Madrid Tapas y Vinos
We started as a paella catering in Broward County but soon we saw the success of our food deserved open their own restaurant. So, with great effort and great enthusiasm, the Madrid Tapas & Vinos restaurant is now a reality that we share with all our customers. Because our warm and friendly atmosphere will make you feel for a moment in a typical Spanish bar without leaving Miami."

We loved it and will be back real soon with more people. Everything was fantastic!!!
We had a group of 10 for a business trip dinner. The food was amazing, service was excellent and the value for the money was perfect. A real treat for us all and we would return without any hesitation.
Excellent food and a very local friendly atmosphere. Entertainment was also very good.
Great atmosphere, the food was delicious and the music went well with the vibe. The sangria was amazing!!!
Excelente. El lugar muy calido y el show de primera, volveremos la proxima.
Overall great place, good food. I didn’t appreciate the fact that you come to have dinner and if the dinner is when the flamenco Show happens they add a $5 per person. We left early as this is just ridiculous.
Excellent food and service! Loved the music!
Great flavors, just took a longer than expected to get the check.
The food is always delicious and the service outstanding. They make you feel at home.
Lovely restaurant with ample choices including wines with knowledgeable , amiable servers.
Have the veal tenderloin!!
Good menú for 14$
Well, our first time here and probably the last one. We ordered the croquetas(ham) and the garbanzos Fritos as an appetizer, they were okay nothing exceptional and we have had better elsewhere. The portion for the garbanzos was not enough for 4 people. It seems more of an individual portion than to share, even though we asked the waiter and she said it was enough to share. As the main course we had the Paella Campesina! Two of those was enough for 4 people, however the rice was not fully cooked and there wasn’t enough ingredientes. Just rice and some chicken and pork! We were disappointed. The bread was good and the bottle of wine too. Even though I wanted a different wine the waiter suggested a different one to jack up the price of the bottle from 28 to 34! The dessert was oka, we had the chocolate cake! This place is not big on presentation!
The highlight of this place is the live entertainment if you like music and Spanish guitar.
Food was good and service outstanding. We had a very good salad, tapas and 3 paellas, which were tasty, although it to be less dry than it was. Nevetherless, it was a great experience, boosted by a great staff.
My third trip to Madrid Tapas Y Vinos... I come to Miami twice a year on business, and now try to stop in the night before I fly out. I go for four things in this order: the outstanding selection of Spanish red wines (67 of them!), the flamenco show, the overall vibe, and the food.
The wines - They move a LOT of Spanish red wine. As a result, one can be fairly confident that any wine by the glass will be fresh. They also know their Spanish wines - in a very unpretentious, we-drink-these-everyday way. Knowledgeable but unstuffy - refreshing! They seem to have fewer by-the-glass options than last t. That is unfortunate, but probably a good business practice.
The Flamenco - Straight out of Madrid. Exceptional guitarists and a remarkable male dancer, all in an extremely intimate setting. The place is crammed with people by 9:00p - mostly hispanics and I suspect, mostly Spanish. They know flamenco and are a wildly enthusiastic audience. I've never seen anything like it outside of Spain. They say the show starts at 7:30p - just remember that is more of a subtle suggestion than a scheduled time. This last time I was in, the performers were just arriving when I had to leave at 8:30p.
The vibe - Hard to beat, even in Miami. Not just hispanic, but Spanish. A matter-of-fact genuineness that seems so out of place in the pretension and glitz of the City as a whole. Be aware that in my experience, if you don't speak Spanish, you'll be welcomed but you won't be embraced. This is a Spanish restaurant for Spaniards. We Anglos are very much welcome visitors, but just visitors nonetheless, IMHO. I don't mind this, but others might.
The food - Good and getting better. I have had their Serrana Salad every time I've been in. Each time it gets better; more carefully-prepared greens, subtler use of spices in the dressing, more elegant treatment of ingredients (ex: from uneven chunks of occasionally-unripe avocado to swirls of a delicious avocado mousse).
Fabulous food, service and music! The staff were very friendly and helpful in ordering. Amazing spot for our last night in Miami!
Me encantó, he ido dos veces y pienso repetir!
Sólo, encuentro el lugar pequeño y mesas muy unidas, dificultando la privacidad y el baile...
Excellent service and food. Very nice trio playing music. I will definitely go back .
