Fresh miyagi oysters, perfectly dressed garden salad with roasted beets, and delicious fried chicken made for a lovely evening on the exquisite sun porch. Divine martinis and excellent service will keep us coming back for more!

Charming, quiet place for a great meal. This is not the sort of place you’d go to for what most think of a pedestrian choice, but they have made fried chicken with greens, black eyed peas and cornbread into something memorable. We usually favor the duck, and it’s wonderful, always. But we’re in love with the chicken. Dang but it’s just about perfect. Nice wine list, not over priced with good local choices, thoughtfully picked.

Lovely atmosphere. The lamb shank was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. The cauliflower vegetarian dish was good but very simply prepared. The chocolate creme brulee was unique and delicious. I would definitely eat here again when I return to Mendocino.
