Happy Easter from all of us at the Lyndale Tap House!

Great place! Burgers are amazing! Staff very friendly and attentive! However if you want napkins you get like four tiny bar napkins! They don’t have larger napkins :(
If you love coffee, you may need to go next door. Other than that, good menu, plenty if seating.
The service, food and atmosphere were all top-notch. We were welcomed by a very friendly server, shown immediately to our table, and well taken care of throughout our meal. We will definitely be back.
Good food and excellent happy hour drink specials. Also, happy hour lasted until 7 p.m. - very generous! Our server was really nice, too.
Great food and staff! #realminneapolissingles Speed Dating Event!
Great service. Great atmosphere. Great beer selection. The daily happy hour is good.
The food isn’t. It wasn’t really that tasty honestly. We had the artichoke dip. A few chips that were stale, a few pieces of bread. It was overpriced for what you got. Then had the pork and beef sandwiches. They were “meh”.
The waiter was attentive and very friendly though. And great beer selection. It was close to HUGE theater where we saw a show. That was a plus. Probably wouldn’t go back to this place though, there’s too many other better places to eat around there.
overpriced bland food. not worth the cost........................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The food was fine. The server was nice enough. Honestly this place was rather mediocre and since there are so many awesome restaurants in town I would not bother going back.
Food was amazing! Not busy for Sunday brunch.
We loved this place- the food was outstanding and it was great for celebrating a friends' birthday with a large group! :)
Great experience and food! Was terrific to be able to have my Yorkie with me in her carrier too!
Food was good but service needs work. Very slow and it wasn't busy at all.
My husband and I went for a restaurant week date night. We both liked our sandwhiches and the pretzels were delicious.
Neither of us could finish our food... definitely will not go hungry here! The atmosphere of the place was casual and although it was trendy, it did not feel like your run-of-the-mill uptown joint.
The food was fantastic. We went here for the first time during restaurant week and will definitely be back. Lots of great beers on tap.
The restaurant smells old and musty. They were understaffed and therefore we sat for long periods of time without being checked on (people out of drinks, needing food items, etc.). Our server was super nice and friendly but we could tell she was overwhelmed with tables and wasn't able to give much attention to any of them. This was especially disappointing considering it was during restaurant week where people are coming in to try a place they might have never been before - our whole group of 5 was newcomers and I wouldn't go back.
Great value for Restaurant Week!
Had been there plenty of times last year and liked the food alot but was very disappointed with the food and service on my last visit. The quality is not the same
Due to reading mixed recent reviews, I was a little concerned about having chosen this spot for a quick meet-up/burger with a pal. But we had a great time ... enjoyed the last 1/2 hour of a happy hour (every day, 4-7 pm, I believe) which meant 2 glasses of wine for the price of 1 (yay!). Our server was friendly and pleasant and did fill us in on Happy Hour pricing. Got appetizers for 'dinner' just because there were a few we wanted, and all were good-to-better than I expected (fish taco/pretzels/walleye bites). For sure it's 'bar comfort food' oriented, but that's what we wanted ... so all good. Decent house pour for wines, plenty of beers to choose from and a super nice open-to-the outside patio. Parking is right behind it (same parking as for Fuji-Ya) ... $2. for 2 hours. Not bad in Uptown. I'll absolutely go here again.
Very disappointed in the service - slow, not attentive. Loved the menu and think the food would have been good but it was cold-cold. Ordered appetizer of cheese curds that actually were hot and good but they came with all of the other food - which was cold, especially the french fries. Also, ordered the BBQ sauce on the side - it wasn't - and menu said roasted peach coleslaw - it wasn't. Restaurant was not busy at all so not sure why such a lack of service and cold food - great concept, great menu - only wish it would have been executed better.
We went for their happy hour and had the nachos with the French fries and the bread sticks
The good news: the breadsticks were awesome!
The bad news: everything else was crap.
The nachos had cheese whiz on it. $16 nachos with cheese whiz?? Seriously?
And the added chicken had some sort of sweet flavor to it that was not good. Was actually nauseating.
The fries were like a pile of cheese edible heart attack.
