Maggiano's - Boca Raton Ratings and Reviews
We enjoyed dinninghere, the food was delicious as always.. the only thing wrong was the waiter, perhaps it was his first time to work there. He got our orders mixed up and disappeared quit often. Other than that, the food was delicious. We will return in the near future, providing we get another waiter....
The best part of our lunch was our waitress,Nicole. She was fantastic. Our hot meals were delicious. (Chicken frances and the Frankel diablo) we shared a delicious spinach salad and were very satisfied. Two of the girls ordered different salads that had practically nothing but greens In them. Both had shrimp In them which was great but they were missing 1/2 the ingredients listed In the Menu. No olives, tomatoes, onions etc. the manager came over and substituted two new salads that were really no better. Then the chef came over to apologize. The yummy dessert was a chocolate layer cake enough for the 5 of us to share. Nicole was wonderful and friendly and took our photo with the birthday girl.
We have returned to this location because of excellent food and great service.
However on this our anniversary dinner experience it was unsatisfactory .
The waitress did not greet us or take our order for over 15 mins
Afterwards she was non existent .
Had to ask several people for the check and again she never appeared . Someone else brought us the check finally .
The food was warm at best ( spaghetti ) and meats / seafood was not warm ( hot) more like room temperature at best .
No one came to ask how anything was.
We waited and no one ever did .
No one asked if we wanted dessert either .
This was the worse experience ever at a maggianos .
The restaurant was not busy at all and there were plenty of waitstaff standing around .
Very disappointed in Maggianos would not return to celebrate a special occasion
Our dining experience at Montiano's was fantastic. The food was exceptional, the service was great as well. All of this for a fair price. We did have one issue where our to go plates that we had ordered were not correct, however when we contacted the manager, she was very apologetic, and made good on the issue by sending us a gift card for a future visit. We were more than happy with the resolution.
In the past our left overs were always taken back to the kitchen and brought back to us packed and ready to go. This time we had to pack up ourselves. We paid cash and would have appreciated getting our change in small bills allowing us to leave our usual 20 percent.
Maggiano's has been one of my fav restaurants. However, they must have a new chef and it went straight downhill. Chicken marsala had no wine taste in it. Food very bland including oil and garlic pasta. The food used to be great. My dining partner felt the same way. Very disappointing. Still love the ambiance and music.
As a frequent visitor to Maggianos our table of four was a little disappointed with the food quality. My wife and I ordered the Maggianos appetizer salad to share and this was a meager portion missing the red onion, barely enough to share. Must have got mixed up with the chopped salad which has avocado. This was preceded by a few pieces of stale bread for which we had to request oil and pepper. The entrees were of the customary quality and taste but served on cold plates. Server did not ask us if we wanted dessert or coffee, we got the impression we were being shooed out of there although it was before 9:00 pm. Hope Maggianos can put on a better show next time.
Maggiano's never disappoints. Food and service are always consistent. Tasty food, pleasant atmosphere and mostly service with a smile has been my experience. It's great value for your money. It's conveniently located. This has been my favorite place to meet family from Miami once a month. We are able to talk and catch up while enjoying a delicious meal. I suggest you try it. You'll be glad you did.
I have been to Maggiano's (both in Boca and in the Tampa area) previously and had a good experience. This time was poor. Our first server was slow and very unfriendly (we complained and got a better server and a free dessert). Neither solution made up for the poor food (veal parm, fettucine alfredo).
It has been years since I was able to get to Maggianos. It was just at delicious as I remember. The food was amazing, every dish served was great. The desert was just what we needed to finish the meal. Service was attentive and professional. Love this place!
Great Chicago restaurant, but new management is ruining it. Servers untrained, not fixing kitchen issues and food coming out in reverse order. Opened a bottle of wine, started pouring - no tasting, put cork back in bottle with flakes. Dirty glasses. Bad cook on chicken dishes. No more fresh grated Parmesan in an Italian restaurant??? Will try again but deteriorated a lot. Used to be great, now passable - would now only come for food.
