I originally had a reservation for 5 but changed it to 14 a bit last minute and they were able to accommodate !! I appreciated the beverage and food recommendations and friendly service that was provided. Place was very clean and pleasant to have celebrated my birthday. 10/10 would definitely return!

Good food and great service. We always walk past this restaurant and one night we decided to have date night here. We were pleasantly surprised by the great service and food. We will definitely be back.

The stuffed muscles, stuffed octopus, the pastas and the steak were awesome. Excellent service as usual.

I took a dear friend to Macello‘s for dinner. She wanted to go someplace off the tourist track, but with good food. Marcellos has never let me down. I wasn’t sure if she wanted to eat casual or have some thing a little more fancy. The menu there covers all the bases. I thought we could do pizza and salad some pasta, or a full entrée. She ordered the Italian wedding soup to start and said it was excellent. I had the Marcello salad, which is fine, but was unremarkable. We ordered two pasta dishes to share. The wait staff was very attentive of and when we indicated we were sharing, they brought us not only the two large bowls of pasta but individual plates so we could split the orders as we wished. One of the pastas was on special with a sauce of cream and Beratta cheese with mushrooms and pistachios. OMG it was fabulous. Our second pasta was more traditional with their delicious red sauce and pieces of super tender beef. We finished off the meal with gelato and tartufo. Everything was perfect with the exception of the noise level. When we first went in everything was fine, but later there was a couple very loud tables nearby and conversation proved difficult. This wouldn’t put me off again as the food was outstanding. By the way, they have valet parking.

Advertised as quiet, the noise level was high. Concrete floor and no shades over skylights made the otherwise cool ambiance, very cold and loud. $28 for lousy unripe tomato salad was unacceptable. Mussels tasted nasty …couldn’t finish our dinner. Disappointed at a restaurant we had high expectations. Our server was delightful.

Loved this restaurant...really convenient Fulton Market location with valet parking options, very cool interior space, wonderful atmosphere. Food exceptional, service perfect and the best GF menu I've ever seen at an Italian restaurant!
