It was good. Exactly what I expected. Food was also awesome.
Post theater family dinner
Family vacation dinner
I was celebrating my birthday at Maggiano's and I was quite happy. I love the food, especially the mushroom ravioli al forno and Maggiano's salad. Our waiter was pleasant and suggested an appetizer dish that we actually ordered. Great place for groups or a small party. Excellent.
Nice surprise. I thought of them as family style only. Excellent dishes for both of us. Great service by Justin.
Service was excellent and the food was great. Prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend.
It was crazy busy, and our waiter handled it well. Plus my in laws aren’t easy diners. Great experience!
Always outstanding service and excellent food! Our annual choice after the Boston Marathon.
Noisy but expected the night before the Boston Marathon. Brought us the wrong salads but quickly fixed it. Asked for two separate bills but got one and had to ask them to make it two.
Excellent as always
Wonderful place to go with family or a special date
Good food, friendly service
Our family loved everything! The atmosphere, food, and waiters were amazing! We were visiting from out of town and will definitely come back if we are back in the area. Wish we had a Maggianos near us.
Brunch is the best! The carrot pancakes are a must try!
Little disappointed two of the three pasta dishes we ordered came out lukewarm at best. Sent the dishes back to be reheated.
I ate here two nights in a row preceding the Boston Marathon. The place was jam-packed but the first night, when I had a reservation, they seated me quickly and were very attentive given the chaos. The food was excellent, particularly for a chain restaurant. It wasn’t terribly cheap, but it wasn’t horribly expensive either, especially given that it’s in Boston. The second night I did not have a reservation and they were sold out, but I was still able to sit at the bar and order from the full menu. It was excellent as well.
Even though the restaurant was very crowded when we got there, they were able to seat us about a minute or 2 after our booked reservations. The wait staff was excellent. Our food came out in a timely manner and was excellent. We will definitely go back again.
This was a great experience truly made up for my last experience. Our server Tom was exceptional. He is very knowledgeable of the menu and great suggestions.
Good food, fast, before the show service.
Go for the Bruschetta bar. Can be a light meal on its own
Delicious meal! First time visit to Boston. Would definitely recommend!
I am fallen in love with this restaurant because of the many options and wide range of prices for every dish. You can really find something for any budget and they cook all their dishes from scratch so you can add and remove ingredients to suit your dietary restrictions or preferences. Have already been here three times in three weeks and definitely not bored of it. Service is fast and its not too crowded either.
Great food, good wine, and our waiter, Brian, was the best.
This was a special night for myself and a friend. I made reservations for 8:15 as we had a concert at the Wilbur for 9:45
We were seated at 8:30. Our waiter arrived at our table 10 min. later introduced himself and gave us menus and left, he came back 10 min. later and we had to ask for cocktail menus,
He left and took a while before he came back for our order. We gave him our cocktail order
which took another 10 min -12 min to bring drinks to us. He finally came back and took our
meal order at 9:15 and told him we did not have time for our appetizers and needed our
meal fast because of our concert. We had to pratically shovel our food down and run out,
to make the concert which made us late!!!!
I really wanted to make this night special for my friend, and felt bad that we were so
rushed. Although food was good, i really coulden't enjoy.
Great Time as always!
Had a 15 person reservation for months and confirmed and reconfirmed. Still waited 45 minutes for our table. Decent service but she seemed stressed. We are a very relaxed group with some diet restrictions and happily cooperated to have family style with a few eating off the menu. Food seemed to come all at once; nice antipasto from chef. Not as comfortable as hoped with crowds and noise but delicious food.
We always have a lovely meal at Maggiano's. Service was great and prompt and selections are varied.
The short version... is the waitresses and chefs at Maggianos make a usually daunting task of getting a large group together for dinner a very painless, and accommodating experience where everyone is able to walk away pleased.
Got here around 8:30 for an 8:45 reservation. We got seated around 9 - 9:10. We were a group of 9 so the wait time wasn't too much of a big deal as we were able to keep ourselves entertained. There is a bar right at the front so if you're meeting up with friends you're more than welcome to grab a couple drinks while you wait.
The atmosphere is pretty amazing. Very traditional Italian ballroom feeling. We just finished coming out of a convention so we were way underdressed but no dress code is required, so go as you'd like.
My favorite thing about Maggianos is the family style option. Not only is the food extremely well made, presented, and incredibly tasteful, but y'all walk away feeling like you got more than your money's worth.
Our waitress and the chef were both extremely accommodating. Not only were they very politely, but gave us very helpful tips on ordering and even notified us to give an honest opinion so that they can alter any recipes to better fit our desires. We had a couple of allergies and people who generally avoid certain dishes who were out ruled by the votes of the majority of the table. This wasn't an issue for Maggiano's they simply made personal portions of the same issues with the ingredients either altered or removed. I was very pleased with the serviced we received.
Great family restaurant with a home made kind of charm.
We came here and the food was amazing. Being a student and a tourist the food was good value for money, and the restaurant was in a good location and easy to find. Despite being busy, the food was served quickly and the service was amazing. If I'm ever back in Boston, I will be returning here!
Great place to go for large parties! Great location if your going to eat before or after a theater show!
I've been to Maggiano's before and it did not disappoint. The three other people I was with hadn't been and enjoyed it thoroughly. The food was phenomenal, from the sausage flatbread pizza for an appetizer to the salad and chicken parmesan and filet for dinner entrees. We also enjoyed the creme brulee and brownie sundae for dessert. It was another wonderful meal! We will definitely be back!
Our waitstaff was very attentive to us. They made sure our drinks and food were served in a timely manner. The food was delicious as were the drinks! We split the tiramisu and it was phenomenal!
We went before the theater with four people. I adjusted my reservation from 8 people to 4 at the last minute with no issue. Even as a big restaurant it was easy to hear the people in my booth. The waitress was attentive and the food came out relatively quickly. The food was delicious and I liked the "lighter" options on the menu. I went with a lighter version of the chicken marsala and it was delicious and I was full enough.
Maggiano's is a large operation more suited to groups outings than to quiet couples dinners. Having said that, they are very good at this mission. The food consists of Italian standards but each dish was perfectly prepared and delicious. The portions were very generous. Service was friendly and attentive. Also, for a large restaurant, noise levels were subdued. Overall, an excellent experience for our group of eight.
Had a reservation for 6pm, but we were seated close to 6:30. Waiter was rushing around, got drinks after 15 minutes and kept walking away while we were talking to him. We had tickets to a show at 7:30 and had to rush our meal. Food was delicious, but disorganized and unprofessional staff.
This is a great place to bring a large group of people for pretty much any occasion.
My experience was great.
We enjoyed our meal very much! My meal was chicken piccata, their light version, where ch was excellent! Tiramisu for dessert was perfect!
Very popular. Must make reservations! Lots of seatings, with separate room available for groups. Good Italian cuisine with most ingredients hand made on site. Large portions with take out option.
