Very limited dinner menu. The removal of salmon and baked potatoes from the menu dissapointed. Excellent beer selection for a pub.
Great local restaurant, very interesting setting. Server was fabulous. I had a chicken dish which was totally dry and tasteless but my husband had a steak which he liked. The salads were good with great blues cheese dressing! And we had a fabulous chocolate cake for desert, rich and dense with great flavor.
A group of 10 of us stopped here before a soccer game at Rose Hulman for lunch. We always love to find local places and this one didn’t disappoint. It’s a fun, eclectic place with plenary of great beer choices and food selections. The service was friendly and accurate which can be hard to do with a larger group. I would recommend this restaurant for a good lunch or a fun night out.
19th century venue with good food and service, family friendly also. Cost is mid-range.
The building has historical value and therefore there is a lot of nice, old wood. Very nice ambiance if you like this type of environment. Service was good and the food was good. Especially the pizza; excellent.
My wife and I met friends there. Our food was good. Waiter was excellent
I expected more food (fries & toppings for burger) than what I received at $12.99. Other than that, every seemed to enjoy themselves.
The staff, thes food and especially the ambiance were fantastic.
Pleasantly surprised by this place. It was an old brewery and I highly recommend trying their champagne beer! Pizza and pub burger were good, service was quick. Definitely take a little time to look around and see the "wishing well" in the bar area, old elevator, and other neat antiques.
Great service!
Cool atmosphere!
This is a great place for a nice pub burger or pizza. Really decent beer selection both tap and bottle. Even able to buy bottles for carry out. Have been coming here for a few years and will keep coming back.
A well maintained 19th century venue with generally good food and service.
Great place to eat, Italian beef was awesome
We had two sandwiches. A Philly cheesesteak sandwich and a grilled pork sandwich. The pork was very dry, and the cheese drowned out the taste of the meat on the other sandwich
The fried shrimp was good though.
Our waitress was nice and attentive.
Used to have AMAZING food. Not anymore. Salad was soggy and old. Onion rings were greasy and way over breaded. Hamburger was just OK. The building is absolutely beautiful but not the food.
Great food and service. We will definitely be back.
Good Food and Service in historic 19th century building
We had made reservations and even when we showed up late the staff was still very understanding and kind. We got our seats right away and the food was very fresh and delicious. M only complaint is that the service was a little slow (they seemed to be a little busy/rushed) and the restaurant was quite loud.
I hosted a dinner for new hires from Rose-Hulman here. We had a group of 14 and had tables that were setup off to themselves that provided us a quieter area where we could converse. The service and food was good and reasonable priced. Nothing fancy.
We had a reservation for 13 at 5:00. The place was not busy at all and we still had to set at 2 different tables. It was a 2 family outing that we were looking forward to setting together and didn't happen disappointed!!
Ate at Mogger's while visiting from out of town for my son's ISU graduation. We ended up getting an entire room for our group of 14---WAS AMAZING! Great Service! Great food! HUGE list of some very unique bottled beers!! Highly recommended!!!!!
The beer selection is first class. Entrees were great; well prepared and great flavor.
They were able to accommodate a large party on a busy weekend....great service!
Our visit was, overall, fine. Lots of positives. However, I made our reservation through OpenTable. When we got there they had NO idea we had a reservation. They were not ready for us. I'm just not sure why they have the OpenTable option on their site when they do not actually use it.
My dad also had a plastic wrapper in his bratwurst, which bears mentioning. Again we had a positive visit overall but both of these things need some work.
