Madeleine’s, located in the heart of the Historic District, is Evansville’s only Fusion Restaurant. Chef Timothy Mills, of The Culinary Institute of America, and Tyra Sikkink named their casual elegant restaurant in honor of their daughter Madeleine. Chef Mills brings his experience from around the country, including New York and Washington, D.C. to the Tri-State. The chicken Parm dish was fantastic. It was well prepared and pleasantly displayed. It was a beautiful and delicious plate. The sides were perfectly complimentary and the chicken shined as the best I have had in my 65 years of a foody.

I let madeleines know we were celebrating our anniversary. Table was beautifully decorated with rose petals, heart candle and red napkins folded into rosettes. Perfect evening

We were early for our reservation and were greeted with warmth, shown immediately to our table and never lacked for attention thereafter. Our server made several excellent suggestions and we were not sorry to have listened to her. We split a salad between two and could have included a third person; the entrée portions were not so large but were entirely adequate. Two of us had the 8 oz. filet which was seasoned well and perfectly cooked. The duck leg was delicious but difficult to eat on the bone. On our server's advice, we split a Madeleine's Foster which used peaches rather than bananas for the base. A terrific improvement on the original. Should concert attendance beckon us again to Evansville, we will look no further for a place to dine.

The food was excellent and the service was superb-especially Max the bartender. My portion was small but my wife’s was ok. The quality made up for quantity. I suspect there was a party upstairs that slowed service and may have influenced portion size. Nonetheless I highly recommend this restaurant for locals and visitors like us.

Fantastic service and amazing bar selection, filet with espresso rub was perfect and butternut squash ravioli wonderful as well! Will definitely visit again next time we’re in Evansville

The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was AMAZING, from appetizer to desert! It was our anniversary and they had the table sweetly decorated. We will definitely be back!
