Maggiano's - Denver Pavilions Ratings and Reviews
The place was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The Alfredo had a weird after taste. It’s like the flour in the sauce did not cook long enough or the sauce separated once the cream was added. I feel like the quality and portions have gone down over the last year. We won’t be celebrating our special occasions here anymore.
My wife and were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We had booked a room and tickets to an early show so we could have a nice dinner downtown. We hadn't tried Maggiano's,we made reservations and were very glad we did! Everything was wonderful starting with the staff, ambiance and of course the food which is delicious! We cant wait to go back. Thank you
Maggiano’s is never a disappointment for me. The service has always been great and the food is always awesome. The one recommendation would be to have a variety of bread such as brucheta, wheat or Focaccia. Focaccia would be wonderful. Even with that said the bread might just be like a white Italian bread but is always very fresh. I highly recommend Maggiano’s
Took my fiance here to celebrate our engagement. Our server Juan Carlos was the best waiter I have ever had. He was nice and even told the Chef about our engagement and brought us out finger cookies to congratulate us. They have a killer deal where you can get two meals and two to take home plus desert for 50 bucks! The only negative, as a gay couple we did feel a little out of place here with the looks of other people, nonacceptance vibe. Pfft, like this isn't 2017 with legalized gay marriage.
We gave this place a try on our trip to Denver. I was very impressed with the authentic taste and large portions. I am a large eater and could only finish 1/2 the veal parm. The setting is very nice, too. The location is excellent and the staff is friendly.
I made a reservation for this meal and specified that I wanted a table of both next to a wall (Its quieter). When we were seated initially it was in the middle of the floor. I reiterated my request and was told they can't hold tables like that. What ever table comes up is what you get. Well I asked what is the purpose of a reservation. She went away and came back and said it would be another 10-20 minutes for my request. I was not pleased. Another woman came over and said there was a table by the wall we could have now, so we were seated at a both next to the wall. I don't think the initial staff handled that very well at all. Again, what is the purpose of a reservation if not to suit the customers needs. The rest of the evening went well but it was not off to a good start.
We were there for my brother's birthday. Additionally, this was my mother's first visit to Maggiano's. We were very impressed with the attention of the staff and the service. The food was excellent. Please note, we have made a family decision to return soon.
Thank you for a memorable experience.
I come here every week and this was just a bad experience our server forgot our drinks .. Asked for extra dressing on the salad was not on there. Asked for no spinach on my chicken and it came with spinach and he did offer us desert .. Gave some hard cookies Was just disappointed
We enjoyed another great dinner at Maggiano's with family! The food was delicious (only thing to add was that the calamari was not as good as usual...too much breading) and the atmosphere very nice. The service is always great. We are looking forward to returning during the Christmas season!
PWe made a reservation for 8:15pm so we arrived at 8:05pm. We waited 45 minutes and we waited just as if we were walk-ins. We were given the WORSE table with one of us having to move to the other side or we were continually going to be bumped by the servers. The waitress didn't ask if we wanted drinks so I didn't ordered one because I guess they don't need that money. They brought me out the wrong dish, I had to wait for her to come back so I could ask her to fix it. It took 20 minutes to come back, and by that time my husband was done with his meal (He would have waited but I insisted he eat). I thought I would tell a manager because they usually follow a problem with food... but not one of them came by. I saw two, but they wanted to play with the staff instead. Food was lowsy tonight. The salad was good. We paid a high fee for parking on top of all this. And i had to think... how much did we pay to wait for our bad meals tonight. We WERE regulars, but I don't think anymore.
Haven't been here for 1+ years. The wait is absurdly long, always, and still is. Reservations made in advance delayed by 20 minutes on a weekday. This sort of forces patrons to wait in the bar, where much money is spent- - - perhaps less than if sitting at supper.
Service is slow, but servers very, very good. In the end, with a couple of drinks (house wine or one step above), expect to spend a total of $50 per head- - - although this doesn't account for being able to take home entire "extra" pasta meals, which truly are ridiculously good values, all things considered. And, food is consistently good, no problems. All in all (in all), I'd give it a 3.8 rating.
The food and service was good but having a reservation in advance doesn’t do you any good. I had reservations for a special occasion on Saturday at 7:00 at 7:35 they still could not seat us so we ended up finding a small table in the bar area. It would have been nice to be seated at the time of my reservation.
Terribly disappointing experience compared to previous visits. Server was unattentive; he didn’t refill drinks, didn’t bring bread to the table as promised, forgot ordered beverages, and didn’t deliver take home meals. Even worse, 4 out of the 5 of us got sick hours after the meal. So bummed because we usually love the food and service here.
First off, let me say I like Maggiano's. The food is great, and the times we have dinned there, it's been very good. However, this last time on Oct 28th wasn't so good. Our reservations were for 6:30, we arrived at the restaurant at 6:35. The line just to get to the hostess station was very long, and it took us just over 15 minutes to get to the seating hostess. By the time we got there, the hostess informed us we were late. We explained why were late, and she was nice about it, but the next table wouldn't be available for another 45 minutes. We had tickets to a show at the Paramount Theater, so we couldn't wait that long. Maybe staff the hostess station with a few more people when there is that many folks waiting ? Again, I like this restaurant, and this will not stop me from going again, I guess we will have to show 30 minutes before our reservation time on busy nights though.
Food was great and plentiful. The server was inept. We ordered the Family Style meal for four. The entree dishes were brought to the table all at once and would not fit the table. The server was not around to help figure out what to do leaving the poor kitchen delivery guy holding the plates. Once we shuffled things around on the table and served food to our smaller plates we were able to fit the remaining plates on the table. Following the entrees, the server disappeared again and we waited at least 20 minutes to order the dessert. It came slowly leaving us little time to get to our performance at the Paramount Theater. We had planned 2.5 hours for dinner thinking this was enough time to make the performance. Server incompetence delayed our dinner through the various courses and when he scheduled all the entrees to arrive at one time he exceeded the space available on the table.
Seated us promptly, honored our booth request. Food was outstanding, but heard they quickly ran out of the seasonal butternut squash!! That was the reason I went, good thing I got mine - it was delicious! Food was great, service was a wonderful - a bit understaffed, but all was good!
A great evening - THANK YOU MAGGIANOS!
