Maggiano's - Oak Brook Ratings and Reviews
We have always enjoyed every visit at Maggianos. The food is delicious and everyone has a good time. For the first time ever our waitress was not up to par with what we have always experienced in the past. Our guest noted that she was rude after our first meeting with her. She did not smile much and when she did it looked forced. We were going to have another drink and she brought us our bill without asking if we wanted desert or more drinks. Still Maggianos is a favorite of ours.
Food was great , service was great, but we were seated, on top of the service area where they bring the clean dishes and such.. for using Open Table and having a reservation not happy to be seated on top of carts rolling next to us . There shouldn’t even be a table there it was so tight as far as room to even pull your chair out. Next time I will call and ask specifically for a booth. It was our 38th wedding anniversary . We were not happy.
The food is always good. It was very crowded and we waited 20 minutes beyond our reservation time after arriving 15 minutes early. I feel The downside to the restaurant is the price of wine. A bottle of Pinot noir that retails for 15.00 is 50.00 and a glass of that same wine I'd 18.00 for a nine ounce glass. Toooo toooo much.
The restaurant was nice but they should have someone who greet the customers and make sure people are comfortable and have been taken care of. When my party got there, they were unsure where to go to be seated. I guess the entrance and the host booth is set up wrong!
We've eaten there a number of times in the past, and as usual, the food was excellent. This particular visit it was so chilly (30's outside), most of the diners had to keep their coats on. Also our waitress , while pleasant and knowledgeable, was not very attentive, hard to find, and had to make 2 trips for everything we requested (butter, drink refills, dessert menu, etc.) Despite this not being an A+ experience, we will more than likely return.
Our waitress was outstanding. The Salmon Oscar divine. It is ALWAYS loud in this place so it is hard on the ears. It is ALWAYS crowded in this place so you are about 3 inches away from the next table. The coffee is luke warm. It is also expensive. With that said, the good is typically good so it is a safe bet.
Once again, Maggiano's delivered. Had a reservation for 5:45 and was seated at 5:45.
Our server Randi was friendly and reviewed the menu and she told us about all the specials.Bread, butter, and lemon wedges were brought out immediately. Our water glasses were kept full and the server was very attentive without hovering over us. We were not rushed to finish our appetizers or salads so they could bring the main course.( Some restaurants do that to turn their tables) The food was as expected, great and plenty of it. In this fast paced world Maggiano's lets you relax and enjoy your meal. We will keep recommending, and bringing our friends to Maggiano's

Everything was amazing! Had a reservation for 15 people...and our table was ready and we were seated on time. The service was amazing! We had several couples and each couple asked for separate checks...and the servers were very accommodating to that request and well as other requests. The food...omg, the food was AMAZING!!! Every time I go to Maggiano's to eat, they NEVER disappoint!!! Will def be going back!!!
Celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary!! (Just my husband and I)...
We had a great evening!! We had to change our reservation time, (from 6:45 to 7:45) and it worked out better for our purposes. However, when we got there (on time), was told out was about a 10 minute wait..... more like 25 :(..
Food was delicious and portion was just enough, wasn’t rushed, service was good; had delicious dessert (Creme brûlée).
We are planning on returning for Christmas Eve dinner)!!
