Server was friendly and attentive. Food was solid classic Italian fair.
Food & service were excellent! Wait was a little over my reservation but to be expected it was Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday was a packed house !! Our waitress was Unique... food and drink service was very good despite the large crowd. Our meals were spot on but alas a few deserts fell off the menu. Still a very enjoyable dinning experience !
delicious meal as a special treat for Easter. The restaurant was fairly loud and service was a bit slow but still polite and good enough. Food was wonderful - even the chicken parm that my kids wanted tasted better than usual chicken parm.
We had a reservation at Easter for 2 pm
We were promptly seated with no wait time and it was very crowded
Our waitress took very good care of us and everything was delicious
I was hesitant about going at Easter because of the crowds but I will surely be going back in the future
All the staff was excellent considering having a weekend full of a teenage girl volleyball tournament at the convention center! Very accommodating and friendly! Portions were huge!
I got the salmon. It was descent. The drinks were good and the service was great.
The food and presentation were awesome. Service was adequate.
The food was excellent and so was the wait staff. The place was packed with a lot of young girls, with their teams and families because of the large Volleyball tournament going on at the Convention Center that weekend. This did not effect Maggiano's, the food was still excellent and the staff was very friendly, we loved our waitress! We try to go back there every time my daughter has a tournament in Philly.
Great food and friendly staff. Our waitress was great.
They were awesome the waiter was great very attentive
Always go to Maggiano’s after the theatre....great food. My only complaint occurred on this past Saturday. The menu includes a page for Pasta dishes, however, this page is hidden in the middle pocket of the menu and if you don’t know it’s there....no-one informs you. I mentioned this to our waitress, and told her that one group at another table kept looking at the menu...looking puzzled. The waitress did not go to them to help them, so I did. They were grateful that I showed them the Pasta page. Not sure why this page is put out of sight like this, but it less than user friendly. Tom Smith
We had a large table of 16 year old girls and a table of 6 adults. We told them that we only had an hour and they were amazing. The food was delicious and the service was fabulous. I will go back every time I’m in Philadelphia and always recommend it to friends! Can’t beat it!
We went to Maggiano’s for a team lunch with 24 people. Food was excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. They did a great job feeding us and getting out the door on time to play!
Our waiter was great and our food was delicious.
The hostess needs to polish up her customer service skills.
They were very accommodating for our large group. Families ordered by jersey numbers to make separate checks easier. Food was yummy!
Ordered 2 glasses of Red Barolo wine had to send it back was so bad, salad came out and had to bites and entree arrivied, felt very rushed, overall very disappointing
Our server was amazing! So much food! Great value!
Family meal for 10, wonderful everything!
The food was much better than we expected. Our server was very pleasant even though she had too many tables. The noise level was high with lots of large business groups. It took the hostess awhile to find us a table, she even forgot who we were(she came back and asked if we needed any help). She too was very busy with ever increasing in number convention groups. Tables and chairs were moving fast. We would definitely go back when looking for standard Italian fare.
Our table for 17 people was very cramped, in the middle of the room. We were definitely bumping elbows the entire meal. Suggest adding an extra table for large groups to allow more room, especially if they are going to push the Family Style menu. Once you add a lot of plates to the table, there is little room for even a wine glass. It is always crowded in there so the noise level is very high, making it hard to hear, especially a group of 17. Food was great, but they could definitely improve allotted space for large groups.
Delicious food. Loved the seasonal special with calamari. I would return
Poor service since we were only a table for two. Very ignored
We checked in a few minutes early. They had my name and no problem with the open table reservation but they sent us to the bar because they said they were backed up. We went and had a drink but started to get antsy when 30 minutes passed. We were there with four kids and it was now 9pm. We asked again at the front desk and they said they had no record of us checking in. When we saw the girl who confirmed our res and sent us to the bar, they semi-apologized and immediately brought us to a table. We ordered an appetizer, two adult dishes, drinks and four kids meals. The adult dinners came out, no sign of the app, the drinks or the kids meals. After we were half way through our meals we told them not to bother with the appetizer at that point, but could they please check on the kids meals. I don’t know what happened there but they came out about 20 min after ours. Two repeated requests of drinks never made it out either. They were surly and completely unapologetic. The food was fine - typical chain Italian but the service was atrocious. Worst open table restaurant experience ever.
Abundant and delicious food, super sweet and professional waiter, fun atmosphere - awfully rude and pretentious front of house. Reservation for 17 people for 7:30, refused to seat us until all 17 were there. I had to lie and say it was just 15 coming and we still had to wait 30 minutes for our table.
Birthday celebration - great looking restaurant with amazing food!
Just go to chee
The only reason why I gave 4 starts for service sas because KIM whom was not even our waitress helped us a couple times because our waiter seemed distracted and overwhelmed
Great evening! Good comfort food, great plates to share and the best waiter ever!
Nice place next to convention center. Would recommend for decent Italian food and convenient spot.
Great food, nice service, nice place for a good meal.
Overall everything was pretty good. In Philly from out of town and would definitely go back.
Too many salads with blue cheese and no other cheese options. Iceberg lettuce? Ugh. But the lobster carbonara was delicious with ample fresh and tasty lobster.
Bit pricy compared with other locatinns
Excellent food, romantic ambiance, good prices. Would recommend it!
It was especially busy and seemed understaffed. Our usual server, Jeff, was his wonderful self but WAY too busy with too many tables to serve. We were late leaving and had to hurry to the theater to be on time. We'll see how the next visit goes.
The food was very good. You accommodated us as a la carte even though we were a party of 16. Staff was great.
Great meal, has the clam linguine, lots of clams, the bruschetta tasting on the appetizer was really good, our favorite was the bacon one. We were seated in the back in a quieter room, it was very noisy
Our waitress was wonderful. She was very attentive. Food was good but one dish was cold. We had a very good time
Waitress was pleasant and engaging, sous chef came out to speak with us about daughter’s food allergies and menu selection.
Our meal was very good - consistently enjoyable.
