Loved! Server Akeyla and all other staff were amazing!
My son and I had a delicious dinner. Our waitress was amazing! Oh my the Apple Tart, or whatever it was called, was Fantastic. For Boston, the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely go back! .
My family and I make our annual trip to Maggiano's for my son's birthday; never disappointed!!! The waitstaff is always great, especially Tomas! And the host was very friendly and accommodating.
As usual the food was good. You know what you are getting here, it isn’t the North End, it is good chain restaurant Italian food.
Service was extremely slow and unorganized.
Took way to long for appetizers to come and then when we order more it was ridiculous how long it took, could have been due to lack of communication between the staff.
Took over 15 minutes for our second bottle of wine to come, which is crazy.
The servers themselves were polite and helpful, not sure where the delays came from.
When spending $400+ for 6 people I expect better service. The tip reflected that, still 15%, but we normally go well above that.
Will not be rushing back.
lunch before theater and was just right!
The bar service was slow. We waited awhile each time we ordered drinks. Waiter worked hard.
Great food and atmosphere , love the roomy booths.
Very good Italian, minimal wait w reservation, reasonable pricing, good service, would return!
I have been a patron here before but I will never go back again. We had the WORST service. Repeatedly forgot our bread, our waters, sodas and appetizer. Never brought us our bread. Never refilled our waters or asked if we needed another refill or how our food was. Took my order down wrong, gave me meat sauce instead of vodka sauce. I asked for at least my bowl of pasta to come out with vodka sauce... that took over 40 minutes and my meal was ruined. The waiter was RUDE and could care less and had an attitude to boot. The manager never came over. I was holding back so I could salvage somewhat of a date night. Waiter comped my meal but that is all. Terrible experience and the patrons behind us were so loud and obnoxious and Buddy Buddy with the manager and so I guess that’s why the manager was too busy to bother with us!
Food was good, nothing spectacular but enjoyable
This was not my first time at Maggiano's, however it was without a doubt the worst. While watching the tables around us receive great service from various waitors and waitresses, our waitor messed up our appetizer order twice as well as one of the main dishes. When asked if one of the correct dishes would be coming out, he got frustrated and indicated he put the order in but it was not his job to get it done. We have always had a great experience here, but this was not one of them. The food was good, not exceptional as we usually have, but it was the service that ruined the night.
Made reservations, got there 15 minutes, early, and was seated right away! Their was eight of us, and our waiter was right there to get us water and bread, and take our drink order! We ordered a couple appetizers, but they care out at different times! The meals all came out at the same time, and were all large amounts, looked great, and tasted wonderful, except for the person that ordered the calm chowder, barely any clams, and Luke warm at best! Desert menu was amazing, we got 4 different things, and all was great! Only negative, would be, seamed to take look times to get drinks, and noise level was very high that night! But overall, we had a great time, and will be back, to try, other meals on the menu, and have another fun night out!
the waiter was very attentive and kind. the food was sooooooooo good, i had the steak and it just melted in my mouth. i will be back for the great food and service
Been coming here for years but the last two visits had been disappointing. We decided to give it another try and they redeemed themselves. Our server Elaina was EXCELLENT!
One still lingering issue; they need to bring back Nona’s Poundcake
I like Maggiano’s! However, I asked for a table by a window and we were seated in a small dining room. Wish we were in larger dining room as I like the atmosphere there but felt the host put us in the small room for whatever reason!! We felt rushed by the waiter which took away from the experience! As always- food was delicious.
We (me and my daughter) made reservations for Magginaos for my husbands birthday. We attended a play in town prior to going to Maggiano"s. Upon our arrival at Maggiano"s we were seated at the room to the right just after the entrance. Our waiter appeared chewing gum and handed us our menu's. He asked if we had any time constraints which we said we did not. Bobby then asked if we were celebrating a special occasion to which I replied it was my husbands birthday. Bobby then asked if we knew what we wanted to drink and did we want an appetizer (could we look at the menu first!) The rush continued with each course. After dinner we asked for a desert menu and once again Bobby came flying back to see what we would like. We declined figuring we would go somewhere else less stressful and relaxing. Many family and friends highly recommend your establishment. NO THANKS!!!
