Maggiano's - Bridgewater Ratings and Reviews
Many things were lacking in this visit. My request for a quiet table to hold a business meeting got us a table in the middle of the loud room. Server was not good, he did not listen to requests and frequently was missing. I will not look to Maggianos to hold further meetings.
Though we had our reservation, we had to wait for 15 minutes for table arrangement. Overall experience was fine, but did not exceed my expectations.
Food was good, waitress was very prompt and courteous. We were given a corner table which could barely fit all the cutleries, that was a little disappointing.
We went there on Valentine's Day and our entrees came before we finished the appetizers. Felt we were rushed. BUT the server who waited on us was excellent (not the same person who brought our entrees).
However, the food was very good, and the pricing was very reasonable. We'll go back again (not on a holiday), and see if their service is better (I expect it will be).
Food was amazing I just didn’t like how the hostess gave me and my fiancée’s table away to a couple who walked in and said they were us when my last name was called and when confronted they lied about it. I was very surprised by their behavior and this customer service.
There are times when go out for Valentines dinner you feel rushed throughout your dinner.
Even though you are moving at a pace that you normally do when you are dining out.
Also alot of restaurants cut back on their menus selections. At Maggiano's in Bridgewater my wife and myself felt relax during our dinner and the full menu was available to select from. In case you are wondering the restaurant was very busy. We arrived at 7:10 for our 7:15 reservation and was seated within minutes. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasion dinners.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service and the chef actually came out to introduce himself & address any food allergies that our table may have had. Overall the food was amazing and our waiter attended to all our needs with bread basket and drink refills.
The dessert to top off our meals was delicious!
We enjoyed our meal. We ordered family style. All of the food was good, but the quantity brought out was less than anticipated. For example, we ordered spaghetti and meatballs. We were served two meatballs for 10 people. We immediately asked for more. 20 minutes later the spaghetti and meatballs had not been replenished, so we asked again. 20 additional minutes later they brought out 2 more meatballs. It was simply an insufficient amount of food and poor service response.
Although the food was extremely good , the service and wait time despite having made reservations was quite unacceptable in my opinion. The "hostess " looked annoyed and was not helpful at anytime during our 40 minute wait for a table. Although, the waitress was extremely pleasant the food was delayed , and when it did arrive the "kids meal" was missing and the untimely delays continued until the check and take home boxes arrived.
The restaurant and parking lot are always packed. Not a problem when we have a reservation though. Love the family style option for a large group. Wish they offered more/better entree choices because it is pricey, even though we usually end up eating more of the appetizer and dessert. Service was great. He catered to the kids and the chef even came out to address my son’s food allergy.
Waiter wasn't too happy when we went for Marco.s meal for two and there would be no drinking. It did not help matters when we had a 10 dollar coupon and he would not refigure the refill in order to take the amount off. It is a pain trying to figure out the tip. Not so sure that I will be back. Disappointed in service for a birthday.
Ok experience overall. Hostess had a bad attitude but we ignored it. Waiter was nice. Not an outstanding experience at all.
It’s not nice to be snubbed by a hostess who has a job is due to customers. She Needs an attitude adjustment. I do have her name as Amanda given to us by the manager. Thanks.
We made reservations for a work meet/ dinner. We checked in when we arrived and stood by host. There were 5 of us. After 40 minutes of waiting we were told that we were called earlier, however, not one of us who was standing 6 ft away from host heard. We were told that our table was given away and we would then have to wait. It took over an hour more to finally be seated. This was a huge disappointment as we had one person from PA and the other from DE that drove in for this meeting. Also, I was not informed by the host to look for a text. Most places call your name audibly or give a pager to notify when a table is ready. Besides why would I look for a text if we are standing so close to the host. This was a huge inconvenience and disappointment. Will reconsider where to make dinner reservations in the future.
Service was stellar just wasn’t a big fan of how loud it was there, 5 of us were a bit smushed in the seating and would have been good to have a coat check since our bags and coats took up so much room. Food was really good. Like the bruschetta you can pick individually. Brian was our waiter and was awesome and I credibly attentive .
Enjoyed our dinner, server was good... but the restaurant is always so loud!! Love the mushroom ravioli, but the muscles were nothing special ..they add cannelli beans and was lacking flavor beyond the mushy beans... calamari was great -wish the serving was bigger. Pasta carbonara was bland .. can’t believe it was $18!! And didn’t come with a take home meal. The amazing ravioli was only $16 and came with a take home.. that was a great value !!
Arrived late however; they were completely accommodating. The food was excellent and service was equally impressive. They offer family style but we went off the menu and each dish was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant for many types of occasions.
