Maggiano's - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
I love Maggiano's. I have been a couple of times and it's always packed. The service is always outstanding! I suggest making reservations and going in a group of 4 or more to order from the Family Style menu.
We meet to celebrate my friend's bday and quick bite before a show at the IMPROV. I love bruschetta and they have an bruschetta bar appetizer option. Yasssss so we decided to order 2 each to sample. I ordered the Spiced Shrimp, Nueske's Bacon, Roasted Peppers, & Corn Fondue : Really Good and the Italian Beef, Gardineria, Fontina Cheese, & Pepperonicini Aioli: Really Good with a spicy kick.
Their menu is extensive! We are certified steak eaters lol...... So we diverted back to what we love. Our entrees was the filet mug on, garlic mash potatoes, and Asparagus. You have 4 ways you can get the steak cooked. Char crust, crushed peppercorns, or Maggiano’s style. Wellllllll we wanted them all (Dont judge us lol). We ordered the Maggiano’s style ( Au jus, onions, and gravy) on the side. I order mine medium well. It did not have a charred crust ughhh it was just burnt on top. I didn’t taste any herbs. So thank goodness I ordered Maggiano’s style on the side. The steak itself was a good cut and was tender. The sides were good!
We also had the Pomegranate Martini which is my fav and the GiGi’s loaf cake. Which is soooooo Good! Our server was Awesome.
I like that this restaurant emphasizes that they specialize in Italian American food and not authentic Italian. The food was okay, on par with Olive Garden, but more expensive. The ambiance is nice for a date, but also good to bring the entire family. Our server was slow, considering it was only 2 of us, but she was extremely nice. All in all it was a good experience, unfortunately the food was not memorable at all and I won't be returning any time soon.
This location is consistently excellent. The food and the service are both outstanding and there are not many places where old-school Italian cuisine and ambiance can be found. This Maggiano's is versatile as it is appropriate for a fancy night out or for a casual dinner. Large groups can be accommodated and they have function rooms for even larger groups and special events.
I love the food and usually go for a pasta dish or the chicken parm, but they have seasonal specials that are worth trying as well. The deserts are huge and good for sharing.
The restaurant is usually busy so a reservation is well worth having. There is parking in the Pointe Orlando garage next door and the restaurant will provide a voucher for the parking.
As always, the food was incredibly tasty. We used to live in Chicago and went to Maggiano's frequently. Since moving to Port Charlotte Florida, the only 2 Maggiano's are in Tampa and Orlando. So everytime we are in these cities, we have dinner there. The food is always consistent, and the service is usually quite good.
Probably the best Italian restaurant in Orlando that I've eaten at. We took an uncle and aunt there to celebrate his birthday and we all enjoyed it immensely. Stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Pasta with shrimps, chicken park and eggplant dishes were fantastic. Try the dessert sampler platter! Every dessert was delicious. They even brought out a cookie tray with Happy Birthday written in chocolate for our uncle. All were impressed. Next time I visit Orlando, I'll be back!
As usual, Manggianos is a perfect place to go to for birthdays. It was mine and my friend's birthdays this week and they brought dessert and a decorated dish with candles for both of us. The staff is friendly and so accommodating in making sure our visit was a memorable occasion.
You do not have to wait to enjoy this jewel on Independence Ave, Orlando. Visit anytime and you will be treated like a human instead of just a person spending money.
Reservations are definitely recommended because this place is very busy. Nice, refined atmosphere, great waiter. Food was very good, especially the Rigatoni D, and chocolate brownie dessert. Slightly more expensive than Olive Garden but worth it. ($66 for two with no
My wife and I enjoyed our dinner experience, as well as the service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff went out if their way to help us celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. Thank you and look forward to a return visit