The server was the one that recommended them so... yeah, the service was poor, slow and not terribly honest about what was worth ordering
Pretty good food but awful service. Our server disappeared multiple times.
Happy hour was 2 for 1 beers, I'd much rather have a discount on all beers and wines rather than 2 for 1's. Oh well. their mac and cheese was one of the best ever! Our server was excellent also.
Excellent experience during Restaurant week. We had to take the dessert home in a box since the appetizer and sandwich were more than enough food. Good beer selection with a 2 for 1 happy hour (be advised that 2 of the same beer arrive together).
Our food was very good . We had been there before and liked it so we came for restaurant week. The service was VERY slow. People around us who came after us were finishing their meals before we got ours. We have not had this poor service before.
Went for restaurant week; best food was warm pretzel breadstick; pork sandwich flavorless; parmesan chicken was overdone; fettuccine sauce like it came from a jar; cheese cake dessert was awful. Worst food we have had in a long time.
Good Happy Hour specials. Service was good. Prompt and good attentiveness (our server didn't stop too often and make herself overbearing, but enough to keep our drinks filled)
Food was basic bar food quality.
staff was friendly and efficient
We went for brunch, it was nothing special.
good place to grab a drink, and probably a late night snack
Food was great, best burger the kids have ever had! The seating is a little worn, but has the genuine kindness and awesome food to compensate.
Great food and great beer list. Not too pricey
Our waitress was great, very accommodating.
Fun spot to grab a burger...pork that is ....slow cooked. Loved the Mango Pork sandwich.
The service here was impeccable. Let us take our time with menu and beer list but checked on us frequently enough to be efficient. Nice variety of local beers and the cheese curds!! Oh, the curds!! Yum.
However, when it came to the entree, the pit was unimpressive. Tasted reheated and the sauce was overpowering. Though the service was excellent and beers were adequate, I don't know that I'd pay that price for a meal there again.
Went for my birthday. The Tap House Benedict was terrific. The burrito was huge and delicious. I can't wait to go back for the hash and the hard cider French Toast.
I went with a friend and we both really enjoyed our meals. We started with the bean dip which was nice although maybe a more interesting bread with it would be better. The dip itself was good. We both chose pit beef sandwiches, I had the Thai Dragon and my friend had the Italian. We both loved our sandwiches and the sides. We also ordered wings to go and those were good the next day as well. Nothing fancy about the place but a great place for a quick lunch or group dinner and beer. I'll be back for sure!
Always amazing food. Generally a louder atmosphere but not bad enough to where you can't have a conversation
They have a great happy hour 7 days a week. 2 for 1's on all tap beers from 4-7. The apps are $2 off as well and the scotch eggs are fantastic. Their signature sandwiches are spot on, and if you like spicy try the Thai Dragon. A great place to go for any reason, including watching sports. Our server was one of the best servers we have had in a LONG time!
Lyndale Tap House is my all time favorite place to go to for brunch. The breakfast burrito is mouth watering!
We had lunch here on a weekend. I think this place has a lot of promise, but there needs to be more attention paid to food preparation. Fries came out cooked very inconsistently - my husband's were good, but mine were undercooked and cold. Server handled it well and brought out a new order, but unfortunately these were hot but still undercooked. I had the pit beef sandwich, and again it was lukewarm. Bun wasn't toasted. Some attention to detail in the kitchen would make us far more likely to return.
Great food- Restaurant and bar was packed- Thursday Night- First Green Bay Packer game of the season. Extremely loud but a lot of fun watching everyone.
We went to the a Lyndale Taphouse early on a Thursday night- while it has a huge bar, we went for the food. Our onions rings were not cooked all the way and extremely doughy on the inside.
We also ordered a sangria and a cranberry vodka. The Sangria was great and strong bug my friend had the feeling they were just drinking cranberry cocktail...
I ended up choosing the cashew chicken salad sandwich. It was served on stale ciabatta that crumbled in the corners as I tried to hold it. Otherwise- it was medicore chicken salad. My friend had order the fish and chips. It's two small (about 5 inches) pieces of walleye on a bed of the best handcut fries-- for $15. They do have walleye bites on their appetizer list for cheaper...our mistake.
