Maggiano's - Bellevue Ratings and Reviews
Food was good, great prices, waiter was energetic. Unfortunately our food took forever to come out due to a mix up with the order. The restaurant manager did stop by and apologized and gave us a 50% discount on our food. I gave it a 2 star service rating because of it.
This was my first visit to this location in Bellevue Square, where there is ample parking in a nearby garage. My party of three had a 8:45pm reservation on a Saturday night, but we arrived early (around 8:20pm). When I checked in at the host stand, the staff seemed very distracted and I was advised that someone would "come find us" when our table was ready. We sat in the bar area (drinking cocktails) until 9:05pm and noticed several tables were open. We then decided we should go back to the host stand to check on ours - and it was clear that we had been forgotten!
Once we were seated, our service was amazing! One of the guests in my party had severe allergies and is therefore on a very restricted diet. Our server asked the chef come to our table and speak to her personally about menu options - a nice touch! Her steak came out well but the asparagus she ordered was sadly overcooked. My other guest selected the Gnocchi & Italian Sausage, which he said tasted great.
I initially ordered the Braised Beef Pappardelle and Eggplant Parmesan to take home. I was informed later that the pasta dish was not available, so I chose Chicken Parmesan instead. It was delicious and there was a large portion. The other highlight of the night was the Spinach and Artichoke al Forno, which I highly recommend.
It was a nice evening out, overall!
Our waiter, Justin sang happy birthday to my girlfriend on her 21st birthday.
The manager himself came by to give us a dish because it had been my first time there
Justin constantly came by talking to us personally and made sure everything was going alright
Our expierence was overall just phenomenal and as I told Justin, whatever they're paying him isn't enough, cause he's a great guy and he's amazing at his job.
I would've left him a bigger tip if I could, so I hope this review suffices and finds it's way to him some way.
The food was just out of the park amazing and it really shows that they use freshly made ingredients, I can't even imagine what all of the cooks there do to prepare for just one day of serving
Thank you for helping me give my girlfriend her best birthday ever, Justin, and the whole staff of the restaurant.
I plan to be back there soon, and I recommend the place to everyone who's looking for an amazing Italian restaurant.
Had a great dining experience. It was our first visit to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. During our visit, the manager stopped by and greeted us, we were offered an amuse-bouche and a free dessert (it was my wife's birthday). It wasn't even about the freebies as much as the outstanding service! And the great meal and drinks of course! You have to try the Signature Barrel Aged Cocktail....! We will be back!
Great foods excellent service! Sandro our server is very professional, attentive and made our dining experience simply wonderful.
My compliments to the chef for the best Italian food I've ever had. I keep coming back with guests. I love it there, thank you.
We were visiting the city and decided to try this restaurant. We had a fantastic server and both the things he recommended were fantastic. We decided to take a piece of cheese cake with us and it was some of the best cheese cake I’ve had. I would recommend this to anyone who visits Bellevue!
The tables are jam packed together. They had run out of vegetables, not sure how that happens. Our two meals came out of the kitchen 10 minutes apart, so my son was done eating by the time my meal came out. The waiter failed to refill our water, and our drinks only came towards the end of our meal after we had to ask for them. There was a caddy of Parmesan cheese on every table but ours. I would not recommend maggianos. The service was the worst I have ever had anywhere, and it wasn't even busy.
Maggiano's is our "go-to" favorite restaurant to go to when we are with our boys who both enjoy the buy one get one to go dinners! We all love the spaghetti with meatballs and lasagna - so delicious! Maggiano's just has such a warm and fuzzy environment. Festive, casual, authentic all wrapped up into one and all at a most reasonable price. We love Maggiano's!
Wait staff and other staff members quite personnable and friendly. Our appetizer was wonderful! We felt the pasta dishes were too over-cooked. Not as good as in the past. The complimentary dessert for the celebration could be something more special. Overall I would recommend Maggianos. I would try one of the daily specials next time.
It was very packed when we went there for dinner, but we were seated within 5 minutes of arrival. We had made a special request for a certain table, but were seated in a different area, and no mention was even made of our request.
The service was slow, but the server was aware of that and apologized several times for it. We had to send one of the appetizers back as it was just done so poorly. I feel the overall food was not executed as well as in previous visits.
