Macchialina Taverna Rustica
Friday & Saturday 6pm-11:30pm
New additions to the menu are most fantastic! A hearty and refreshing zucchini salad is not just good, but good for you, too. And the spaghetti with cockles is absolutely delish.
We love this restaurant. They always have good food, great servers and wonderful music.
Excellent food and service, but mark-up on wine was beyond excessive
I pass by for the second time, last one was like 3 years ago, and definitely things change a lot, is not anymore a truly and cozy Italian restaurant, the service was compare with quick service, nothing especial and everything in a rush. the food was below average for a place like this, the vongole Pasta was extremely hot, my friend wasn't able to eat it, i change it for mine (Lasagna) but even me that i like and tolerate very much hot dishes was not enjoyable. We advise the waiter that didn't care about the comment. too expensive for not being especial and having a very poor service.
so sad to see restaurants like this loosing the essence and the wow Factor.
Macchialina is a wonderful restaurant. Small and intimate, not quiet, but somehow the ambient noise is not disturbing and adds to the energy of the place. The service is always excellent and the waiters are well versed about the food and wines they serve. The portions are small, that is for sure. Except the veal which is a huge slab of veal and was really nothing special. The polenta with Bolognese sauce was quite good as were the salads and the fish. The bread pudding for dessert was really good but too small a serving to share if you like desserts. We have dined here many times and will continue to patronize and recommend this place.
I have been a long time customer to Macchialina, over 5 years. The quality of service is different every time (won't go into detail) but the food always aim to satisfies. Their wine selection is amazing, and the food speaks for it's self. It is a neighborhood gem, if you drive past it, you MIGHT miss it. Be careful of parking there, as the park lot TOWs ALOT. If you live in Miami, this is my FAVORITE Italian restaurant. I alway recommend it to even locals that have live here for ages and they cant thank me enough (This restaurant is very comparable to Scarpetta by Scott Conant in Fontainebleau) If you're thinking about dining - DO SO (limited seating so go early, by 10pm they start running out of dishes)
Go Thursday for ten dollar pastas! Amazing drinks and deserts too. The pomodoro sounds boring, but it’s amazing!
Thursday pasta special. $10. Can’t be beat
the service team is very aggressive and the resaturant is very noisy, food is overated and woudnt reccomend this place
Macchialina was absolutely delicious!! You can’t go wrong with any pasta, although the spaghetti pomodoro was my fave. If you can make if there for the $10 Thursday pasta, you are one lucky duck. The service was great and everyone was friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We meet with our family from TX every year at M.... if it would be closer to BOynton Beach, we would go at least 1 x per week and bring other guests.
I suggest, open one in our neighbor hood as our Italian restaurants are mediocre to say the least! 😁
Delicious pasta and meatballs. Portion size on small side but ended up filling me up. Tiramisu was very good as well.
Great Thursday Pasta for $10. High quality food and lively place
Best Italian food I’ve had in years!! The polenta was to die for!
All around Fabulous!!!
Local trattoria. Excellent food. Good wine list. Waitress was a bit rude and inattentive. Noticed other servers were much more pleasant and interested in the customers.
Is really good!!! The flavors are awesome!!! Love it
Quite possibly the best Italian restaurant in SOBE. The pastas are fantastic, wine selection has plenty of gems, the service is always great, and the polenta is addictive. On top of it all, they are always very gracious and hospitable when they see my three year old walk in... Make sure to make a reservation.
From the appetizers to desert each course was fantastic. The waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing. Our waitress was helpful explaining each of the menu items. The lasagna with short ribs was outstanding. I am recommending it to friends and family.
We got our last dinner at this lovely place after a 10 days stay in Miami. We had a perfect last evening there 👍🏻
It was great
After reading a review about the Thursday night pasta specials we figured we would give it a try. It did not disappoint! Tagliatelle con funghi was yummy and plentiful. Cavatelli special was equally substantial and delicious. We splurged and had the bread pudding which was super. Great waitress! Would def put on your list to try.
Went for Pasta Night before the place gets packed and it was a treat. Good mood. Good service. Delicious dinner.
Hands down the best pasta I have ever had. Service and atmosphere were great. We will be back when in Miami.
Have been here 20 or more times, it is consistently excellent in all areas: food, service, ambience. A creative kitchen that keeps it simple and delicious. May 22 had very tasty zucchini and fava bean salad and the best creamy polenta ever. Followed by the best taglionini al funghi (oyster mushrooms & parmigiano). This is truly one of the best restaurants anywhere and a joy to return to regularly.
Great neighbourhood gem! Food is fantastic. Good change from typical Miami fare.
Best meal we’ve had in Miami Beach.
Very good experience except that we had to wait fifteen minutes after our reservation time to be seated.
Very rushed service- felt like they wanted our party of four in and out quickly.
Very loud- conversation difficult.
Not in a hurry to return.
Never a disappointment. This restaurant is a gift. Love. Love. Love.
Took my wife for a quiet early evening meal. Food is exceptional and authticaly Italian. Delivered on all fronts. Service was attentive and definitely helped during the ordering process. An outstanding meal.
I went for dinner. Our server was really good.. They were very busy despite reservations we had to wait around 20 minutes. Pasta plates are really awesome. Pasta is homemade. The short rib lasagna is really tasty and madewith excllent ingredients. I aslo tried the past with mushrooms and cavaiattelli. I also enjoyed the burrata. The place is good for small groups and couples. Place is noisy but enjoyed the atsmosphere.
I will definitevely reccommend it
Service and food were outstanding. Did the tasting menu and it was affordable and received a lot of food!!!
Excellent Italian food. Everything tasted delicious and I would highly recommend to anybody looking for quality Italian food.
Awesome food and service and great allllll the time
Absolutely delicious! Wonderful Italian food and fantastic specials, very close to home, absolutely loved it. :) Try the special of the day!
Great tasting dishes, full of flavor and authenticity! Nothing else matters if all is in place. And all was in place...
Really nice small Italian restaurant on Alton! Tried the tasting menu with a party of 3 and we shared different dishes. The food was excellent and we had a French waitress which was perfect! Would definitely recommend to try it out and will go back next time I'm in Miami!
Amazing food! great service! only negative is the noise, it is extremely loud, probably more for parties, groups or families than a romantic date... However like I said food is fantastic... the cabbage cacao e pepe was amazing as well as something a simple as a burrata... Tiramisu was good but not as reviews claim that it is out of this world I've had better...
