Maggiano's - Cherry Hill Ratings and Reviews
Service was good and then all went down hill from there. Food was just okay, bread crumbs on the calamari was awful, marinara sauce tasted like it came from a can. Wife’s salmon, house suggestion, was dry, gave it back. Grand daughters salmon oscar, said it was okay, wife finished grand daughters meal. I had veal parmigiana, pound the veal and use better bread crumbs and use better cheese. Ya know, it was almost like eating diner food. One last thing, cheesecake was good.
Food was great and I would give more stars for service if there were more stars to give. Great service. Pace of foos between courses of family style selections was perfect. The restaurant has the feel of going to a relatives house for a big sit-down meal celebration. Our group of six enjoyed the meal and had great conversation.
Food was phenomenal as usual. We are a party of six, frequent visitors. The price of family style has become exorbitant. Our waitress although attentive when present, often went missing for long periods of time. Our family style dinner usually takes 2 hours max, and this night was 3 full hours due to waiting between courses and waiting for service.
It was a very wonderful experience for being my 1st visit here.I will definitely make this my #1 dining spot. Food was excellent and prepared to perfection. And table service was outstanding by our server Patrick,I highly recommend this server and will request him every time I go. Overall it was a very pleasant evening for dinner.
We had a wonderful dinner at Maggianos Cherry Hill Mall for New Year's Eve. They have a few menus to choose from including Family style serving. Portions are very generous and should be shared. They have some interesting choices, like the Bruschetta Bar where you can choose toppings; it's on the starters menu. We had the carmelized pear and gorgonzola with balsamic; the combination was quite delicious. Three of us shared two salads: the goat cheese & beet salad along with the Caesar salad. Both salads get high marks from us. We love the freshness of their simple Caesar salad. My chardonnay accompanied a grilled salmon with spinach and side of garlic mash potatoes; both are a favorite of mine. Traditional spaghetti with marinara and mushrooms was very luscious, satisfying to our vegetarian. The Lobster Carbonara was a generous portion, beautiful and yummy! Ending the meal with a silky serving of Creme Brûlée made the evening very special. We look forward to our next visit to Maggianos, Cherry Hill.
Our waiter Anthony was a champ. Very good guy. Food was phenomenal. The Marcos meal for two is a fabulous value as my wonderful girlfriend and I enjoyed our meal at the restaurant and are looking forward to devour our take home plate tomorrow. That’s right, everyone gets a complimentary take home plate. Top it off with a decadent brownie beneath vanilla ice cream, you have yourself a fantastic meal
I’ve dined family style before. The food was good and plentiful but I had an issue with my special request not. Ring honored and catching the waitress making weird faces as she turned from our table. She would smile and seem like our experience was important, but when we requested more refills she seemed bothered. We had to ask for things a few times and the food was not up to par as we know it can be. It’s a lot of money to leave feeling torn between not getting the full service and still appreciating being out as a family.
Had reservations for 5:30 it wasn’t real busy but they sat us all the way in back right outside the kitchen. Where I was bumped on elbow no less than 5 times by servers coming out with food. Then a server dropped a tray of food on the way out right next to us. As I watched the restaurant fill in as we ate couldn’t help but wonder why a smaller table for two or three wasn’t set up by kitchen and a party of 5 placed somewhere else. It really did put a damper on what either wise was a nice evening out for my family and I.
The food was pretty good. Our mozzarella marinara was not quite hot, but it was warm enough that we didn’t send it back. All of the other food was great.
I was a little upset that they charged me for my 3 year old to eat Family Style when 5 and under are suppoed to be free. We had a big party amd a few drinks on the bill so I didn’t check it until we left.
Visited Dec. 24 for annual family Christmas Eve dinner. As usual, everything was fantastic. Our server Vinnie was friendly, helpful and on top of everything. The young lady ( I really wish I knew her name because she was one of the hardest working people I've seen in the hospitality business) who catered to setting our table and making sure our water glasses were filled was very welcoming. The food was exceptional ( Filet Mignon, Crab Cakes and Chicken Parmigiana). If you're looking for a place to go and enjoy an excellent meal with top notch service and ambience, this is the place. Thanks Maggiano's for once again starting our holiday off with a fabulous dinner.
Our server was amazing. Very attentive to what kind of food we were interested in. It was very busy for Christmas eve, but our reservation online made it worth it. We were seated within 5 min of checking in and had gotten there early. The food was amazing. Definitely will be going back in the near future.
