Maggiano's - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Went for our Anniversary, worst experience ever, we’ve always loved Maggiano’s...bad service, mediocre food, our table was given away to another party even though we reserved through the opentable app...extremely disappointed after eating at several different Maggiano’s many times.
We were there to celebrate my birthday. I have eaten at several Maggianos but it's the first time at this location. My mother has many food allergies. The Executive Chef came to our table to discuss her entrée and allergies with her as well as the Maitre d to discuss her dessert. I really appreciated the hands on approach as her allergic reactions can be severe, it made her feel very comfortable. The restaurant was very busy and yet we still received excellent service. And of course the food was awesome as well.
Overall always a positive experience, however not ideal for waiting for your table. We had a 6:45 reservation and checked in at 6:40. When the whole party arrived at 6:45 we were told to wait (they moved us to a different area where we were standing). At 7:15 we went and asked when our table would be ready as we had a young child and they told us they had been calling our name over and over again. Strange how there were 7 of us standing right by the hostess and the man that told us to move and none of us ever heard our name being called (and I assure you we were paying patiently!). Finally sat 30 min after res time. After that, it was a great experience.
As always, Maggiano's never disappoints! My sister-in-law and I come to Vegas once a year in December, to celebrate our birthdays - and we ALWAYS make sure we come to Maggiano's! Their spaghetti with meatballs is to DIE for! The calamari is always fresh and tasty. This time, we tried a couple of their Bruchettas...YUM!! We'll have to save room next time for more of those! (I'd have attached pictures, but the upload photos area wouldn't accept them for some reason!)
Service is always very good. We have a favorite waiter (Eli), but he was off when we visited this time. However, all the waiters there are very good.
We'll be back!
I had organized a large group that met for a week long conference and Maggiano's was amazing when it came to being very accommodating. We started with a party of 12 which became 13. I was able to update it on the phone with no issue. Since we were a large group, we had to order Family Style and choose our menu items prior to the meal. I had one person who was gluten-free (celiac), one low-carb, and two that could not eat mushrooms. To say choosing items was a challenge would be true, however, the crew at Maggiano's didn't even bat an eyelash at this. The chef that evening came out to verify our menu and speak with our friend that required gluten-free. The chef was able to make side plates of what was ordered just for him so it was safe. He even mentioned that the fried prosciutto that came on the chopped salad would not be safe for him because it's prepared near gluten products, so he would prepare a separate bowl anyway for him - something we didn't know about even though I had verified the dish did not come with any gluten-based items.
The food was delicious and filling. I was even able to take back to my hotel room the remains of the braised beef contadina - beautiful slow cooked beef that fell apart in your mouth. I was initially worried folks would want more, but we had a few platters with food left on them by the end of the evening. Wine selection was excellent and I was even able to have an after dinner espresso that reminded me of my first in Italy years ago. The tiramisu was delicious and I wished I had the platter of it all to myself. Overall, I loved dining at Maggiano's and I would return there on our next visit to Las Vegas.
I came here on my 21st birthday while on vacation in Vegas. It exceeded my expectations! Not only was the food amazing but you get a lot of it. The amazing view and awesome waiter topped off the perfect evening. Will definitely return next time I’m near one!
We had a large group- it was nice to order in advance because we were required to do family style- but we were very disappointed in the food. It had very little flavor and had that packaged flavor like food you microwave. And, for the price the gratuity should have been included. I would not recommend the food. Maybe single serve orders would have had more flavor.
This was Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. I am totally amazed as to how they managed to feed as many people as they obviously did yet make it be an unhurried, relaxed holiday dining experience. Everything was absolutely wonderful. I'll definitely do it again next year!!!
We went for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a preset menu and the pricing was a lot lower than other restaurants int he area and included a lot more food. We were just two people and it was still served family style, leaving us with a lot of leftovers to take home. It was a great value - the atmosphere was festive and great for the kick off to the holiday season. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.
Wife and I made reservations for Thanksgiving dinner. We only waited a few minutes to be seated. Quite noisy and felt a bit rushed but expected being Thanksgiving. Food was absolutely delicious with a nice selection from the 4 coarse menu. While the price seemes a bit high ($45/ea), the quality and amount of food was well worth it as were the reservations on a busy day.
