Maggiano's - Columbia

A good evening

I first ate at Maggianos in Vegas 7 years ago and have been to the Columbia one several time. Everything is always top notch. I only wish I lived closer.

Food was great, service was quick. The take home pasta meals make this a great value.

We made a reservation here because of the location. We had dined here before. We were seated as soon as we arrived. Our server Immediately greeted us and began our service. He took our drink order and then he took our appetizer order. He was very cordial and made good suggestions for our dinner. He brought out our drinks and made sure that everything was going as we liked. He brought out our appetizers and then our dinner items. He checked back and made sure everything was fine. We had a good dining experience and will dine here again.

Unfortunately the server failed to return my credit card and I didn’t notice. Cancelled, another replacing it. My companion received the wrong order as the pasta to take home. Not one of your better performances.

Food was good but it took some time to get it. Appetizer came quickly but not the entree

Food was very good, as always. Server was nice but not overly attentive.

Enjoyed a quiet time of day for lunch (or “linner “) with a friend.

Excellent service, excellent food, nice ambiance, very friendly place. The only downside is the noise; too loud for conversations, in part because the music is too loud.

Food good. Service mediocre, noise overwhelming and it was cold and drafty being seated near front door.

We had 9 people for a Birthday celebration. Our server seemed overwhelmed. Took 2 and 1/2 hrs to get through dinner. Not impressed.

Maggiano's is a great value with many options. Their stuffed mushroom appetizer is fantastic. We have noticed that it is always "energetic" and packed in tight on the floor. If you can get a raised booth, you can have a more private conversation without shouting across the table. The noise level on the floor can make it difficult to hear your waiter. The food is always very good and the value of the take home meals cannot be beat.

Celebrated my birthday with dinner here. Three out of four meals were thoroughly enjoyed. The eggplant Parmesan was not liked by my mother. Three of our dinners came with the take-a-meal-home option which was great. Our server, Darius, was fantastic! The only noise issue came from a very loud table near us but there’s nothing you can do about that.

My mom and I had such a great time at Maggiano's. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking
for some good Italian food.

Brunch was quite good today, I had the Ricotta Pancakes with the whiskey version of the Bloody Mary. My girlfriend had Eggs Benedict with the crab cake with a Mimosa. This was a nice change of pace from the 2 previous dinners. Our waiter D'Arcy did an excellent job taking care of us also.

I’ve been to maggianos a handful of times and each time I was disappointed. For my nephews birthday, this was his choice. Service was slow and poor despite the restaurant not being very busy. Food arrived and the pesto dish I received was very translucent in color as if much pesto wasn’t actually used. The sauce was very sweet and the chicken was bland. Another chicken dish for our table - bland, a shrimp pasta dish - the shrimp were way over cooked and rubbery. The server swapped out the shrimp dish without an issue but it was late in the evening and the rest of the table was just ready to leave. $80 on dinner that was mediocre at best. Idk what type of pesto sauce maggianos makes but I was afraid it would make me sick If I continued to eat it. It’s sad that this prime location cant get it right.

Food is always good and hot. In addition, the staff provides a great experience every time.

Love Maggiano. I know it was New Years Eve, but this is the second time in a row that we were seated in the only awkwardly elevated table directly next to the bar - what seems to be the "overflow" table. This always makes you feel like your eating at the little kids table during the holidays. There were booths and normal tables available. This knocks the experience down for me.

The extra to go pasta choice is a great customer take away. Only downside is the portions use to be very large now they are average but overall food still good.

Everything was amazing! The staff was very friendly, professional and attentive. We had more than enough food to keep everyone happy. They even seamlessly handled impromptu special request. It made the night very special and stress free.

We had a large party (each ordering their own dish) and the restaurant handled it nicely on New Year's Eve. Wonderful service here. Food is fantastic.

We were still eating appetizers- large bowls of mussels when our entrees arrived. There was literally NO room on the table. By the time I was ready for my entree, it was cold. Our take homes were also delivered right after our entrees and had to be put on the floor. I eat out VERY frequently and haven’t felt this rushed in a long, long time if ever. Not a good experience and made worse because we were treating the couple with us.

Very nice experience for lunch. We ate with friends who had food allergies(dairy, tree nuts and gluten). There were lots of menu items to chose from that were either free if these ingredients or that could be modified for us. Because we had specific food requests the chef came out and spoke with us about our specific questions. He was great! Even offered to pan fry potatoes so that there wouldn’t be any cross contamination. Our waiter was very attentive also. He double checked our order and verified that our meals were indeed safe from the kitchen. We were a party of eight and had made reservations which I’d highly suggest. What I didn’t expect was the awesome take home option for some of the dishes. Six of us were able to chose another dish to take home because that’s how their me menu works. Great time! Will eat there again.

We liked the shrimp and lobster fondue as my girlfriend and I split it. The cheese was similar to French onion soup. I had the shrimp oreganata for my main course and really liked the sauce. It came with bread crumbs and tomatoes and cappellini. My girlfriend had the linguini with white clam sauce and found it divine. Chef Antwan Watson took time from his busy schedule to come out also. For dessert I couldn't finish the bread pudding so I took it home. My girlfriend had spumoni ice cream which is awesome. Brittany did a great job as our waitress. We look forward to having brunch next weekend.

Our server was new We ordered from the family style menu and she was reluctant about bringing us additional servings. She made us wait until the dish was completely gone before putting in the order for another serving which meant we had to wait.

OUTSTANDING and beyond words for a fun and delicious experience. Every staff member is polished and the owner manager, Michael is the most wonderful, kind and caring individual. He makes sure that the food is bountiful, hot and beautifully presented. Cannot wait to go again because this is the FAMILY FAVORITE.

Great place to go on Christmas Eve! Beautifully decorated, great music and delicious food. Service was great. Restaurant extremely busy at 5:15pm already. Lots of families-great atmosphere. One suggestion would be to have a Christmas Eve package dinner- special food you don’t serve any other time of year

Christmas Eve lunch, not a lot of people, but service was slow. Maybe understaffed because of holiday.

We invited the entire family to celebrate my wife's birthday. Family style was awesome. No one went away hungry and everyone even got left overs to take with them.

Had early Christmas dinner on December 23rd at Maggiano's in Columbia with my family. It was 6 of us and we had a wonderful wonderful time. We were given a table in the corner. The food was excellent as always, but the one that made the experience wonderful was our server. Danielle was a star. She made us feel like we were having dinner at her house. My husband just recently had a triple cardiac bypass surgery. Danielle can relate to that and she made my husband feel comfortable and not rushed. She made jokes , checking up on us to make sure we have everything and always making sure that my husband is ok. She is really really wonderful and made our dinner experience over the top excellent !!!!

Em is a fantastic server and knows how to make sure her customers are taken care of, down to the very last detail. One member in our party has food allergies and she followed through to ensure that the needs were met. We couldn’t have asked for a better server. We also want to send kudos to the kitchen for being so accommodating. We will be back soon!

The food was quite good, but the service was painfully slow. We didn't get our main courses until an hour and 15 minutes after we sat down. Since we had 3 kids with us, that was not a good scene.
