   The food came out cold and the waiter knocked my entire cup over spilling water all over me. Luckily it was not red wine or my outfit would have been completely ruined. I was soaked and my chair was drenched. I feel my meal should have been free but it was not and management did not come over to check on me, but I will give management the benefit of the doubt maybe they were not advised. I ordered the ribeye with truffle butter and asparagus, side salad, pot overs, and the wagyu burger with fries to share with my husband. The presentation was beautiful but EVERYTHING was cold except the burger. If the ribeye was hot it would have been tasty. Same for the potovers. Beautiful place, very nice ambience, but with my experience I would not go back unless I received a complimentary HOT meal for ruining my date night outfit.

   My fiancé and I had dinner at Magdalena over Memorial Day weekend and were impressed. The food and service exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to dining there again soon.

   A fabulous meal in an elegant courtyard in the middle of the city. Service was impeccable. I had the bass; it was fresh and had accompaniments that did not overwhelm it. My wife had the Hoppin John; most unusual and very good. The wines by the glass were excellent. Altogether the restaurant lives up to its membership in Relais & Chateau.

   We enjoyed a lovely meal here to celebrate my husband's birthday. We sat in one of the dining rooms with a view out to the courtyard. Food, drinks, atmosphere, service were all excellent. I will definitely be back - especially for celebrating special occasions.

   Beautiful restaurant, with a wonderful ambiance. However, the food and portion size for the price left ALOT to be desired!! The food lacked flavor and was full of salt and absolutely no other flavor notes at all. The portion size was so shockingly small!! I couldn't believe my eyes when the waitress brought out our food! I felt completely ripped off for the price we paid for our dishes to have them taste salty and bland and to be given a toddler-sized portion was ridiculous! I would NOT recommend Magdalena if you want good-tasting food and a decent adult-sized portion for the price you're going to pay.

   The food was absolutely delicious. The presentation and service were also top notch. Would go there to eat there again in a second. It is a pricey meal, but the quality is worth it for sure. JR is a great bartender. Dane, the manager, was very friendly.

    The Magdalena was amazing. The bartender made cocktails that were true craft drinks. The food was delicious, I recommend the duck! But most of all, the service was impeccable. I was entertaining a customer and I was so impressed with their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate us. We ate outside in the courtyard and it was absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend this classy restaurant for business, pleasure and celebrations.

    It has been so many years since I have had such an outstanding dining experience! From the doorman, to check, to the waitress, to the kitchen it was all superlative. Gratitude Jayna for being so personable and we noticed you never once needed a pad. How it should be at fine dining. Gratitude to the Exec Chef who was already aware of my allergies and had briefed Jayna on what I could NOT have! Of course this was communicated to Chefs from the front staff so, well done! The best part was adjusting a dish to suit my disability (Coeliac disease & anaphylaxis food allergies). You've outshone others here. When I say others, I means 5 star-diamond hotel dining experiences. The ambience is most suitable for a date. The food! Ohhh myyy, dear, we are still discussing the flavoursome food, days later! Gratitude for providing us such an amazing experience. I shall return!

    This was our third time coming back to Magdalena for our 1 year wedding anniversary. As always, service, food, and the experience was everything one would want in a special occasion meal. The bread for two is a must and anything that the chef adds new for the season is sure to be a winner.

    Amazing food, amazing service. We were greeted with complimentary champagne, had an amazing server, and wonderful food and even a complimentary rose at the end of the meal! A bit expensive, but for a once-in-while splurge, this would be a great choice. We had an amazing seat in the wine cellar to ourselves for most of our meal despite the restaurant being booked up for Valentine’s Day. Can’t wait to visit again!

    Overall experience was very nice. Food was delicious but pricey. Staff are extremely friendly; Andrew, who was our server was amazing and very attentive. The ambience/decor was ok but the hotel’s decor is breathtaking and carries with it a-lot of rich history.

    Server was not attentive and not friendly. Seemed to be the only server working so was stretched thin. Main course took a very long time to come. Server never apologized or even acknowledge the delay. Once food arrived, server never checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. Didn’t stop at our table again until well after we finished our food. Expect more from a fine dining restaurant especially as we were also guests at the hotel. Hoping it was just a bad night with the restaurant understaffed.

    Everything and everyone was amazing. From the moment I walked in at coat check I experienced impeccable service from the bar to the dining area. The food was delicious. I celebrated a friend's birthday last night who is very particular. As hard as she tried to find something to complain about, she was at a loss for words. She even checked if the flowers in the vases were real. It was a wonderful way to celebrate any special occasion. It was a little on the pricier side but it was worth it.

    Great service from the wait staff to the bartender. The food was delicious, specifically the venison and the duck pasta dish. The crispy fish was cooked amazing however, the accompanying sides were ok.
