Lovely New Year’s Eve dinner! Fantastic ambiance. Delicious food. Very romantic venue. Can’t wait to go back for afternoon tea.
The decor is simply stunning. However, we were a bit disappointed by the food. It was not so great tasting, to be quite honest. Also, the portions were really tiny and this is coming from a modest eater (female size 0).
Another thing I could not help but notice was that personnel was very nervous. We could not figure out why, because everything seemed to be in order around us and the service was good. My guess is therefore an overly dominant cook or manager, however I do not know that for certain.
Had high tea with a friend on a weekday afternoon. It's a nice place if you'd like to have a high tea experience. We were one of two parties at the place so it was very quiet and the waiter was readily available.
The food was devine! The service exceptional. Loved joining my two girlfriends to celebrate a special birthday. We had dinner and its was fabulous.
I thought High Tea would consist of sandwiches along with the desserts instead they were a lot of fish dishes that did not complement the tea the atmosphere was great but the food which was the chefs choice I did not enjoy
We were celebrating the holidays and greatly enjoyed the Royal Tea service!
Despite the eccentric décor, even the men of our party of retirees enjoyed brunch at Madeline's. The food was good as always, although the serving of scones seemed smaller than in the past. Only problem was the amplified harp music overwhelmed the room.
Please be sure to confirm that the grand salon is available on the day of your tea, do not assume. Our group was placed in a small room to the side the day of our tea because they had booked the salon for a party and a wedding afterwards.
I can't write a bad enough review for Madeline Garden. Horrible is too kind a word. I urge you t stay away.
