Was good until I found a hair in my food. My meal was comped but lost my appetite.
Service was just ok. The place was very crowded. our table of three was squished in between 2 large tables. very uncomfortable. We will probably go again, but ask for a window table. and inspect our food closer before I take the first bite. Very disappointed in Maggiano's for being neglectful of not checking the food closer before sending it to the table.
The food at Maggiano’s was wonderful as always. I tried the shrimp scampi and you wouldn’t believe how many shrimp there were. Our server, Ally, was wonderful as well!
Always a great place to hold a lunch meeting.
Delicious chicken parmigiana with side salad... delicious and nutritious. Excellent service.
We had a party of 16 and the service was excellent!! Our servers were both great! Rico was very attentive and knowledgeable and personable!! All of our guests loved the food and the restaurant!! Great time!!
We always try Houston Restaurant Week menu in different places, the Male host didn't know to mush about the menu and was confused about finding our reservation. But we enjoyed the atmosphere, waiter, and great tasting food.
Service was lousy... I told the server we wanted drinks and 20 minutes later I had to wave to her and requested again for her to take the drink order.
The male server was taking better care of us, but again, we had to beg for a drink.
Food and service very good. Took home leftovers too.
We dined after the "rush" and absolutely enjoyed it. Service was great, food was hot and good. Would definitely dine here again!
We have dined at Maggiano's many times and have never been disappointed. The food and service are always excellent.
Delicious food. Excellent service.
Always good and usually can seat you pretty quick. Very big dining area. This is original flagship
My family and myself love this place.
Food's always good.
Waiters / Waitresses are hit or miss.
My waitress this time was the slowest person I've ever seen wait tables. She came by rarely and when she did she moved in slow motion. It would take her forever to walk from the table to the kitchen, then waiting for her to come back... forget it, just ask someone else walking around if you need something.
Anyways, I'll still be back. The place is great.
Houston Restaurant Weeks menu this year (2019) includes a take home dish of pasta. What a pleasant surprise!!!!
Several of my friends did not get their take-home meals or the meals that they had the waiter box up for them. They were looking forward to finishing their meals later but the boxed food was never brought back to the table and we didn't realize until we were already in our cars.
The staff and service was terrific. We didn’t like our table because we felt a little cramped and it was close to the kitchen (kitchen noise) so we asked to move and they kindly made it happen.. our server was kind, the food was (as always) amazing and we enjoyed the evening.
Wonderful meal. Great service, comfortable atmosphere, and overall a great dining experience.
This was our waitresses first night but you would never know it. She was excellent. I would recommend Maggiano’s to anyone. A great value. I will probably go again this week.
The food was delicious. Our waitress was pronominal!!! She had the chef come speak to our guest with food allergies. She was very patient, as we took forever! She was also very informative, attentive and even took time to take pictures of our table. We will definitely be back.
We drive from The Woodlands for this food. We love it!
Had lunch @ Maggiano's little Italy on 2019 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056 to meet up with friends. The experience was very good, thanks.🙂👍🏽
Always a great choice for the family. You can't go wrong here. Super-sized portions with enough for another meal.
We had a lovely evening. Thank you very much. It was nice to linger over cheesecake while we waited for the storm to pass.
Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Bread and dipping sauce were yummy. Our food didn't take too long to prepare and it was all good, and nice to be able to take some home for the next day.
Great ambience. We have been coming here since the years we lived in Houston. We live in San Antonio now.
The Magg here is not comparable so we save our Magg experiences for the times we visit Houston, though we cannot take advantage of the take home offer since we are traveling.
Houston Magg experience is more refined, Post Oak has more culture.
Waiter was a little dingy. Had a to ask for bread three times. Think $8.50 for dessert is high. An obvious profit center for you.
There were two big long tables of little kids for birthday parties, so obviously noise and commotion levels were high. Wonder if they would be better off in a private dining room vs. middle of the dining room. ESP. On sat nite! Less distracting.
Really enjoyed dinner at Maggiano's! Service was outstanding, waiter was able to remember everything by memory. Nice touch! Very friendly and always had our drinks topped up! Really enjoy this restaurant's ambiance and how they continue to keep things classy (white cloth tables, candles, wait staff attire). Outside curb appeal of the restaurant is nice with seated covered areas and vegetation. Food tasted great and came out hot! Prices were extremely reasonable. Glad you're able to take a dish home of your choice! That tasted amazing as well! Keep up the good work!
We had a unusually unpleasant dining experience. We ordered our food along with a salad and an appetizer. The mushroom appetizer arrived and we had enough time to cut one in half before our food was at the table. Then after several more minutes, the salad arrived, which we declined. The food was still delicious, but at that point, it was hard to get beyond feeling that they just wanted to flip the table. It was very disappointing.
We will go back, but if we order an appetizer or salad, we will not order our food until after the salad and appetizer arrives.
Amazing evening! We enjoyed our evening celebrating a 60th birthday with family and friends!
Our party was 11 people (8 adults and 3 kids). It made sense to select family meal, every started good getting beverages but our waiter got mixed up with a couple of beers chosen by uncle and father in law. We thought it was just a misunderstanding, but after that we started to experience delays on the food coming out way, we had to use our small plates you get for bread to use them for salad, then when our appetizer came it was rapidly depleted but just to get it refilled took again a longer time. At that point we were desperate and we asked manager or the captain to speed things up but it took them 10-15 more minutes to send them rest of meals. I’m not sure if kitchen was the problem or the waiter having more tables to serve but the experience was not as expected.
We dined at Maggiano’s for their great food and service.
The food was quite good but the server was having a bad day, I suppose.
After taking our orders and dropping
Off food, he was MIA. We had to ask another server for refills on drinks and other issues.
When he finally came by to drop off the bill I was overcharged for my entree.
We will return to Maggianos but will ask for different waiter if he is assigned to our table.
Food 5 star but service one star on this visit.
Food was excellent, price was a little expensive, great atmoshere & service was average.
Good food. Friendly staff. Tonight, the service was a tad bit slower than we were accustomed to. Overall, it was good.
Wonderful experience. We made 8 meals out of our dinner for two!!!! What a bargain for something better than u could possibly cook!
We had to wait 8-10 minutes before the waiter appeared and water was brought to the table. On a very hot Houston day, that makes a difference. Otherwise, the service was good.
One of our favorite restaurants in Houston. Big portions, great tasting food, usually an extra to go so we get to eat it again later! Service is attentive without being overbearing.
We had the worst table seating and it was hot in the restaurant. They seemed understaffed. Our server was very friendly, but we waited for example 20 min for our bottle of wine. One dish had packaging debris in it.
Server was very nice but rest of experience was just ok, but I guess its what you get when it has red and white checkered table cloths.
We had amazing rigatoni arrabbiata with grilled chicken tonight. The Italian chopped salads were good and our waitress was awesome.
Great place to celebrate. Good wine good food. GF available. Close to the Galleria.
Always fresh, top quality, good pricing. And the bread!!
