tomato sauce, typical Philadelphia excess. On both occasions the appetizers are too large and filling, skipped them entirely second visit. Would recommend with some hesitation but be careful what you order. Unfortunately the noise level is quite high. Staff do their best, Keep in mind this is a chain.
Restaurant week options are worth trying out. This restaurant is very busy than the one located at Cherry Hill. Although the service at Cherry Hill is better, everything was still just as great.
I was celebrating my 40th birthday at Maggiano's and in general things were good though I wish we had an additional server for our party. It seemed like it was a little overwhelming for our server to deal with 16 people.
Great food for a good price, as well as friendly smiles from service.
Food was excellent! Waitress was pleasant and helpful.
Amazing service! For such a busy restaurant, the waiter was quick and attentive to all the needs by all 9 of us!
Delicious food and great service. We were in town for a bachelorette party and it was a great start to our night. We did family style and there was tons of food all tasting amazing and the price couldn’t be beat.
Jennifer was great! She recommended the pork shank. It was very good.
Much too loud for our family dinner with older generation
For such a busy place, Maggiano's does a terrific job being attentive. The host staff were helpful, the wait staff amazing, and the food was great.
The food in the atmosphere was a amazing. And the salmon was unbelievable and I will be back again.
It was absolutely amazing will definitely be going again!!!
Great. Wonderful time.
Waiter was excellent and very helpful with selections
Showed up 15 min early for reservation. Very busy lobby. Got seated 10 min after reservation. Waitress came after 10 min to ask about water, took order and then we waited 22 min for bread and 45 min total for our food. Waitress very engaged with large group table and we felt forgotten. Food was bland like it was out of a can.
Overall poor experience.
