Huevos rancheros over hash browns are AMAZING!
We came for brunch & had a fabulous meal. BEST poached eggs I have ever had (perfectly done, which is not easy) and I savored the hashbrowns in little bites so I wouldn't finish too soon. Would definitely return. The service was wonderful. A GREAT place for our 37th anniversary morning.
The food was excellent and so was our server. My only complaint is it took 50 min. to receive our breakfast order.
M Street is always friendly and accommodating to my daughter in a wheelchair. We love the vibe and food at M Dtreet!
My husband and I selected this place for a Birthday Brunch for our father. M Street Kitchen was better than expected. It’s a rather large restaurant and the food was amazing. Per other’s reviews I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict; the English muffin was a little tough, but the overall dish did not disappoint. The eggs were perfectly poached for me (I like the yolk runny). We definitely will be coming back!!! Oh and my husband LOVED he could order ONE PERFECT PANCAKE 🥞.
Had a fabulous dinner/happy hour here the other night. After having only been for a crazy hectic Sunday brunch a few months back, I was very pleasantly surprised at the peace and ambiance the other evening. I’m glad I gave it another chance.
And, Michael, our server, was out of this world incredible! He made it amazing. He gets alllll the votes in my book!
the food quality was really disappointing. we used to come here all the time and the quality of food has drastically decreased, we won't be coming back.
Our server forgot multiple things, got an order wrong, never acknowledged it, and generally just didn’t care. The prices increased, but the quality of the service hasn’t
Really enjoyed the food here for Sunday Brunch. Lime, Basil, Soda with a shot of Tito's was refreshing and delicious. LOVED the house favorites, Avacado Toast and Santa Fe Hash Browns--great flavor! Nice service, nice crowd, lots of people with their pups. Ouside dining was very convivial. Inside was lovely, but very loud. Great mix of people. Great mix of offerings on the menu. Would definitely come back again.
Wonderful service! We were meeting with friends and actually waited over an hour for our food because they lost our ticket. They were so apologetic and brought us free pastries and a round of drinks. I understand things get hectic during morning brunch and it probably doesn't happen very often that they lose your order but if it hadn't been for their customer service I might not go back. Would definitely recommend to a friend. The food was great, the drinks were nice, service was top notch and we were able to bring our dog!! They have a nice outdoor seating area that's very dog friendly.
Very good food, value and service!
All that we ordered was great! We shared a lovely veggie salad and beef tacos!!!
the food was good and the service was good. The parking validation machine was broken and the suggestion to "use the intercom" to tell them and "it'll be all good" was not only dumb but useless. No one ever answered the intercom (it was a sunday morning) and I had to pay $10 to exit the parking structure so that kind of ruined a good experience overall. Please make sure you get that fixed asap.
Great for breakfast! Homemade English muffins!
The salad I had was of average quality. The service was pleasant and apologetic for being so slow and forgetful. A panhandler came by and hit me up for money. Interior seating is dark and there is no A/C; exterior seating is adjacent to the street and loud. There are a lot of guests, so my opinion is probably in the minority. I have been here close to 20 times, but this will be my final visit.
Best happy hour in Santa Monica
Great ambiance. Had the hash brown eggs Benedict for brunch. It was amazing. Highly recommend.
The fish was fishy. The spinach was the best thing we had.
Great place, good service and excellent food. We sat outside so the noise level was not a problem.
Very family friendly.
The best pancakes in town!! Every breakfast meal I get is delicious
Food was great — good portions and tasty flavors! Service was excellent and accommodating with my elderly mother with an oxygen mask. However, it's summer and I wish the interior was cold and hot open to the outside. It made the meal too hot and we wanted to leave after an hour.
I was disappointed. From what I had read, I had high expectations to have an amazing breakfast. However, that was not the case. The food was bland which is interesting since I had the Mexican hash browns. Our server was clearly unhappy with her life and working there today. When I asked what she recommended, she recommended the “Mexican” hash browns and as she said the word “Mexican” she looked directly at my friend who is clearly Mexican then proceeded to look her up and down. Who does that: someone who is miserable?!?! We choose to ignore her and continue with our breakfast. Two redeemers: chocolate chip pancake and the mimosa.
The brunch is fabulous -- but underwhelmed with the salads (Sad) and lunch menu.
The quality has really gone down lately. It started when they changed their menu last year, taking off amazing items like the forbidden rice bowl and the kalbi bowl, for which we used to travel there specifically. Those dishes were amazing! When that first happened, the server told us many other customers shared our disappointment (but the items never came back so I suppose no one listened). Now it's more run of the mill burgers, salads, plus some tacos. Meh. We keep giving them another chance, but today my husband's flat little Impossible Burger came and made us laugh with its tiny boring white bun and little bowl of mixed greens. It looked like a kid's meal. There are just so many better options for that. The place was dead on a usually packed Sunday night, so we can't help but feel we aren't the only people feeling this way. Good luck, M Street.
Awesome brunch spot: Highly recommend the English muffins, eggs and cocktails
Love this place. Very accommodating and friendly. They always make space for my daughter who is a wheelchair. The food and drinks are excellent as well.
My family and I love most everything about M Street! The staff is super friendly and always very accommodating to my daughter who is in a wheelchair. A++
The food and service was fantastic! Very family friendly.
Good food, great service and nice atmosphere! We really enjoyed the evening!
The food and everything was ok. Service was minimal and terrible. Child portion is small and my child is a very small eater. Very disappointing. Also, expensive for the quality of food.
New menu, poor food quality, overpriced for "fast food"
Fantastic service every time. Tends to get very very loud when busy.
Took the family there for a nice Sunday lunch. They were very accommodating for babies, not just us, but we saw at least 3 other tables with young ones. Everyone enjoyed the food.
Avocado toast was excellent!
Great food and dog friendly :)
Excellent food & service
Service was terrible. Gave us room temperature water and brought other tables ice water. Took a long time to take order, then completely ignored our table after delivering food. Have been to this restaurant before for business and personal and the service has been OK, but this was ridiculous. It made me feel stupid for suggesting the restaurant.
Was expecting a better seating and attitude from the greeters esp. when we had informed them it was for a special occasion via reservation request and when checking in a little early to make sure they were expecting us. I understand she was training the other greeter but customer service shouldn't suffer.
Good thing we had come early because no one told us the streets were going to blocked off. No parking for blocks away for annual summer fair.
And yet all this planning, they sat us smack in the middle of the noisy crowd, as if the reservations nor coming early didn't matter.
But good food and appreciated the nice attention and friendly attitude of our server.
Would not recommend coming here for any special occasions but good for casual dining.
A little disappointed. Maybe next time will be better with less expectations.
Nice restaurant with a fun vibe. Portions are healthy however the food is just ok.
