dinner at MacArthur‘s was a terrible experience first of all that a private party of over a dozen people who were loud drinking, noisy vulgar and genuinely discomforting. Additionally, the food was mediocre, and the service was horrific. They should be a place to avoid eating in the mess hall at the Academy would be tastier and a better experience .

This was a special dinner for our 20th wedding anniversary. On a Wednesday night in the summer MacArthur's Restaurant is not very busy. None the less, the staff was attentive, the food excellent and the view from the outside second floor terrace of the Hudson and surrounding Vally could not be beat. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. A passing thunderstorm left us with a beautiful rainbow over the Hudson River to make the night more memorable.
