Celebrating Easter with our daughter, son in law and granddaughter
enjoy coming to maggiano's, no surprises, food is always the same (good), reservation wait time is minimal and the service is almost always very good.
Maggiano’s has become our Easter tradition for the past 7 years. On this occasion we did not receive the great service we normally receive. Our server greeted us by saying how busy it is. She proceeded to drop off 2 place settings for each of us. I initially thought she was being efficient. However what turned out happening was she was very unattentive. They only time we saw her was to take our order, fill our water glass, remove dishes, take our dessert order and drop off our bill. She never came back to check on us. We ordered from the Easter Famlly style menu. We did not receive our entire meal and she did not even notice. The food was very good.
Great Easter lunch with my family. Always enjoy Maggianos.
The food was very good but didn’t arrive in a timely fashion at times. It seemed the servers were very very rushed, perhaps too many tables assigned to allow attention to customers. They kitchen brought someone else’s order to our table! This also happened to the people seated next to us. Servers need fewer tables. Everything else seemed fine.
Service and food were good
We originally had a reservation for 11:30, but arrived at 10:45. They were able to sit us immediately. Our server, Emmanuel, greeted us at our table very quickly and took our drink order. He returned to explain the menu options and continued to check on us periodically throughout the meal. He was very friendly and accommodating and did an fantastic job overall. Food was great as usual. We will definitely be coming back soon.
When I made our reservation, I asked for a quiet, private table since it was my birthday. We did not receive what I asked for — instead the hostess passed up at least two nicer booths while escorting us to our table. It was only 3:15pm and not that busy. Server was pleasant but was too busy with a larger table full of college aged young people who all requested separate checks. While we understand that was super time consuming for our server, we were neglected. Typically, we LOVE this particular Maggiano’s even though we have to drive for an hour to dine here. But our experience today will make us think twice about coming back.
My food was cold and the appearance was not appealing. The server seem to rush us for everything as if she was in a hurry to turn the table over. When I ask for a to-go container, she pulled one from another table and failed to provide me with a bag. They leave much to be desired at this location.
Excellent food and service. Was happy to conduct our business lunch there and would do it again.
Great food which is always consistent and wonderful service.
Great! As always!!
Great service, I was a little disappointed with my Orchetta dish.
Shrimp fettuccine Alfredo was plus
Something you can do nothing about “PARKING” is awful at this location actually keeps me away from coming more. The restaurant is alway and I mean always uncomfortably cold in your
Location. Not sure the reason but my wife has to alway bring a heavy jacket just to be comfortable. We ask the wait staff but nothing ever happens. Food always great and our server was outstanding. Very attentive to all our needs we will be back just not as quickly as we would like given some concerns. Thank you for listening and may God bless you on this Holy Week.
It’s not the best Italian food I’ve had. The chicken Alfredo was bland. I had to put so much salt on it to give it flavor bc the chicken was horrible! The spaghetti and meatballs was ok. I don’t think I’ll go back. The service however was fast and attentive.
Amazing food and service every time! Never fails!!!
Service was a bit slow. Took the server time to make his rounds back to the table but the food was good.
Lots and lots of food when you go family style. Some dishes were good and others were very good. The Barbera was great and a good value.
The dining experience was superb. Yasmine was server extraordinaire. The first time we had had brunch there and it was all that I imagined the ideal brunch experience should be. Will go again
The overall experience was a little disappointing for us as we usually love Maggiano's. The waitress was serving too many large parties and instead of listening to what we needed, she would just pass us, tell us, "I got you" and then would bring something that we didn't need from the kitchen. Whether it be the wrong dessert and telling us that the correct one wasn't ready yet, more drinks (when we needed silverware), refills for the family dinner of things we didn't ask for, and then bringing the correct things after she stopped long enough to listen. It was very chaotic and not our usual experience. I am hoping this was just an off incident, but please correct this behavior. It was annoying and although I still tipped at 50 percent. I usually tip 100 for good service. It is important to my continued business.
Excellent service and food! Experience is consistently great which is why I usually go once every two weeks!
I had seen the other ATL location near Lenox Mall and had thought sometime about eating there despite the so-so parking lot situation. This venture to see Shen Yun's Opening Night on 4/5/19 (Friday) at Cobb Energy Center, staying in a nearby hotel and noticing one dining establishment Maggiano's Restaurant nearby (courtesy shuttle provided from hotel) sealed the deal for me, along with an 'Welcome to the Maggiano's Family' e-coupon. Enjoyed the Shrimp Scampi and Cici's Rolls very much on Friday afternoon with water as had time to return to hotel before leaving for show; then ate there again the next afternoon prior to driving home as ordered a cup Chicken & Potato Soup, then Veal Piccata with angel hair option instead of spaghetti. All was wonderful with excellent service, generous portions, a little pricy though (depending on what one ordered) and thankful to have used $10 e-coupon (realized with fine print only valid with $30 meal, therefore the reason for ordering that veal and soup first). Noticed inside lobby plaque the original location is in Chicago which is neat. I liked dining there and hope to return to either location sometime.
We had the most wonderful experience at the Maggiano's Cumberland. We arrived a bit early and took a seat in a booth in the bar. Tutt took wonderful care of us, and we couldn't have had a better time. Our friends had a steak and chicken marsala and raved about both of them; we came for pasta and one of us had the pepperoni and shrimp in arrabiata over pasta and I had the gnocchi and sausage in a vodka cream sauce. Everything was outstanding. And then we were able to take home a couple of pasta dishesfor enjoyment at home. Just wish we were closer to Maggiano's PERFECT!
Great place dine. The food, atmosphere, and service were outstanding!
Concert night out with my three kids
Server could have been friendlier. Extremely dirty glasses. She blamed it on the bar/dishwashers. As a server, she should have inspected the glasses before presenting them.
Food was good— a little slow.
First time here. Food was great. It was prom night so service was a bit slow.
We made a reservation for 5:15 and arrived at 5:05. We were not seated until around 5:25ish and after that we had to wait until 6:00 until we were asked for our drink choices. After that our drinks arrived around 10 minutes later and we were asked for our meal choices. We then had to wait 50 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did they had made an error with one our our orders. The food was subpar and the wait was terrible. We also asked for more bread 3 times and we did not receive any. We had rented a limo and it ran on a time and since we had to wait for so long I had to pay an extra 50 to the driver to extend our time. We ended up having to take our desserts and food to go because they didn’t arrive until 7:10. Finally when we were paying the bill I chose to give them an 18% gratuity, which was not deserved, but my total with gratuity was 54 dollars I gave them 60 dollars and was not given my change or my receipt. Since we were in a hurry I left but am still angered at the fact the server had the audacity to not give me my change after having treated us so poorly. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone because it is simply an overpriced Olive Garden, except Olive Garden has better service.
We enjoy Maggiano's because the value is good and the food is incredible and we had a coupon for $10 dollars off...
Outstanding food and service
The food was fantastic. The servers were quick and friendly. It was a little on the loud side which made conversation difficult.
love it, love the food, the music, and the servers are nice
Food was over cooked. Disappointing based on other Maggiano’s experiences. Serve was a little slow.
I’ve been to the Cumberland Mall Maggianos four times in the last few months. The experience has been consistently good.
This location is always top shelf. They have no control over the parking (at a mall) so outside of that, I enjoy every visit.
This is my family’s “special” place for special occasions!
