Lovely food and atmosphere
Food was amazing, loads of choice in the menu and everything looked really good!! Reasonable prices and friendly staff.
Also happy hour takes drinks down to £5 which is great value for money!
Great food, lovely owners and a super atmosphere - we will return
Cosy sitting arrangement, nice decor and heart warming food. Service was fast and efficient however waittress forgot to add to the order Mac n cheese (I assumed she just forgot and I wasn’t that hungry anyway so I left it) music a little too loud for me personally, but good food!
Phenomenal food and lively atmosphere
Great service and amazing food. Will be returning .
Great to try something different and so tasty.
I come to this restaurant all the time. The staff, the vibes, the food, the drinks.. its all perfect! Will definitely be back here again
This was great find! The food was excellent, very affordable and staff were really good. Only downside is that it is a very small venue so on the Friday I visited, it was overcrowded and noisy, the music was a bit too loud and it was difficult to get hold of staff...but that was due to how busy it was.
I will definitely be coming back, just not on a Friday.
The foods got me hooked, i keep coming back!!
Had a great meal here before a gig at Jazz Cafe on a Tuesday night. We had delicious squid and salt fish with dumplings for starters. Lovely. Curry goat, brown chicken & jerk chicken were all very tasty. Very happy to get good roti too! Decor and music give very chilled out vibe. It had filled up by 7:30. Clearly very popular local place. Will definitely be back again.
The food was amazing. Soo delicious. And the staff were soo friendly. You get a lot for your money and every bit of it is worth it.
This is a great little place for an informal meal with loved ones and friends. The food was tasty and hearty and the service warm and friendly if a little slow (I applaud the one server who was covering the whole restaurant on a busy Sunday evening.) Happy Hour was a bonus!
The food was of good quality and value. It’s not the place to go if you want a quiet night as the music is good but loud.
Came with my partner for his birthday after I saw you Instagram page..easy to book a table and am glad I did,as it was a full house..service was very good .loved the music being played and I must say LOVED LOVED LOVED the Black River iced tea cocktail x2..will definitely be back.
I booked a table at 10:30 to go there and find out that their kitchen closes at 10:00 only their bar stay open until at 12am which I find stupid cause why would they allow me to book an table for two online for after 10:00pm. The service is bad and the workers!!!
Very disappointed went for there for a friends Birthday got there 20 mins late booking was for 10.30 got there 10.50 was refused service I will not be going there again found the bar man rude and made me feel very unwelcome. Won't be made to feel like that again.
The food is ALWAYS awesome👌🏾
Yes....The food and service was great... al served with a smile... and a wonderful sense of humour to go..
I will most definitely be coming here again...and i will most surely recommend the restaurant to my friends..
Thank You for a memorable evening!
Love this place! The food is spot on, staff are a delight, really friendly and make you feel very comfortable - perfect atmosphere and music for a relaxed dining experience. THANKYOU! xxx
Very happy with everything lovely atmosphere for my birthday only one comment would be a dessert menu would be nice
My wife and I went here for our wedding anniversary meal and we feel we made the right choice. The food was wonderful, I had the Jamaican mixed grill and my wife went for a chicken wrap both were very flavoursome. Service was very quick and friendly and the prices were good.
Great place, great food, great staff, great cocktails.
I’ve already told friends about it and can’t wait to go back. I recommend the oxtail and bean stew fantastic
My dining experience at Ma Petite Jamaica was extremely disappointing. Firstly I turned up to the on time an was told my booking was not in their diary which was shocking as i booked it on open table two days prior . The waiter said he would try squeeze us in which he managed to do did as it was a Saturday. Ordered two cocktails which were lovely and came quickly. We ordered two Jerk mix grill which was a huge disappointment because it was not traditional jerk at all, It completely lacked the jerk flavours. Not what I expected at all from a claims to be 'Authentic Jamaican' the meat was not even grilled!!! It just looked like it came of the oven and the chef covered it a in a dark smokey BBQ sauce and had the audacity to call it jerk! The Rice and Peas and coleslaw were fine . The Plantains were not ripe at all. We couldn't finish the meal it was meat was not edible barely touched it to be honest, with that decided to leave and dine somewhere else.
Beautiful Carribbean food at affordable prices. Ambiance, music was perfect . And staff were polite, friendly and attentive.
Drinks were nice however didn't say on the menu that there were 2 for 1.I was handed a flyer on the street and decided to ask if they had the happyhour.
It's not child friendly as it has not baby changer in any of the toilets.
No highchair for baby also.
Service in general not the best, could be better.
Everything was great. Really enjoyed ourselves. Shame they couldn't do the Salmon but the Snapper was an excellent substitute
The food was amazing!!! We had the Jerk chicken wings grilled vegetables mac and cheese and of course rice and peas. That food was so darn delicious we had to go again the next day. This is the ONLY place that had great food. A must in London
We had a table booked for 6pm and ordered about 10 minutes after sitting down. It then took almost 25 minutes for our drinks and 60 minutes for our food to arrive. There was only one woman serving and waiting on the fully booked restaurant. Thankfully the food is amazing so it is worth the wait...
The food is good and tasty. The ambience is nice, with reggae music playing lightly in the background.
Excellent food & atmosphere as ALWAYS, but this was my 5th visit & still the service is below average, why is there only ever 1 member of staff waitressing?? Waited like 20mins for the bill then another 20mins to pay.
The most handsome curry goat I have ever tasted, a little on the salty side, but it could also be because I never have salt in my grub.
Very good hearty food! Great customer service! Will be back again next week!!
This was our first visit to Ma Petite's and I must say as you walk in you are greeted by a distinctly caribbean vibe - brilliant! Felt at home straight away.. Good food, great service, lovely friendly staff Yea mon! Me checkin' back soon!!
Great service great food
Good food, the ambiance was great, the staff were friendly, definitely a great place to have nice food with a group of friends.
Went to this restaurant after seeing a show in Camden on a Thursday late afternoon...On arriving at the restaurant, it was busing with quite a few customers in the main restaurant area, with traditional Caribbean music being played, which together with the restaurant's decor & smells of cuisine being cooked conjured up an environment setting of actually being away in the Caribbean! Food served was delicious and plenty of it, however, as to expect in a busy restaurant service was a little on the slow side but well worth the wait with a pint of Red Stripe! Definitely would recommend a visit and will be returning ASAP!!!