The food was very good except for the PATATAS BRAVAS, that had nothing to do with the ones in Spain. The boquerones and the pimentos de piquillo rellenos de bacalao and the gambas al ajillo were very good! Those 3 dishes we ordered were excellent. The service was good, but nothing outstanding under American standards.
A fun spot with great food and service. Small so you will be close to other diners
Although the servers were very accommodating and willing to explain menu offerings, the menu was not very expansive in terms of Spanish tapas. The food was good, but I guess we were expecting more variations. The tables were too close together to allow for private conversation.
Like this place a lot, it’s close to home and good food. They marked me as a “no show” on Open Table, not cool so I had to provide my receipt etc to finally get my points.
I want to return when they have music, worth it. Enjoy
We got a deal through Groupon. Nevertheless, it was worth it as previous reviews on various sites had mentioned. The food was excelent. The wine was excellent. Of course we stayed and ordered above and beyond the Groupon offer, especially when the live band showed up around 8ish. Recommendation, if you want to see the live band, make reservations after 8. They have an outside patio as well, which started filling, however, we opted to stay in due to traffic noise and fumes at the time we arrived as we were hungry from the road. Great atmosphere, great service with a smile, and, most import, great food at reasonable prices.
Excellent service, delicious food and wonderful Spanish music!
LOved it and we will be back with friends next time.
Very impressed. Lots of fun and fabulous food.
Was staying at a nearby hotel and was expecting a boring old dinner.
Restaurant is off a busy road in a neighborhood you are not expecting a great restaurant.
I walked in to a vibrant scene - a band, flamenco dancer, and very enthusiastic crowd. The Tapas was delicious, the service impeccable, wine list had an impressive collection of Spanish wines, and best of all it was reasonably priced.
If I lived in Miami I would go out of my way to eat there, and my next time passing through I will certainly be back.
Wow. What a nice find. Will be back. We took our foodie physician daughter there and shared a nice Rioja wine, tapas, salad, steak. Thought we were on the continent. Thank you!
We have gone to Madrid many times. With or without music, it's a great place to eat authentic Spanish food.
Great music and food and excellent service. They made my husband’s birthday celebration very special.
The Seafood Paella was terrible. The ambiance is fun with live music. They do charge for that. Most of the tapas were delicious. Beware - They include the tip, don't say anything and then the signed receipt just says "Tip" instead of Additional tip like most do when including the tip. It's 18%
The tapas plates were fantastic! Do yourself a favor and go enjoy this traditional food asap!
We were pleasantly surprised by the unassuming Spanish tapas restaurant near the Miami Airport. The food was excellent, authentic, and a good value. Service was outstanding. Make sure you order the Chistorra Flambeada. Highly recommended!
Great food and service. Very energetic and lots of fun.
Comida de excelencia, servivio magnifico y la musica en vivo de maxima calidad.
Mas que satisfecho. Espero regresar pronto.
Fresh food and amazing service
Great Spanish cuisine and excellent service.
It is aleays a nice place to go
We were four for a late Sunday lunch. We split the cherry pepper goat cheese appetizer and the baked goat cheese in red wine appetizer Rulo Cabra. Our child enjoyed the mini meat balls. The adults enjoyed two different paella dishes. Two were Paella Negra (black paella) with some seafood. The third paella was Paella Compesina with meat. Very flavorful. We’ll visit again. See attached photo.
Always is a pleasure to go to this little gem in town. Food is delicious, prices are fair and portions are to share.
We were looking for something different for Father's Day. First visit, and we were not disappointed. It is not a large place, some 10 or so tables. Sporty ambiance, the place you go to have some fun with family and friends, not a romantic dinner date. I initially mistakenly reserved for 2, and ended up being 4 people. We called them, and they were graciously able to accommodate us without any issues, even on such a special day
The sangria options are fresh, refreshing and light, and well-balanced.
Tapas selection is very ample, from your standard crudites to some very original creations. Do not miss on trying their cheese and meat tablitas, the papas bravas, croquettes, and many others. Be adventurous, you could end up loving it. Initially we planned on ordering main courses (the black paella and black pasta were front-runners among many options,) but ended up being too full with just the tapas. We took our own wine, and found the $20 corkage fee a bit steep for the locale and restaurant type. $10 would probably be more reasonable, as that is the going rate for many others in the area. Service was good, and the staff was attentive to our needs. They add on a 15% service (tip) to ALL their checks, so that was a nice touch for us, even though we were only 4 people. They have a large-screen at the far end, and being Copa Mundial time, we were able to watch the games. Overall, a nice fun place. We will be back.
