I am a huge fan of Maggiano's Buckhead. NOT Perimeter. I booked a reservation for 8 at 7:30 for my teen and friends prior to their prom. While the teens arrived early, they were not seated till 25 minutes after their reservation with no apologies. According to my teen and friends who all know to tip at least 20% for good service, service was negligent at best. Would not recommend the Perimeter location!
We go at least once a month. ITV was horrible food, service
I loved the visit. We visited for my daughters 24th bday and our server Andrea was awesome. From.the service to the food, everything was A+++. We will definitely be returning.
Our guest had an awesome time there. The food was very good and the waiter were awesome. We initially reserve set for 20 people, but our list grew to about 30. The staff quickly recognize the need for more seating, and they kindly add more seating. We will be returning, and once again thank you.
We have always had a wonderful experience at this location. Food was delicious and server was attentive and helpful. He gave great recommendations on dishes we've never tried before. We loved it. We were celebrating a birthday and everyone made us feel special. We know we will always have a great meal and experience here
Service was not up to par. Our server was also waiting on a table of 16 people in addition to us. Our entree arrived about a minute after our salad arrived. I always hate that. Food was very good.
Our waitress was very slow and lack luster. She seemed out of it. Even though she had an extra helper one of our meals came out 30 Mins after everyone else’s. We had a table of 12 celebrating two birthdays and I think it was more than she could handle.
It was for my grandmother's 90th birthday celebration. The staff was very accommodating and they helped me make the celebration very special.
I normally visit the Cumberland location due to convenience but I think I’m going to have to go out of my way to come to the perimeter location I was shopping with my mother due to her birthday weekend and we wanted to have a nice dinner before we headed home and I loved the service that I received it was so easy to make a reservation as well as the food was outstanding
I remember going to a Maggianos years ago, and enjoyed it highly. Never had a chance to return to the restaurant until recently. Pricing is extremely high for the product. I had the chicken parmigiana, and it tasted almost burnt. The side spaghetti and sauce was excellent. My wife asked to sub Alfredo Sauce for her mail, but we never tasted an Alfredo Sauce like that before. The fried zucchini was excellent. The bread was amazing. Drinks were cold and fresh. I didn't complain about the meal due to this being my birthday and I didn't want to ruffle any feathers. The service started slow, but she came around extremely well after drinks and appetizers hit. Table seating was too close to one another. I could have shared a meal with the table next to us. There were many things going on that day - Wedding upstairs, birthday downstairs, dining room packed. I am sure everyone was just overwhelmed. Honestly though, probably would not go back to this restaurant, because there are other family restaurants that are as holsom at a better price point.
The food was amazing but the service was slacking I excepted better service.
Been there several times but this time was a miss. Food was bland.
They put candles in her desert for birthday!
Went shopping at the mall. Had dinner afterwards. The food was amazing, the wine was superb, and service was great. We ate early at 5, and I understand servers have sections. I would have liked the tables to have been more spread out. There were 5 tables eating and we all sat nearly side by side
Everything was great as always.
Great as usual. They started vacuuming before we were done eating bit that was only problem.
The food was very good but maybe work on having more affordable food on the menu.
This used to be a favorite. The food quality has definitely changed and the noise level was tremendous.
Our waiter was kind and apologetic especially that they no longer even have freshly shaved Parmesan.
We were very disappointed.
The food was excellent and our server was great! The food was just slow coming out of the kitchen and it is always to cold in the dining room...we were freezing!
The food was great as usual. We ate off the family style menue and there was plenary of food for the entire group with leftovers to take home.
Went for Easter and it was a packed house over 2 hour wait but thanks to our reservation we only wait 5 mins. The food was great and or waiter was really nice and helpful will return again!
We had reservation for Easter lunch at 2:15.When we got there there was a desorganized line, and nobody at the reception desk. When the recepcionist came she told we will have to wait a little bit. After a while we were seated in a room near the bar.The servers were rushing and confused. We were a group of 4 and my husband's dish came when we already finished ours.
Usually I like Magianos ,but this Easter was a big flop.I suggest next holiday they get better organized.
I'm talking about theMagianos at Perimeter Mall, and I really hope they get better.
