    My wife and I really enjoyed our dining experience. Both of our meals were excellent. We both had dessert as well. The New York Cheesecake and the Tirimisu were amazing as well.

    Wonderful hidden gem. We stay in New Harmony and was looking far a quite and romantic place to dine. Came across this place and it was wonderful. Food was fantastic and the staff went out of their way to help us. We really lived this place and hope in our next trip to the area to come back.

    We celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary at Madaline's last night. It was very enjoyable. I can't say enough about the food, service and overall atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for something different and special.

    Sadly not on par with prior experiences. Perhaps understaffed, but service was largely lacking, from a long wait for drinks to rushing through the ordering process and leaving the table full of empty dishes. Food was exceptional on one side of the table but the fish wasn’t working. Tuxedo cake was great, but the pot de creme seemed to have been frozen and only partially thawed. We’ve had a great time with excellent food before, so we were certainly surprised. There aren’t a lot of dining options around, so it’s disappointing to see Madeleine’s miss a step.

    Such a beautiful place! Absolutely loved the decor and ambience. The chicken Shawarma was phenomenal. I have never had chicken that moist and juicy before. I also loved the deconstructed crab Rangoon. That was such a clever idea, and it was absolutely delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the dumplings as they were a little dry for my liking but that was just my honest opinion. I probably would’ve enjoyed it with a little more sauce to dip it into, but overall I loved this place, and the next time I make it back down to Evansville, I will definitely be stopping by again!

    I have been dining here for many years & never had a better meal than last night. Every course, each dish--was thoughtfully & beautifully prepared. Last night was a reminder of why this is my favorite spot in town. I will dine there more often; no special occasion needed for great food at a fair price.

    Noise was a bit more since we chose seating on the patio with live music. Ambiance of patio was great on a beautiful not too humid evening. Food excellent. Would highly recommend the Escargot. Specialty cocktails excellent. Suggestion: Our first time to Madeleine’s uncertain of entrance and seating arrangements. Could use a hostess desk or sign to help newcomers know where to check in for reservation.

    The Madeleine’s sirloin steak was EXCELLENT; prepared just as I requested. Had our table reserved and decorated for my birthday (unexpected). Our server- Andrew, was attentive and fun. We will be back the next time our travels take us to Evansville.

    The best food I’ve ever had in Evansville, IN. Would definitely go back again. It is a wonderful special occasion restaurant. It was a bit expensive but the food, service, and ambiance worth worth what they charged. In other words, it was NOT overpriced!

    The food was excellent and the service was pretty good. It was quiet, which made my wife and I feel like we had to whisper almost as we were talking. Not pointing this out as a bad thing, but just a note on the atmosphere.

    The blackened fish was spot on . The filet mignon I had it cooked medium, it was almost perfect. It could of use alittle bit of a sauce but I put some of the patio butter on it and it brought the steak to life. The Madeline's salad I couldn't get enough of. Ending it out with a bourbon banana pudding, it was awesome. Price was alittle high but overall worth it for experience , I plan on a return visit.

    We had the beef tips for an appetizer, and they were phenomenal! All mixed drinks we had were perfect! The chicken and the fettuccini were amazing entrees. Overall, everything was perfect! Not a single complaint.

    Wonderful ambience. The food was delicious. The Caribbean jerk chicken was juicy and was paired with herbed rice and fresh fruit salsa. The gumbo soup was like I was at Louisiana fresh and right off the dock! The bread was delicious warm and the best part was the strawberry whipped butter! Will be back again. So blessed to have a place like this in my home town!

    My wife and I ate in the second floor dining area. It was quiet. We could to change the music to whatever we wanted to hear with Siri (because we were the only ones up there at the time). The waitress was top notch. We had the weeping tiger for an appetizer; New York Demi Glace and the Caribbean jerk chicken for entrees; and cheesecake and chocolate mousse for desert. Everything was fantastic. We could not have been more pleased! Perfect.

    We had a date night and had a wonderful experience. Our server Amen was very attentive and helpful when trying to decide on our entrees. We had the deconstructed crab rangoon, Cesar salad, steak, seafood stew and dessert. All of our food was delicious and the ambience was perfect.
