Excellent atmosphere and food. The étouffée was delicious. I will be back to try other dishes. The service was excellent as well. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Great CFS !
Always great food & Service. Rene done good!
The food was good, appetizers and cocktails were the best, service was reall6 slow and it was a Thursday night, so they weren’t really crowded. It’s not a cheap place to eat, sick I expected better service.
This was my fourth visit. I like the location and ambience, have dined inside and out. One was a Sunday brunch that was very nice, then three more dinners. Never disappointed.
Great food as usual & Garrett is superb wait staff!
The crawfish etouffee and blackened red fish special was EXCELLENT! Service was friendly, informative, and attentive.
Highly recommend Mac's as we have dined there many times and always have the best experience!
Love this place and there prime rib, and there salad.
Rib eye was excellent
Grapefest is going on so grapevine was busy. Parking tough. Macs was busy, but we were seated quickly. We moved to a table on the patio, which was a bit less busy. We had crab cakes, I had the shrimp and filet w veggies. The food was good. Prepared and presented well, tasted great. Service was good.
We were looking for a place that took reservations so we could eat after attending Grapefest with another couple. We've been to places in the past that were over crowded and very noisy. Mac's was PERFECT! We were able to have conversations with our friends. We weren't looking to break the bank and the menu pricing allowed for choosing mid-priced meals like Chicken Fried Steak to more expensive meals like Steak and Shrimp. We were pretty wined out by the time we got there, but the wine menu is similar to the food menu allowing for mid to high cost brands and variety. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the bread and house salad were above average. The outside patio looked very appealing. We'would like to go back for that once fall really comes to Texas.
Love Mac’s!!! Great food and service!!
Good food, but they up charge for everything. It makes for such an unpleasant experience.
The restaurant lived up to all of the reviews. Jason was a excellent waiter. Gumbo was best I have had out of New Orleans. The prime rib was juicy, extremely tender and very tasty. Definitely will be back next time I am in the area.
Very noisy to the point where we could not have a dinner conversation between the four of us.
The atmosphere, food and service are all 5 star! A hidden gem in Grapevine!
Table of 5. the manager was often checking on our table which we appreciated very much. Food was great. Good choices and great dessert.
It was great. Always is.
Wonderful Restaurant Week menu. My spouse had the soup & prime rib while I had the salad & sea bass. The best part was my apple galette with cinnamon ice cream and my spouse's black & white mousse cake. I had a taste & it was so decadent & rich!
The roast corn cream sauce was delicious and made up for the over cooked
Luke warm chicken. Everything else was excellent. Our waiter was very nice.
I'll definitely go back.
Came for restaurant week, it was our first time. Food was great and service as well.
Will definitely return!
Datenight at Mac's on Main during DFW restaurant week. The blue crabfinders was an added appetizers, my favorite.
The sea bass could have used some char for taste.
The garlic mashed potatoes and vegs were delicious.
Didn't care for the file gumbo. This is one of my favorite restaurants but I wasn't fond of my meal from the dfw restaurant week menu, but a portion of the processes benefit the Lena Pope foundation. So no regrets.
I'll return but I'll order off the regular menu.
We have dined at Mac’s on numerous occasions and have always been impressed with the quality of the menu and the ambiance. Our meals were magnificent and came away thoroughly impressed once again. Mac’s is at the top of our list for dining in the DFW Metroplex.
Sea Bass was bland, but everything else was outstanding! Jordan was very attentive and did an excellent job taking care of our party of eight. We tried Mac’s for restaurant week and will definitely put them on our “go-to” rotation. I’d like to thank Jordan for making my Son-in-law’s birthday a special occasion.
Participated in Restaurant Week & thoroughly enjoyed the meal & service. Have never had a meal we didn't like. Will definitely go back to Mac's on Main.
It's in a great location ; nice atmosphere and delicious menu.
Tried for the first time Mac's on Main during DFW Restaurant Week. Food was delicious and service was outstanding.
First time in Grapevine and so glad we found Mac's. Our server was delightful and the food was excellent . We had the Restaurant Week menu and everything was delicious !
Great Restaurant Week find. Menu and service were over the top.
Get the gumbo!
Mac's does not disappoint when it comes to an innovating menu and good food. Service is excellent . Special note there is plenty of parking off street behind the restaurant.
Lovely evening and great food
Visited for my wife's birthday ( this is where she wanted to go). Very friendly and attentive staff. Awesome menu with a great variety of dishes. I think everyone at our table of six had something different. Food was superb. We tell people all of the time that Mac's is the place to go in Grapevine.
Went there at 6 PM on a Friday night for KRLD Restaurant Week. Enjoyed the special menu options for the event and all that were served to our party of 4 were excellent. They had a nice wine selection; not extensive, but adequate for finding something to pair with the menu options and suit most everyone's taste. Service was very attentive, although it slowed down a bit as more customers were seated. Only small issue was that it got a bit noisy; with cement floors and other hard surfaces, there was little to absorb sounds/noise.
We went there for our anniversary but was surprised that they don’t do anything for couples celebrating their anniversaries. They only do a key lime pie slice for birthdays. Special occasions are a prime reason for going out to upscale restaurants.
Very good moderately priced food. Good service and friendly atmosphere.
Very good brunch. Always great service.
We drive over 2 hours usually every 2 months to eat here. We love their brunch most of all.
We were in the mood for steak and debated between going to Pappas Steakhouse or to try a new restaurant. My husband and I decided to give Mac on Main a try since we have passed it several times on our way to the Grapevine bike trail. All I can say is that it was unmemorable. The decor looks like a coffee shop. Only one salad offering of iceberg lettuce with blue cheee. No tomatoes or anything else on the salad. My husband had prime rib. It was okay. I had a filet. It was the kind you get prewrapped with bacon around it. The meals come with sides included. Just food... Dallas has so many amazing restaurants, why waste an evening out on the ordinary, when you can spend your money on extraordinary.