Love this place frequent often, I do recommend this restaurant to many who love Italian and the fact that you can bring a meal home awesome.
Late seating us for our reservation. Finally took our order an hour after reservation time and told us brunch was then over by 15 minutes! Because it was Easter brunch, they had added so many extra tables that customers behind and on the side of us constantly bumped into us and servers could not get through. Needless to say, it took FOREVER to get our 3 courses. Waiter was never around as he had too many tables. All in all, we were in Maggianos for 3 hours (party of 5/ 2 of which were kids so not because of our party size). Very disappointed with service and obvious overbooking on Easter. Food was very good however.
Both the food and service were great for a Easter Sunday.
In spite of the fact that we made a reservation, we had to wait over 45 minutes for our table. Since we were dining with our children and grandchildren this wait was very difficult. The table we were given would have accommodated 8 nicely, however, we were a group of 11 and it was very crowded with people with very little room for large food platters. We were given two menus to look over during our wait; one for brunch and the other for family style dining. When we ordered our meal family style, the waitress said that option wasn't available until 3pm. We asked to speak to the manager and he allowed us to order family style. We haven't been to Maggiano's for quite some time and the selections were fewer and quality of the food were significantly diminished in that time. The place is definitely in serious need of updating in many ways. We will not return.
Food was better 5 to 10 years ago
This was Easter Sunday. We had a large group. Service was a little slow but we expected due to the group size. Took awhile before we had drinks and bread, that we asked for...
Dinner was horrible. Noodles were hard and some uncooked. Asked for broccoli added to the fettuccine and didn’t find out they didn’t have any broccoli until they served the food. Meatballs were mostly bread and no taste.
Seating was crammed. Need to stop scheduling so many large groups and serve better quality of food!
Sorry but won’t go back...
Had Easter Brunch. Lots of good food, had some for later. Excellent price per person.
We had reservations for Easter Brunch. Having previously had brunch here we were very excited and knew it was going to be delicious. We arrive on time and were seated when we looked at the “Special Easter Brunch” menu we were very VERY disappointed. It was a family style menu with 4 breakfast/brunch type items. The rest was dinner type entree such as pasta and salad. The waitress said they had called everyone with reservations to inform them of the menu well apparently everyone was not called because I never received a called. We are now at J. Alexander’s with no reservations seated and eating Belgian Waffles. I am very disappointed in Maggianos management for the menu they chose as well as not coming to the table to talk to us.
The food was delicious, as usual. Our wait was minimal.
Great as always.
Hostess was awful. She was pleasant but not very professional. 1. Did not tell us her name.
2. Was trying to persuade us to order a specific appetizer (something with truffles). We told her twice we were not interested in that particular dish because two people were allergic to mushrooms. 3. Whenever she approached our table she was chewing with her mouth open. Not sure if she was chewing gum or food. 4. Two people in our party did not get the drink refills. 5. Server dumped sauce from crab cakes in the to go container and sauce covered veggies. One had coke and the other had lemonade. Two people in the party ordered the Denver steak. One ordered med well. The other ordered well. Both looked med rare. Sent them back. Both came back charred and still not cooked as ordered. Still was med rare. Blood was running out. Asked for the manager at this point. He offered to let these two order something else. I’ve visited the Perimeter location at least three times within two years and never had such terrible service. My entire party was disgusted and irritated. I also noticed this location had an 82 rating. If I had known beforehand, I would have reserved this celebration at another location.
Allgood for they price point.
Things were a little lack-luster compared to our usual Maggiano’s experience.
Waiting well beyond our reservation and the dining room is half empty. Inefficiency or some stupid attempt to create “buzz”? Either way I was disappointed and will visit other Italian spots that seem to care about customers.
We had four family birthdays the past week and celebrated at Maggiano's because of good food, atmosphere and large group seating. Our waiter was awesome...his name was Foster. We actually enjoy just sitting at the bar for drinks and food when it is just the two of us...but also great for our family of 14.
The food and service were great and our server did a great job!
I ordered 3 little crab cakes and they charged me $31 for the whole thing. Magianos is so boujie.
Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Marsala were amazing. You get the best deal ordering “Marcos Meal for Two”.
