Maggiano's - Perimeter Ratings and Reviews
I truly enjoyed the food and great atmosphere. Everything was very hot . I loved the bread 🥖 it very nice a chewy 😋! I can’t wait to go back again and again to this restaurant! It now has become one ☝️ of my favorite restaurant. I would and wish I could work at this restaurant 🥖🥗🍝🍰🍺🍻🍹🍸🍷🍗😋😛👍🙋🏻🤗!
This is perhaps the worst experience that I've ever had at a restaurant. I took a family remember to this location this evening and had the absolute WORST service I've ever encountered. I even called the manager to help and he seemed so disinterested and left our table. I was with my Mother and was wanting to go for an enjoyable time since her husband was in the hospital. I had Hoped that she could relax. Unfortunately, the server wasn't even attentive and didn't bring the drinks we ordered after 20 minutes of sitting at our table. Couldn't even get a refill of water. This restaurant use to be good and had excellent service. I'm not sure if because of my Caucasian race that we wern't able to be correctly taken care of. I was told that are server was new. Well if that's the case, then either train him, or have him find another position within your organization. When someone doesn't even know the standard menu or fare, because they don't eat meat then they should interface with customers. He even walked into the empty dining room to avoid walking back bye our table. We wern't rude or boisterous in any way. Just wanted to have a nice evening. Instead we wound up walking out since we couldn't get service. VERY UNACCEPTABLE. I WOULDN'T EVER RECOMMEND AND I'M WRITING TO THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE AS WELL.
We had 12:45 lunch reservations. I was called that Morning to confirm that we were coming-I did confirm. At 12:43, we were called again to make sure that we were coming. This restaurant is attached to a Mall. My sister dropped us off at the door and then proceeded to park the car. (It was a Sunday afternoon and the mall was packed, therefore had to park far away.) We were told that we couldn't be seated until everyone in the party was present. They seemed to be concerned about us not showing so it would make sense to go ahead and seat us to at least get drink orders going. I had both of my elderly parents with me. Servers were slow. We won't be going back.
Although our waiter did a fantastic job, the overall service was quite slow. The restaurant was very busy so maybe to be expected. In the past our family of 5 has been seated at a booth and our experience was wonderful. On this most recent visit, we were seated in the middle of the dining room and the atmosphere frankly just felt crowded and absolutely no privacy. My chair was banged all night by a child at a table behind me. There was literally only 6 inches of real space between the backs of our chairs. So the ambiance in the main dining room offers very little appeal. We were constantly juggling empty plates and platters which were not taken away before the next course came out.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, they even had heart shaped thrown on the table for decor, it was so cute; and was sat down right away after we got there and the attention was just increible as well as the Food & wine The Best! We'll be coming back here soon
Not fine dinning here ... but I was impressed by the service and attention to detail. Very busy Thursday night. Wait at the hostess stand. But was handled with grace & hospitality. Crowded. Tables close together. Loud. But the server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. I ordered crab cakes. When our meals were delivered the manager brought them to me and said basically / there’re over cooked and I’ve already order a replacement but I wanted to bring the dish out so you’d have something to much on while the others in your party begin eating. I was impressed he took to initiative. I ate the sides and when the crab cakes came out they were cooked perfectly and very good. Thank you Manager at Maggianos on 2/8/18 :)
Food was very good. Our table cloth had brightly colored confetti on it as it was my birthday. Nice touch. Service was good overall, but I was not asked to have my tea refilled/freshened.
My main concerns were with the noise level and how the tables were pushed closely together. The waiters kept bruising passed my grown daughter as they squeezed between the chairs/people at adjacent tables. Not pleasant.
Overall I would go again but they need to correct those issues I've mentioned.
They seem to overbook reservations. We had to wait in a very crowded entry for 10 mins before we were able to tell someone we had arrived for our reservation. They were behind on reservation so we had to wait another 10-15 mins for our reserved table. Would not recommend for an intimate date night or anything such as that. Too noisy and crowded.
We are no stranger to Maggiano's at Perimeter. It has been a choice of our family for numerous years. Unfortunately, over the last several months we have noticed a stark decline in all things we consider the normal Maggiano's experience. The overall welcomed feeling from the hostess has all but disappeared and been replaced with employees who seem to have a chip on their shoulder because they have to work and everyone else there is enjoying a night out. The tables seem to be moved closer together, so much so that it is nearly impossible to have normal conversation among yourselves. It is almost to the point that you have to yell across the table to be able to communicate. The service of the wait staff has dramatically declined as well. They are now reaching across the guest to grab menus, drink glasses and to hand food instead of properly walking around the table and directing interaction with each guest. I'm sure this is partly to blame for the tables being so close to each other that even they can not walk between them. The overall attention received from the wait staff is less as well. We constantly found ourselves asking for drink refills, bread refills, and entrée refills throughout the entire meal. As they say in food preparation, presentation is everything, and even this has went down. Plates arrived at our table that appeared they had been thrown together and slopped on a pate instead of being prepared by a professional chef and staff. Sauce and cheese running off the plate and even on the bottom of the plates and then presented to us with the thumbprint of our server on the edge where the sauce was. I know these might seem like all small things, but over the last two months we have eaten here at least 4 times and have experienced not one but each of these issues with every visit. We dine out regularly and we always try to give grace as anyone can have an off night, but repeat offenses are training opportunities that need to be addressed.
Overall the experience was good. We did have to hunt down our waitress a few times for refills and our daughter who got one of the buy one, take one items got the wrong take home item. She was supposed to get spaghetti and tomato sauce but they sent home meat sauce instead. It was also my daughter's birthday. It would have been nice to have a choice of a free desert or meal instead of just cookies. Other than that a good experience.
We had a really nice time. Main dining room was crowded and rather loud at first but we were seated quickly and our food came out pretty fast. The hostess was very nice and funny and our sever was busy but took care of us very well. He even put together a birthday dessert with the lemon cookies, strawberries and cream with candles. We did the Marcos Meal for 2 and were very happy with our selections.
Food was descent; portion sizes are plentiful..enough for leftovers. Overall Experience was just okay. Had to wait 30 minutes even though we had a reservation. Food came out in good timing but one of the orders was wrong. Again not a terrible experience but not one to rave about either.
The food was great, and the server was ok. Celebrating a birthday, and didn’t order dessert like we had planned due to sitting for 20+ minutes after getting done eating waiting for our server to come around and ask us if we would like anything else. By that point we were just ready to go!
My family and I went for my birthday. Our waiter, Kevin, was very bubbly and outgoing. He took a considerable amount of time telling us about each feature on the menu and answering our questions which I really liked. I ended up getting the filet mignon and asparagus risotto. It was absolutely delicious, the temperature was just right. Our overall experience was phenomenal. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Atlanta area.
We were greeted and seated promptly. The server greeted us and advised us of the specials and that brunch was being served on that day. The server was attentive and friendly and was easy to converse with. Food service was prompt and the quality was what I expect from this restaurant from years of dining with them.