The food was good. The restaurant is typical Italian style family. Noise level was a little high, but too bad.
We made a reservation for two and we were put right in front of the kitchen door. I saw everything going on in kitchen. Would have preferred looking out over guest instead of the back of the house.
Diners BEWARE: Maggiano's apparently does not follow traditional reservation protocol. We made a 6:00 reservation in order to make it to a 7:30 show. We arrived at 6:00 and apparently were marked as "checked in" and were put in a queue for a table. We were not seated until after 6:30, which was extremely frustrating. Apparently if you want to sit at 6:00, you need to show up by 5:30.
Once we were finally seated, our waiter was great and helped us navigate a quick meal some could get out of there within 45 minutes to get to the show. He was helpful and the food was good, but it was not the enjoyable experience we were hoping for.
Maggiano remains a favorite restaurant...always a welcome...great food and service....a pleasure
to eat there...
Awesome eve! My friend & I took our daughters before a show. We were late for our reservation and they still accommodated us, with no issue at all. The food was delicious. The waiter was great!!
Food was fairly good but shrimp was overcooked
I took my mom for her birthday! It was her first visit! She was so pleased with her meal! The waiter was exceptional, always making sure we had what we needed on the table! The food was incredible! Cannot wait to dine in again!
The food was very good, and the portions were large.
Great place and quick service. Food was excellent.
The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night, so I was glad I mad reservations. The food was pretty good I loved having all
The different variations of pasta. We were a little disappointed that there were not any cannolis, but they had a ton of other really good desserts. The only, slight downfall was the preparedness. We had to ask for several things (an extra menu, drink menu, refills for condiments on the table.). Overall good experience, and I would definitely go back.
Family Style is a great option to have! Wow!
I made a reservation at 7:30 for a booth.
I was seated at 8:15 at a regular table.
Everything took entirely too long.
My food was cold
But the server was so helpful and sweet.
The food and the wait staff were great. Our server was Mike.
Always nice and food has always been excellent!
Having been to Maggiano's in the past I was very much looking forward to our reservation. We were taken right on time and seated. The waiter seemed to be rushing us to order, it took quite some time for our drink order to come. The waiter highly recommended the Stuffed Shell dinner special, it was under cooked and My Mother sent it back (felt like the staff did not believe that it was not prepared correctly) she order pasta with meat sauce instead (which she was charged, not classy) waited for that and it was hard, not cooked enough (not el dente). My meal was a fish and pasta dish which was jam packed with mussels, took forever to take all of the clams out of the dish. Ordered a second glass of wine which they forgot to bring, brought it when I reminded them (20 minutes later) did not charge me for it. All in all a very disappointing experience.
Menu change is great with lower caloric options. However, prices have increased dramatically.
We did the theater package that included Maggianos .\
The food was fabulous. It was crowded that night which is not a bad thing so it was noisy however you cannot beat Maggianos.
Food was sub par and the wine list was disappointing. Beautiful restaurant and great service - fairly affordable but wouldn’t go back probably.
Went for a dinner package and cats play with Boston opera house. The dinner was fabulous. Waiter was personable and the staff appeared to work together! We had a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend to others.
Went for mother’s birthday, Amazing staff and food!
Loud and crowded... the food was barely palatable. Server was very good though!
Our waitress was awesome for our table of 15. The place was sooo busy for a sat night. The manager stepped up and filled our waters and fixed our drink order.... but after that she was efficient and gave us all separate checks.
Food was great per usual but the service was awful. I believe we had a server name Nicole and a gentleman with a bun. Neither of them introduced themselves when they approached the table. They were both very dry careless about serving us. I myself have waited tables for years and I am now a hospitality manager. This is not the type of service I expect when I go out to eat. Especially on slow brunch day. They were super pushy and had a bad attitude the entire time. We asked for another round of mimosa after we finished eating then the waitress dropped the check without even asking us if we were all set. After clearing out the table, another server stopped by to take our glasses from the table trying to push out. Why am I being rushed out of a restaurant at 2PM on a slow day? Oh, did I mention she dropped the check without a simple “thank you, have a nice day”. Ridiculous! My friend and I tipped 20% but not because either one of them deserved it.
