I think this is a reliable local restaurant. They’re doing well, despite Covid and feature many SD outdoor tables.
We enjoyed seeing the Street from an outdoor cafe, with a glass of Pinot noir....
Perfect spot for a Sunday evening dinner with plenty of COVID-19 protections. We sat outside on the patio and the food was wonderful.
nice French Bistro, good service Heat lamps would be helpful for outdoor dining
It was my Fiancé’s birthday. The restaurant was really good. The serving staff were amazing. The food so delicious. I ordered Bronzino and my fiancé ordered salmon, both were delicious.
We had awesome time. They even got my fiancé a candle in the crème brûlée that we ordered for dessert 😛
Was there for HH. Our waiter disappeared after bringing our drinks but I went inside and found a very nice waitress who handled our order. Sat outside - no heaters even though it was a bit cold in the shade- we kept our jackets on. Food was mostly good- oysters were not. Drinks were tasty. Would go again if they get heaters for colder weather. Appreciated having actual table service.
Dog friendly outdoor service; always excellent service and decadent food.
Great food, only one vegetarian option. Service was impeccable, light-hearted and thoroughly appreciated. We enjoyed a complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. The ambience is a little sterile/cold. No table cloths, seating in rows, lots of glass. The bar dominates half the restaurant although nicely separated from the dining area. Tables were widely spaced, clean - felt safe for Covid time. Our bill for 2 with a glass of wine came to $100 - a little pricey.
Very good Belgian food & beer. One of my neighborhood favorites
We had a perfect anniversary dinner. They even brought us champagne at the end to cheers the event.
Service and wine (recommendations) were on point!
Lots of outdoor seating during the pandemic and excellent food as always. I always try a fish entree and this time I had the halibut which was delicious. This place is one of my favorites in the area.
Great place and delicious food. Found this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and check it has good rating from Yelp. We had a reservation on the same evening after moving our daughter to her new apartment in Arlington. The server was quite prompt. The wine and beer selection are good. We tried a beer flights. We ordered watermelon gazpacho(kind of sweet) steak tartare (just ok), brazino and scallops (delicious). Overall, high recommendation and we plan to come back!
I am a repeat offender. Do I need to say more? Food is great, and outside arrangements are great.
Wonderful food and great service and outdoor dining is ample!
It's great to see Lyon Hall continuing to provide great quality, great service, and expanded outdoor seating. I am looking forward to the new fall menu and my next visit.
Always enjoy Lyon Hall! Great food, great service!
Great food without all the snub. Feels like your neighborhood mom and pop restaurant but has amazing French bistro atmosphere also. Great service, attention to guests, fast and high quality food. THE best bread that melts in your mouth. I LOVED the mushroom and bacon omelet, quiche Florentine, crisp chicken, steak frites, and pan roasted halibut.
Great as Always!!
Food taste unimpressive. Seems place has lost some quality. Very long wait for service as well.
Our family of 5 (older teen daughters) had the best meal we have had since moving to Arlington a year ago. The food was outstanding and the wine selection excellent. Highly recommend!
One of my favorite restaurants. Great food, good atmosphere, awesome staff.
The crème brulee with the mango-chili sorbet was incredible.
Great spot near us. We had the halibut and the salmon both were delicious
I have been a regular customer for 10 years now. I am amazed and delighted that they have been able to uphold a really high standard of service and great food. I'm not a fan of being seated on the sidewalk but dealing with covid means we adjust. The outdoor seating is safely spread out and service was just as great sitting outside as it has always been indoors.
I am really glad that Lyon Hall has managed to keep going. I hope to keep enjoying great food and service there for many years to come.
Nicely spaced outdoor tables, other diners and waitstaff respectful of distancing.
I recently had the experience to try out Lyon Hall. My overall experience was great, the menu options were excellent , and the food was delicious. Glad to be able to dine out while we are in RONA season. I will definitely be back again.
Mark is awesome as always. Classy more than clarendon standards... Ranya was managing and she she should run the all company.... her hospitality, professionalism, manners wow... respect...keep it up.clarendon is not all about young wasted kids running around....
Second time out. We had a great time. Great place that Weihenstephaner Heffe Weisen.
Lyon Hall is always a good choice for Clarendon area. We came for the Fish and Chips Wednesday special this time. My boyfriend is English and he’s been looking for Fish & Chips like home and we have yet to find it. This was not great but it was better than most around here.
Excellent service, tables were spread out enough outside to feel safe. Thorough cleaning after each customer also contributed to a feeling of safety.
Always a great experience and time at Lyon Hall - rock on!
Lyon Hall has always delivered on food quality and outstanding customer service and they continue to do so during these challenging times. We reserved outdoor seating and were pleased with everything about our visit; spacing between tables was perfect and health and safety measures overall were well taken care of. Our waiter was fantastic - professional, knowledgeable, and attentive and our food was fantastic, as always. This restaurant is a neighborhood gem and worthy of our patronage - whether through takeout or dining in.
All in all a great expedience
I've been a fan of Lyon Hall for years. It's always top of my list for Happy Hour, Brunch and Dinner. I live in Pittsburgh now so it's even more special when I get a chance to dine there. It's an even tie for the quality of food and the extraordinary service- both are excellent. I always feel so taken care of by the staff through the years and their menu strikes the balance of favorites you can count on like the oysters, their burgers [the pub burger is my favorite] , steak frites, tuna tartare, mussels vin blanc and their croque madame- not to mention their bread and salted butter and their seasonal items and specials- they had spring pea & ham mussels in the spring that were so flavorful. Same goes for their cocktails & beverage program. It's the place I most like to celebrate and that I most like to introduce people to for the first time- mostly because of the food & service, but it's also fun to wait and see their response to the restroom- if you've been there, you know. I hope they continue to weather the storm of this pandemic and thrive for years to come.
Everything was great except the hostesses, they were good, but they were not as hospitable as i expected in terms of getting us what we wanted... Nothing bad it was just the way they did things.
One of the best meals I’ve eaten since restaurants opened back up! The tuna tartare was fresh, my steak was cooked perfectly and treated myself to the key lime creek brûlée which I told the table is truly the best dessert I’ve ever eaten! The chili ice cream was wild but delicious! The food came quickly and the service hustles to get you everything you and your table needs as fast as they can! I’m still dreaming about the butter from the bread basket!
Watermelon Gazpacho is the best!
Great service and excellent food
HH was good. It was my mistake, but I wish it was more prominent that the foie burger was still a burger with foie. Otherwise, I would have gotten the mussels.
