The pot pie is terrific! Our book club enjoyed the quiet corner table.

Good place to eat and quiet conversation. Food good with some healthy options.

We really enjoy the restaurant, the atmosphere, service, and the food. The food is delicious, espresso love the popovers. It’s one of my mom’s favorite spots.

Enjoyed a delicious luncheon special. It is a lovely restaurant.

Been there several times..it’s a ladies favorite..men to women ratio 20 to 1.
Chicken pot pie is a favorite, Asian salad is my wife’s fav. Swedish meat balls are excellent when on menu.
Today I tried the Turkey dinner and it was great.

Also, you can order from Grub Hub for home delivery and the prices are lower than in the restaurant ( those free popovers aren’t so free)

If you like comfort food in a quiet setting, this is the place to go!

The restaurant is pleasant, the service was very good and the food was good. It was an enjoyable lunch.

The service was exceptionally slow. We waited 15-20 minutes before anyone approached our table. It took a long time for our food to arrive as well. When it did arrive it was warm, but not hot. We are typically quick diners and had three kids and an elderly grandparent and we spent way more time at the restaurant than we anticipated. But the staff was pleasant and the food was good. We used to be frequent diners here with a large family group and still return occasionally with just our family. This reminded us why we don’t come more often.

We had our birthday lunch here this month, seated at a round table in a corner of the restaurant. It was quiet and we were able to converse with one another. Our server was attentive and the food was good and comforting. We had delicious popovers prior to our entrees with honey butter. It's so nice to have some things that dont change. I had the familiar famous meatloaf with the delicious red pepper gravy, mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. All was tasty and delicious. To top it off, I was given a pie e of bread pudding, complete with whipped cream and a mint leaf and 7 spoons. We shared. Fun time with friends, comfy, quiet, gem of a place to spend for any meal you choose. We were all seated and pleased.

The waiter and food were excellent. The host was rude and acted as if we were a bother.

It was a great cozy atmosphere next to the fireplace. Server was great.

Service was very slow. Seemed short 1-2 servers. Food was great, especially those divine popovers.

The food was good, the service was not! I do not know if they were short-staffed or what the issue was. We waited a very long time for a server and she was not attentive. I called over someone for assistance, who I think was a manager. Then he disappeared. We had 12:30 reservations and the restaurant was not packed. I would not recommend Macy's Lakeshore!

Usually we have a good experience dining here. But today was to celebrate a birthday. Our waitress never wished the birthday guest a happy birthday. Our waitress disappeared for a long while. The soup we typically get didn’t taste the same. It was good but not as good as we remembered it in the past. The popovers were as good as ever and the hostess was a delight.

As usual at Lakeshore, we could catch up and visit as well as really enjoy the always-tasty meal
presented by Max with such flair that you'd think he himself prepared the meal.

Great place for friends to visit with. Service great healthy options and portions are of good size. Great place. I have to say it is better than the Ridgedale restaurant. Smaller portions and more noise at that location. Love the Southdale Restaurant.

This was a nice surprise! Who'd ever think that a restaurant in a department store would be good?

Enjoyed a relaxing lunch with friends. Waitress was helpful, plenty good nutritious choices from the menu. Popovers are a special treat.

Our visit to Lakeshore Grill was not our first, but one of many over the years. We keep coming back and introducing friends to this well kept secret, as we like it so well. Never had a bad meal and always enjoyed the atmosphere and the service.

The salmon I ordered was rather dry. The walleye my girlfriend ordered was heavily breaded and her green beans were limp. We ordered a dessert and it took about 15 minutes before it was delivered. Our waitress was delightful but all in all it wasn’t a fabulous experience.

I always enjoy Macy's Lakeshore Grill. The popovers are perfect, as is the black currant ice tea. The Minnesota Wild Rice Soup is always tasty.

Best popovers in the Twin Cities! I ordered the gluten free rotisserie turkey sandwich not because I’m a gluten free person...but because this turkey sandwich had far less calories than the one on the regular menu. The turkey was sliced super thick — delicious.
My friend ordered the chicken, peaches, strawberry salad with walnut cranberry bread....she finished every morsel. Only disappointment was that the peaches were not fresh, but canned.
Of course we couldn’t leave without splitting one more popover....with butter and jam.....and we called that dessert! YUM!

Great place to meet up with friends. The Popovers are extra special. We could use regular voices and easily hear the conversation. Imagine That! Thankfully signage within Macy's is good because it's not easy to find as it is tucked in the lower level. Definitely worth the trip!

We had a lovely quiet lunch. Only downgraded by one star because one of our party ordered tuna salad sandwich and received a turkey sandwich. The correction took longer than it should have. Otherwise a great experience.

Brunch food was not at the same standard as their regular menu. Was very disappointed. Regular menu is great!

The food came from the kitchen very quickly. The waiter was friendly and efficient. The room was 3/4 full, yet we could converse easily and not be bothered by other conversations.

The Happy hour menu was a lovely surprise. We ordered wine and a hummus platter, and enjoyed our popovers with soup and salad. Always a nice atmosphere.

Popovers, Mandarin Chicken Salad, and wonderful iced tea make a perfect lunch. Full of nostalgia for those who remember and loved the restaurants at Dayton’s.

Good as always. I like that this is a place where you can have a conversation with others at your table.

It is a rather dated decor with lots of kid people. The waitress was not attentive and it took a while to get our bill. There was a light bulb flickering above my head which drive me crazy. Restaurantbhard ti fund unless you are a regular. I felt like I was looking for a dressing room.
