Maggiano's - Farmers Market Ratings and Reviews
The wait staff at Maggiano's is well-trained to make you feel at home. Our server was Sarah, and she was terrific! So warm and friendly - we enjoyed chatting with her every time she stopped by the table (don't worry, it was a slower night, so we weren't taking her away from her duties to other tables).
The food is delicious. They have a "buy one, take one home" deal on the pastas, which is great. The portion sizes are quite large as well, so you definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth.
The restaurant has a fun, family vibe to it, from the checkered tablecloths to the large parties of family and friends having a casual dinner out.
The restaurant was beautiful with delicious true to Italian cuisine. It was the perfect place to dress casual or dress up for special occasions. Our waiter was friendly and provided great service. It was TrueType delicious and will be back when we visit LA again!
The host was not nice at all did not make eye contact when I said I had a reservation, he rudely said follow me , when he handed me the menu’s I asked about brunch menu ( it was my first time at Maggiano’s for brunch ) with attitude he said “you pull it out” as if I was supposed to know this , not written anywhere and he kept yawning , the waiter on the other hand was amazing he listened to all my request , made suggestions and always had a smile on his face , the host should learn from him , I love maggianos and always have a great experience, this host looked like he was not happy to be working
This was my first time here, but it definitely won't be my last! We had brunch and mimosas, and everything was beyond delicious! The staff was extremely friendly and warm. Best restaurant experience I've encountered in a very long time! I will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful experience at Maggiano’s. We came for my sisters birthday and there were 11 of us. The waiter was amazing. He kept everyone’s need in mind-including 2 serious gluten free people. There was plenty of food!!! Great wine as well, and everything tasted great.
I’ve been here several times. Each time the quality gets worse. The spaghetti was dry and lacked flavor. The fettucini was good. The best thing seems to be the salads and bread. Our waiter tried his best and was pretty good, although he tried pushing the family lunch on us for $35 a person. Thin females and kids can’t eat that much.
I always love Maggianos and have normally experienced good service all around. This time however the confusion of the waiting area made is really frustrating. Many people with the same name where called and then left to figure out who was going with the host to their table. So needless to say that the beginning to our night was not the best. After that though our experience was great and the food was delicious as always.
This is our go to place for spaghetti and meatballs and a salad. Large portions - we split the meal. And are able to take one home free of charge - a great value! The food is excellent quality for a chain restaurant - all sauces, etc. are made fresh daily. The noise level is VERY loud when crowded. Great place for parties as they have additional rooms aside from the main dining area.
The only problem we had was the directions from the app. It took us to the opposite direction so we were ten minutes late for our reservation. We had our 80 year old mother with us and had to make her walk all over The Grove to find the restaurant. It would be great if the directions were more accurate for tourists like us.
Maggiano's is my all time fave when it comes to Italian restaurant but I was a bit disappointed that night. Our food came in so late, we came first and the table right next to us got their food faster than us, they were 4 and we were just 2. I had to call our server's attention and ask about our food. The manager gave us 30% off from our check anyway.
Food wasn’t that great. I ordered a seafood with pasta. The food came in a heap enough to feed a horse. They concentrated on quantity not quality. The mussels and crab was overdone.
I like to go to a restaurant and be wowed with the taste of the food but it’s was very disappointing. I cook a better pasta than your chef!
