Service was slow, food was overcooked, and reservation was late. Would not go back
The 4 of us took a while to decide what to choose from the menu, so many options. Our waiter was very helpful and patient as he answered our questions about various choices.
The food was delicious, and the sauces were authentically Italian.
Everyone enjoyed his entree, stuffed shells, ziti, fra diavulo with seafood.
An added bonus: another meal was included for another day
We found the linguine with clam sauce had far fewer clams and clam pieces ... just was not the same
The sauce that came with the muscles was not as good as the week before when we ordered the ramen dish . This was a mild fra diavlo sauce that was delicious
The week before ...
Go for the food and great service not a quiet intimate dinner.
Dans l’ensemble, nous avons bien apprécié notre repas, le service était cependant plus lent qu’habituellement à ce restaurant. Ceci dit, nous allons retourner, en espérant que la prochaine fois le service soit plus rapide.
Excellent restaurant, we could bring your own bottle. The restaurant charge for a cork fee.
The food was excellent and a generous portion.
Taste the dessert for five, good and perfect portion.
Excellent for a pary whit friends or families.
Good food, service, and ambiance. The classic take one home is a great value.
Portion size is always big but you get leftovers to take home for later
this is our go to place to meet friends always consostant
Love Maggiano’s. We regularly have Brunch or dinner there. Food is really good. Drinks on weekend brunch a great buy. $2 Mimosas and $5 Bloody Mary’s great. I always order the Chicken Marsala and they make it very tasty. I don’t like red or white sauce and they have many other options.
My husband and I came in for brunch. We were taken care of right away we had a reservation the server was very nice and friendly. We were so full my husband got a frittata and I got the crab cake Benedict. Everything was delicious and mimosas were only 2$! To end it we had some lemon cookies which were to die for. 10/10 would recommend.
It’s always good at Maggiano’s. The food is good fair price. And the manager waited on our table because they were so busy and he was a super awesome guy. His name was Jordan
The muscles were excellent...,
Great food ,exceptional service ,to bad I don’t remember the name of my server but she was on top of every thing, we were not early enough to have a both on the piano side ,but we had the first table on the other side ,so it was as good .Moms lasagna a hit every time ,the calamari ,,,,forget about it .Still great evening at Maggianôs.
Great NYC kind of Italian Restaurant. Excellent food, ambience and good price. You eat an entree and get another one home! What else do you need?
Maggianos never disappoints us and this visit was no exception.
We dine here regularly and always prefer to sit near the bar and our server is Andrew. He's one of the best and we look forward to our visits. This was a quiet night so we took our time and had a very enjoyable evening. Food is good and the zucchini fries this time around were prepared correctly. Last time they were soggy and had to be sent back to the kitchen. Overall an enjoyable evening.
One of the best Italian chains around. Always good. I’m sure when I go back tonight it will be great
It was my mother's birthday and nothing special was made for her (a candle on the dessert plate) although the manager was told and when I made the reservation. The waitress disappeared at times and every time we asked for bread and water, we had to ask for it more than once to be brought. However the food was good.
This is the second visit in the past two months and found the food lacking. We've been coming to Maggiano's in Boca Raton for many years, however, the last two visits the food has definitely changed. I don't know if there is a new chef, or what, but the flavor has gone down hill. The sauce was overly sweet, ravioli's cold, gnocchi were all flour mush, and eggplant Parmigiana was mediocre at best. Unfortunately, I can make better at home. The restaurant was crowded so, the service was certainly not there. We were sat between two large groups and our waitress showed up to take order and give bill and that was it. We had to flag down another waiter to get the ice cream we promised our child if she ate all her food. The adults didn't bother to order dessert because you were never sure if it would show up within the hour. Coming from an Italian background Maggiano's was the only Italian restaurant (outside of Italy) that we would go to for Italian food. Now, we are not so sure its worth driving the distance if its going to taste like jar sauce.
Service was excellent, food is very good, served hot..Martin's are very good but served in a small martini glass.
We like Maggiano's in general, probably having gone to six or seven different ones. This was our worst experience by a large margin. People just didn't seem to be very motivated. Our interactions with staff were always pleasant, but they took longer to come around. Ten minutes before anyone came to our table after being seated. Never really saw our waiter during the meal until we were almost finished. Food was good, but experience was lacking.
The waiter was amazing! He was very helpful and attentive to the table.
The service was fast & friendly and the food was awesome. We will definitely be back.
It only makes sense to go to Maggiano’s if you have a large party and get the family feast which is $34 per person. The value is tremendous and so is the quality and quantity of food. Appetizers, salad, pastas, entrees and deserts. A tremendous selection and all are very good.
Always fantastic food, fantastic service, and a fantastic GM in Anich. Love coming here, highly recommend. Save room for the dessert sampler.
Wonderful night out. The food is remarkably good, given the size and volume of business.
Classy, mature service.
Thank you !!
Execellent service and time.
The food & service was great! I don’t see I got the 100 pts credit to my account for dining tonight with my family!
We were seated upstairs with no bathroom or elevator with 2 handicapped people. It to almost a half hour before our order was taken. We then had a 12 inch hair in our linguini with clams, waiter was very apologetic, but manager said “ thank you for the input”
I was very upset and they realized it and returned with a revised check after I already gave my credit card. Did not make up for a awful experience for our party of 12. Will never return.
Took way too long for service .so noisy you needed to be by waiter
Never a disappointment! We dined with our friends that are vacationing from Canada as dinner is a MUST while they are in town!
The food is always good here and the service is usually good too, however our last visit wasn’t up to the standards of service we’ve had in the past. I believe the server had too many tables on a very busy night. We will eat here again hoping to see an improvement in service on our next visit.
Most of the dishes had too much salt. The wait staff had too many tables assigned so service was poor. The restaurant is too large with a very open layout so it is very noisy making it tough to carry on a conversation at a table for six. The parking is inadequate and getting worse as the property developers are consuming nearby parking for additional property development. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Always outstanding food, service and ambiance!
I love the restaurant HOWEVER - the noise is horrific - and this time the food was not up to par.
We had 1 appetizer - zucchini - good
4 entrees - flat bread good - filet good - chicken parmesean good - and shrimp scampi - NOT good.
The shrimp were dry and way overcooked - and the asparagus that I requested was little pieces instead of nice spears. I was very disappointed - the sauce was good.
One dessert - brownie with ice cream - good.
Overall it was way too loud - too low lighting for our taste - and my meal in particular disappointing.
Food was very good. Was not happy with the server recommending a $28 glass of wine for my wife . For the 2 glasses, we could have had 3 more entree's. No one else had any drinks ordered from the bar. The wine tab was 1/3rd the cost of the entire tab for 4. As soon as I can locate the receipt, I will do I followup to this review.
